Hi Dave You are really good at operating your machines, I really appreciate that. I must strongly recommend that you use safety equipment when working with tree trunks and roots. Please use both hands on the saw. Sincerely Erik
Dave, I heard the other day a Utuber said, no matter what you carry in your truck always carry zip ties! When you were hooking up your grapple, it made me think about what he said and I think it was didit4 Davin! Seems like it was some good advice brother! I might have to start carrying zip ties now! lol 😂 Don’t forget to secure your hyd lines on the grapple my friend! I think those hoses are a little expensive brother! 👌🏻👍🏼👍🏼 just a thought my friend! You can’t go wrong with a Caterpillar Dave, even the track loader does awesome work! And just think if welded some flat bar next to each riser on the tracks, it would be a beast in the mud! Just a inch taller than the existing risers! They also make strap on tracks for a skid steer that has rubber tires, Matt on Diesel Creek had some on his rubber tire skid steer and he said they made all the difference my friend! I’m just enjoying your channel brother and I’m just voicing my opinion! Nothing meant by it! Thanks for sharing, Kirk from Louisiana! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻👌🏻👌🏻👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 I definitely understand you can only get one thing at a time Dave! 👌🏻👍🏼👍🏼
Something I have learned from Guilty of Treeson, he learned from guys cutting down redwoods they showed that when you buck long logs, you want to go in and out to kinda 'saw' back and forth, and that actually makes your cut a little bit wider and less likely to pinch your saw.
Good morning Dave ,your one handed sawing technique is seriously dangerous, if the saw kicks up and back you may not have the the single arm strength to hold it back from giving you a kiss, could get ugly.
Definitely putting out great content and even though people will pick on the way you were going about stuff if you are getting things done without a hospital visit 👌
Thanks! I was swapping motors in cars when I was 13, restored my first tractor when I was 15 and ran a landscape business for 10 years. I feel comfortable with what I do.
6/20/23; Dave had 2 stop yur video early on...when you are using only one (1) hand! Not a good or safe practice...yea I know bar gets pinched...maybe you have a sore back or other ailment...but please keep Both hands on that saw. Love your work ethic & your friendship with AC. He has lots of experience with this type of equipment. Buy him a few beers & keep him close...stay safe & carry on!💪👍⚙️🔧😊
If you start at the other end of the tree you can get a feeling for if the root ball is going to stand as you take pieces, if it does stand up it'll be super slow because much of the tree is still attached, Also wedges are your friend.
Dave, you should make a video talking about how you got into the roll off dumpster business and any advice you'd have for anyone else wanting to get into it
Cutting with one hand is not a good idea…zero protection on and if that was to kick back might ruin your day quickly …even kill yourself. I’m not the safety police kind of dude but just calling it like it is. Be safer please cutting wood.
When I saw you one-handing that chainsaw I thought to myself, "I bet there's gonna be lots of people going REEEEEEeee in the comments"...wasn't disappointed.
22:00 i'm like, are you insane ? You hire a rollback to haul stumps to the waste processing plant ? And then oh no, he's Dumpster Dave, he uses a dumpster to haul shit to the back of the lot...
You need to sell that equipment. You're scared of it like that chainsaw. You're scared of it. One-handed going to catch your head off when it bounces back, sell it all and go back to whatever you was doing to start with
Makes me cringe a little watching you saw with one hand whilst wearing zero chainsaw specific PPE. Both hands on the saw please, otherwise you'll be forced to only use one hand to saw.....if you know what I mean.
Was the title of this video- “Running a chainsaw for the first time ever..” ? Maybe get a larger saw and bar for the wood you’re cutting. Then learn how to use it.
One handed chain sawing will definitely leave you with one hand.
Certainly, I cringed at all the one handed sawing
I think he did this when he was scared that the tree could roll over, for run faster and to be ready
Thats no problem, he can already operate it with one hand
If you’ve never operated a chainsaw, with one hand, you never operated chainsaw much
I always did it one handed. That's all I have. Lost the left one in a farm accident in 64.
Good morning everyone. Good morning Dave.
Nice to start the day with a construction and chainsaw video!
Good morning, thanks for watching

Its a good thing that you know someone who has dumpsters 😁
Yes haha
That track loader may have been the deal of a lifetime!
Andrews old lemon counteracted that
9:49 Dave. “that’s not going anywhere”
15:30 Andrew. “Hold my beer”

Got good deal on that Cat what a ripper proper job
Thanks for your vid 😇💟💟💟 Love and bless you Dave, good work 👍😁.

