Like, how does he think that conversation went / should have gone? It makes no sense to be bitter at Kendrick about no matter what angle you make of it, but that’s the attitude he’s broadcasting.
Wayne has notoriously bad live performances (Wayne was the first concert I ever walked out of. He wasn’t even rapping he was just skating back and forth on these two little ass ramps.)
Everyone has been calling Wayne the GOAT for so long that they forget that he got fuckin embarrassed by both Pusha T and Hov when he tried dissing both of em 💀
I've never heard anyone, anywhere, at any point in time that has called Lil Wayne the goat. Absolute joke of a rapper (in my opinion. I also don't really get Kendrick Lamar either, I'm from the 90s/up until 2005 of hip hop/indie rap. Only two "modern" rappers I've enjoyed are Jpeg Mafia and Danny Brown, but maybe only half of their stuff).
Half of the reactions from some rappers, like Wayne, and some fans, give me the impression they are not actually listening to the lyrics which is wild because Wayne is super lyrical. Most people are still hung tf up on "do these songs bang or no? He mentioned someones name?! OMG BEEEEEEEF!" Kendricks views and arguments are proving correct and the whole prophet thing just keeps growing. Its insane to witness

yeah, lil wayne cant take jealousy very well clearly. and he is a horrible live performer, nobody should pick him over kendrick when it comes to live performances
Lil Wayne has one talent, and one talent ONLY: rapping. He can’t sing, he can’t play guitar, he can’t skateboard and he certainly doesn’t have enough stage presence to perform at the Super Bowl. When he’s in the booth, he’s a god. When he’s out of the booth, he’s useless.
It's gonna be an 8. It's like Mr.Morale. Really good, thought-provoking album, except its got less skips than Mr.Morale and more bangers, and is easier to digest, way easier actually. MAYBE he'll give it a 9 because it's clear KDot wasn't trying hard to make a conceptual masterpiece and it would be unfair to grade him by that metric? Idk. Thats how I grade it, if KDot isn't trying to make a literal bible chapter I ain't gonna grade em like he is. It's a 9 for me in normal standards, but 8 for me in previous KDot standards. Edit: I was right.
I Love Wayne! I would love to see Lil Wayne do the Super bowl. I think he deserves it but this is literally embarrassing. Like sir can you even stand up for 30 minutes straight. You got lean body! Kendrick Lamar has one of the greatest pop culture moments for a rapper of all time. The Super bowl halftime show is not a Lifetime achievement award 😭. And he's literally too big of legend to be on the internet crying about what he did or didn't get. Like I think it's lame with artists do that about award shows but this isn't even a competition lmao. And why would you make it into a competition between you and Kendrick because if that's the case you lost😅
4:58 I was gonna say he hasn’t put out music in years and then I went to Spotify. He put out two CDs in 23. And that’s crazy because I haven’t heard about a release of his since Carter four I’m guessing they weren’t that good
lil wayne released like 2 good songs in 2008 and hasn't done shit since, but in the last 5 years everyone saying he's the best of all time. ridiculous.
Lil Wayne is a legend. Lil Wayne has always sucked during live performances. Wayne was huge back when every rap concert I went to sucked until Travis Scott started getting huge and showing what a live show should be.
I feel like if Wayne had reached out to Kendrick suggesting a collaboration during the show, Kendrick would've gladly invited him on stage for a song or two. Instead, he responded in the worst way possible.
Wayne can still feel the way he did; all he should have done was acknowledge Kendrick, and we might not even be having this conversation. Some might say Wayne doesn't owe Kendrick anything, which is also true. But to react a certain way as someone of his artistical stature and then not expect a reaction is... incredibly naive.
He owes Kendrick basic respect. Especially given how much praise Kendrick has heaped upon him throughout his career. Kendrick has done nothing but show Wayne love for his whole career only for Wayne to not even acknowledge his accomplishments as he whined about feeling entitled to something Kendrick earned. Tbh Kendrick had every right to go at his neck on that song and he still didn't say nothing bad about Wayne.
Obviously, idk what Kendrick would do because idk the guy personally. But it’s possible that Kendrick wouldn’t have a problem with bringing Wayne out. Now, that probably won’t happen because Wayne decided to be a crybaby.
As much as i love wayne the people defending this are so weird. I believe the dude is upset but at the same time he like, invited himself after not being picked for it and then put out this whiny shit. This is disappointing i had more respect for dude than this
It's crazy to be expecting a show... and to expect others to be sad that you didn't get to play at a superbowl show. I understand wanting it, but to expect to get it just because you're from there is wild.

lil wayne had a lil whine

What music, did he release- presently, to warrant center stage, for the Super Bowl. Lil Wayne’s response about wanting to be left alone, shows the relevancy to Kendrick’s bar… Kendrick has out worked him, and lil Wayne still stating “I wanna chill…”

Lil wayne being senile at this point

@@BigOwl51at this point? Have you not seeing his interview where he doesn't support Black Lives Matter but can barely mumble through an explanation?!
Not senile, just butthurt. Melon even agrees that he's not necessarily wrong to expect an invite since it's in his home city. It's whatever.
@@duhduhduhdiesel1436 Black Lives Matter (The organisation) is a scam so I wouldn't support it either, maybe thts what he meant.

Yo if Limp Bizkut and Kendrick bust out a banger like Break Stuff or Rollin' that would go hard
Lil Pump is handling sound production.
I heard nostalgia critic is popping out
Love the editor choice for just the big old zoom on Kendrick in the Super Bowl pic. I laughed. Probably just me, but I laughed.
The thing that rubs me the wrong way is Wayne acting like everybody involved considered him the default if KDot refused, including Kendrick himself. Like, how does he think that conversation went / should have gone? It makes no sense to be bitter at Kendrick about no matter what angle you make of it, but that’s the attitude he’s broadcasting.

We are deprived of another lil wayne legendary guitar solo 😭😭
Half of the reactions from some rappers, like Wayne, and some fans, give me the impression they are not actually listening to the lyrics which is wild because Wayne is super lyrical. Most people are still hung tf up on "do these songs bang or no? He mentioned someones name?! OMG BEEEEEEEF!" Kendricks views and arguments are proving correct and the whole prophet thing just keeps growing. Its insane to witness
Old Man rock still dominated the Superbowl 10 years ago, Lil Wayne & Ludacris would have had a Superbowl Show back in the day if more rap was featured.

Ultimately, jealousy is a normal human emotion. It’s not morally wrong to get in your feelings because a peer succeeded where you felt you deserved to succeed.
What you do in response to that emotion, however, is on you.
yeah, lil wayne cant take jealousy very well clearly. and he is a horrible live performer, nobody should pick him over kendrick when it comes to live performances
7:56 Actually wayne did indirectly made his stance clear in a live show wearing ovo chain and saying they not like us ,that was directed at kendrick
Hear me out... "Meet the caters" and at the end the audio to the video of wayne being upset and closely followed by a "i remember you was conflicted"😂
🤨
Lil Wayne has one talent, and one talent ONLY: rapping. He can’t sing, he can’t play guitar, he can’t skateboard and he certainly doesn’t have enough stage presence to perform at the Super Bowl. When he’s in the booth, he’s a god. When he’s out of the booth, he’s useless.
On the other hand: just imagine him torturing his guitar at Super Bowl halftime..

@@domesticmh4567 We already know it’s gonna be an 8 stop thinking it’s gonna be anything crazy😭
It might be a light 8 you never know lol

And he's literally too big of legend to be on the internet crying about what he did or didn't get.
