- This is my final assignment for Jumpcut Academy. The video is about my story of getting these wheels and the frustrations I had gone through. The wheels ended up being smaller than I expected and that was why I could never get the right tire look. Finally, at least I know now. Enjoy

Sick but clean G my man. I've been researching about tire fitment and was so enlightened that tire fitment is not easy, especially without knowing your wheel size. I want to buy knew wheels, but wanna get new tires before the wheels, keeping the 20s but I want wider wheels. However, every wheel I tried to order, the offset is too positive, therefore you gotta run spacers which I refuse to do cause it's poser stuff or find wheels that run low offsets. Trying To determine what tire size I want to go to and what aspect ratio to pick for the right sidewall look, then the wheel width and what they'll make the tire look like, and then offset and what is best for each model of wheel which requires measuring back spacing etc. I mean I went from a Dunlop race tire, to the exact same size Toyo T1 and the side wall wasn't stretched anymore... Only thing I could think of is that the two tires have different sidewall compositions and therefore different stiffness levels depending on the materials reinforcing the sidewalk??

It was my dads friend. we got it for cheaper, but were told the wrong size.
tires were also on it too, so we couldnt measure it properly

RJ and Paula check the balance on the rims at a tire shop, check the wheels for titties or bumps, check that the lug nuts (you’d be surprised) are tight enough and well tighten. Make sure tire pressure is to the spec of the tires, read them it should say it. Check you’re alignment as well.
maybe it's the steering wheel arms that need to be replaced when you put bigger size wheels on ur car

I recommend Michelin Pilot Super Sports they are expensive, but perform amazing!

On mine I'm running 18x10.5 -7 in the front and 18x12 +2 in the rear with almost no camber you could fit wider wheels with easy
What muffler you have?
265 35 19 and then the 225 35 is perfect for the front, and on the Z a little roll is needed in the back. 0 offset
Honestly bro anytime you want to do an aftermarket wheels set few people wanna to help you, but they all want to critique you... The best way I found out was trying to find used throwaway tires and use those as your fitment guide even though it very tedious i feel like it’s the only way

i had 19 inch stagger rims on my 05 sedan they look great! but was to heavy i noticed the intake was loud and i wasent even pressing on the paddle hard the rims was putting a strain on the engine thats when i found out the infinities have a soft engine they sound great and mean but soft engine.... long story short i had to put another engine in my car 5500 witch was great thing i put the Japaneses vq its a lil bigger but much stronger 20 more hp 57000 miles its much better then the american vq the american vq pistons go half way up instead of all the way up witch makes the car lose oil. what away to lose out on 5500

Did you get a baseline measurement? It’s difficult to get the right set up (personal choice) without knowing your baseline measurements. Spacers can make up any difference you didn’t calculate, on the cheap. If your supplier truly shipped the wrong product, that’s on them.
Why does your car make that noise when you start it up ?
If you look at the back of the wheel barrel it should have a stamp of the wheel seize on it. When I bought my work vs xx this guy say it was 19x9.5 and 19x11.5 but the stamp said 19x11
yeah, the thing is, they said that was wrong because they put different barrels and lips on it. I think it is right though, because it is the same size

You should've checked out the stamps on the inside of the wheel and look up how to interpret them. If the wheels weren't what you ordered, return them. I have 20 inch wheels on my G35 and not fitment issues. They screwed you on the wheels.

$4000 is around the market price of the 14 year old G35 coupe now. The wheels look fine and I doubt many people could tell the difference between a 10" and a 9" from afar.

Dude, those wheels and tires look SO perfect on that but to be honest, you got it to low to the ground. I know you young guys like your shit as low as you can get to the ground but that car in particular DOES NOT look tuff that low. Leave that we combo like it is because they look beautiful on that car but you gotta lift that car off the ground about a inch or two. Y'all are beaten the shit out of y'all's asses when it sits that low and things shake loose and you're stressing out the frame. Raise it some and put a spoiler on the back and man you'll have one bad ass ride. Take care buddy and be safe out there.

it all depend on what kind of stretch you are looking for. I would day maybe 225 and 245 or 255. something around that is what i like
Stock wheels still work for me.......outdoing everyone in takeoff, traction and handling with cars in my category that are stock, and even some modified cars as well........just because you have bigger tires doesnt mean you have more traction, even though thats typically the idea, doesnt mean it will work perfectly......only factory wheels work perfectly.......
19x10.5 = 275/35 and 19x9.5 = 245/35, looks good on my G35

It was a friend of my dads. I know its stupid, but it was my fault for not double checking. I didnt know how to properly measure a wheel.
Im running 225/35 and 245/35 (I believe) with the OEM 19 Ray's. PRETTY SURE that's what Im running. Running a 275 in the rear sounds crazy lol
