I was a low FOV dude for a while. No Motion Blur, disabled Depth of Field, everything. All I cared about was frames. Then I got a found a used 48 Inch 60 FPS 4k Monitor lying next to a dumpster on a bike ride. Playing SMR in 4K with the settings maxed out with reshade installed... IT'S A DIFFERENT GAME. You literally have no idea until you see it for yourself on a large 4k Monitor. Raising the FOV to 15-20, watching the city race by in a blur, swinging and zipping and doing tricks in the bright sunlight... It makes just swinging something you can do for hours. I would come home from work and just swing around the city for like an hour just to relax. Frames are great, and I can't even imagine these games in 4k on a giant screen that can handle even higher FPS, but I'm content with 60 for now. It's something I want to show people that don't play games to see how amazing an experience they can be. It's as close to actually experiencing what Peter himself must feel every time he's out being Spider-Man. Play the game in 4k on 50 inch screen as soon as you can.
Oh I played SMR in 4K maxed out with raytracing at a high fps. You're 100% right it looked phenomenal. It looked better than SM2 on PS5. I can't quite max out SM2 but Im pretty close. A good 4K screen makes a world of difference. Words cannot do it justice, it must be experienced.
Great video man. Just what I wanted to see with the PC version alongside different mods. 1:49 The whole bridge sequence was truly amazing. 2:48 Cracked me up whatever the hell that was lol. We need more videos with the different new mods next time🤟✌️
one option i wish the games had is to pull in or back the physical camera (not the field of view since only changes the perception rather than the actual position) because in my opinion it doesn't give enough spacial awareness how it is now and one way to understand what i mean go in to photomode while swinging set fov to 53 and pull the camera almost all the way back (easier to do with orbit camera so you don't loose the center) so this you get to look at the true scope and proportions of how tiny you are in the city and how towering the buildings actually are all with a really good perception of the space around you (which is whyon console i set camera movement to 5 instead of default which dcreases the field of vew in some way and the gain in spacial awareness for me is definitely worth the little trade in sensation of speed)
I know what you mean. Changing the camera distance without warping the perspective. There are some mods coming out to change this (over the shoulder cam) but its not quite there yet. It will happen though. I like the closeness but losing spacial awareness to look more cinematic can make it tricky.
could you make a video on how to handle the camera while swinging and another video that shows how to keep that speed as much as possible? That would already give you 2 new videos to publish!
Swinging bout to be cleaner than than the symbiote suit 🗣️🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥

A mod with dynamic swinging camera would add one of a cinematic immersion in this game.
Like how GTA had the cinematic camera options. Hard to play but it sure looked cool

Any swinging compliment from an actual pro means a lot XD
Was waiting for you to upload cinematic Spidey swinging vids on pc and you didn't disappoint.
From the maestro himself! Cheers

A momentum video is something I would like to do! There's a lot to it though.
What do you mean by handling the camera?
High FOV gang RISE UP
The stomach knotting up while you whip through the city, say what you want about this game, but gameplay is PEAK!!
This guy FOV's!
Are these setting on ps5?
Nope, not sure why either it's not that resource taxing. If anything zooming in means there's less to render!
@ so true! Hope they pull a GOW rangnarok and give us some dlc unexpectedly
@@Meme21_21 They confirmed there's no more content for SM2. Perhaps that implies they are working on a Venom game instead. Fingers crossed
@ fingers crossed 🤞
Where is link for the mod of field of view?
Isnt kod
After the newest patch now i can't even join the game, before it, it was working perfectly fine..
Frustrating. I'm sure that wont always be, hold tight web-head!
i prefer the default fov
Prob why it’s the default. Fun to change it up though
Max fov DOES actually increase your speed.
What makes you think that? Curious
@ I tested it by swinging a certain distance and timing it
@ But it’s only like 4 seconds faster but it definitely makes a difference to how fast I’m going
@@Ldiggss That's still a big deal! Do you think it makes everything faster or just Spider-man? Like enemies etc if you're chasing them
🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️fax boy
I want low fov on ps5 :(
Plenty other games have fov so it doesn’t make sense. Unless it’s nixxies who added it in since they ported it.