I knew someone would catch that
Yes it was not so handy.
Tell me, how would a saw kick up and back from the middle of a cut while its bumper spikes are in the log ?
d dave was just showing off
Definitely putting out great content and even though people will pick on the way you were going about stuff if you are getting things done without a hospital visit 👌

Little dozer needs some side shields, probably a stick pulled the wire off!
I rolled on the floor laughing when you said the JD dozer was on eBay🤣😂🤩🤩😍
NEVER NEVER NEVER run a chainsaw with one hand. In no time at all you will be one handed or one legged.
Cool Wideo Dave

I bought the chain from Lowe’s, there chains don’t kick back.
@@Dumpster_Dave ! don't laugh too soon...
Send that little Camarata dozer to the scrap yard maybe you'll get more out of it there, lol.
Thank you 👍👍👍👍

Everything was so entangled makes cutting a little bit sketchy
Dave, you should make a video talking about how you got into the roll off dumpster business and any advice you'd have for anyone else wanting to get into it
I did a video over 2 years ago about that, but I could do another one. If people are interested.
Get u some cutting Chaps soon Dave!!
Hi Dave, what's going onto that sited you've cleared, more turning round room for vehicle? Or a big vehicle shed
Little turn around area and a patio-fire pit area
Cutting with one hand is not a good idea…zero protection on and if that was to kick back might ruin your day quickly …even kill yourself. I’m not the safety police kind of dude but just calling it like it is. Be safer please cutting wood.
48 for the CAT Track loader looks like a decent deal .
When I saw you one-handing that chainsaw I thought to myself, "I bet there's gonna be lots of people going REEEEEEeee in the comments"...wasn't disappointed.
👍👍
Ther are two handles for a reason and if your gonna saw one handed you better get chaps on.
You should have Andrew sign it and put a little description and writing on it and sell it as a collector's item
I personally would use 2 hands on the saw.. one hand is an accident waiting to happen.
Dangerous is you sawing with one hand. One kick back and your screwed. Don’t be dumb!!
Did anyone else notice the front right tire on the skid steer? I think it was coming off the wheel.
Good catch, first log I picked the tire blew. It’s like guarantee to happen.
I guess it happens. At least it's still holding up. Thanks for the reply!
Great job Dave. When's the big bon fire?
Soon
Dumpster Dave needs him an excavator now
One day
Great video, but never never one hand on a chain saw, big no no
They still make bars with replaceable tips probably not from box store
I’ll just drill a hole in the end of this bar for grease, everything is getting junkier.
@Dumpster Dave I agree
looking for trouble using one hand
Did you get rid of the old 1010 bulldozer?
No
For some reason nobody wants it
@@Dumpster_Dave LOL , I think that maybe Andrew should have came out with his video after you had it sold LOL. Wishing you the best with selling it.
no safty gear ?
You can't even spell safety correctly yet you're trying to tell someone else to do something the proper way...oof.
22:00 i'm like, are you insane ? You hire a rollback to haul stumps to the waste processing plant ?
And then oh no, he's Dumpster Dave, he uses a dumpster to haul shit to the back of the lot...
You should sell this little John Deere Bull dozer as a old timer for 6000 dollar 💲💰
I wish I could get $6000
Dave, were is your doggy?
Moss likes to terrorize the neighborhood, He’s like a kid always in trouble with the cops. He was inside. I’ll have him in one of the other videos.
You need to sell that equipment. You're scared of it like that chainsaw. You're scared of it. One-handed going to catch your head off when it bounces back, sell it all and go back to whatever you was doing to start with
I just bought 8 more chainsaws
Andrew comes in breaks shit and leaves lol
lol Andrew like to tear/break things apart like a drunken mad man.
I mean he isnt really babying it and its old as fuck. What does he expect
Under cut first
Get rid of that old dozer, worthless piece, but someone will take it for right price
Never buy one of Andrew's cast offs.
Start selling firewood good $$$$$$%%
Pay thousands for equipment but can’t afford a seat 😂
Lol I tried to buy one but they’re hard to find
