That was very impressive. I learned a lot. Thank you!
For 6:00, could just intersect sky with itself. Same math but makes more sense. It's just darkening the grey areas of the mask.
The image is definitely oversaturated, especially on the warmer tones, but this video has some top notch tips on masking
This guy balances color better than I balance my checkbook
....extremely refined, thank you
Another great video! You never disappoint. Keep them coming.
Thank you!

Schloss Hohenzollern sehr geil und wie immer mega Tutorial
Vielen lieben Dank, freut mich dass dir das Tutorial gefällt! :-)
I'm early this time. Looking forward to watching this mate
I loved the video and learnt some more very useful steps in colour balance, thank you. I did notice a red effect in the lights which I dont think is quite normal and I would try to not introduce the red around the lights (just a comment) for my processing.
👍
Christian, I thank you very much for your wonderful illustration of colour balance! I feel that I have got a great help and a more inspired thinking about what you have presented!
I am just wondering about the time for the photos capture, for example at dawn or at dusk are both applicable to the color balance process, or it depends on the photos lightness and darkness.
Thank you for the comment!
The method shown here needs a photo shot around sunrise / sunset. during the day we dont get these intense warm + cold tones in the sky :-)
Christian, I thank you so much for your fantastic and inspiring explanation that is a truly help to me! @@ThePhlogPhotography
6:00 I think we can go faster by just intersecting the sky with himself to get the more precise mask with the same result.
I was hoping they would add some kind of quantity adjustement cursor for sky masks in the last v13.2 to correct this somehow but nothing yet.
Just a little detail but maybe the color adjustements made the street lights on the left way too red compare to the other oranges ones. Turned them into traffic lights :)
Thanks for the comment and pointing out the sky intersect trick! I do use this trick since a few weeks, just recorded this video at an earlier point :-)
A slider to adjust the masking amount for the sky selection would be such a greate addition!
@@ThePhlogPhotographyLet's start an online petition for the sky slider :p
Is one of yours raws are hdr or those staright oiut of camera?
