Making HANDMADE Classic Balmoral Boots from Start to Finish

- I made a dual-tone Balmoral boots by combining brown vegetable Buffalo calf leather and beige colored goat leather.
Through broguing and gimping,
I designed a style that combines classic and modern sophistication.
The boots were hand-stitched using a hand welt construction method.
The entire production process, from design to completion, took approximately 23 days.

Growing up my whole life of shoetown USA (Haverhill MA) it amazes me to see what our ancestors did on a daily basis. I see all the old shoe buildings either being torn down or renovated into apartments and condominiums makes me think of the buzz in the community with all the banging and sewing machines etc. What a time it must have been to live in.
That's right. It's a very unfortunate reality. Nowadays, in Korea, cafe startups are trending, and most of the old buildings have been renovated into cafes. That's why I moved my workshop to a rural area with nature. Thank you for your comment.

In this stamped-out world, it's very satisfying to watch a master craftsman make by hand something as complex as a pair of shoes, and make it so perfectly.

Such a true work of art! Incredible workmanship throughout the entire process. I love the details around the eyelets along with the stitch work. Also being custom fit to the customers foot they must feel great on the foot while walking. They have a old style to them and it looks great. The two tone color gives them a very unique design and fits the shoe very well. Thank you for sharing Mr Kim you craftsman is incredible.

The patience in the artistry that goes into this, IS UNCANNY... I do tattoos and it comes very naturally to me. But I can't even comprehend the process of how Terry makes his shoes?....I'm seeing it with my own eyes 👀and I still can comprehend it... Wonderful craftsmanship and beautiful videography as well - no unecessary music, no distractions - just art. Meticulousness worthy of a vascular surgeon! Seeing very cute pup was a welcome addition ❤️ I would love to see (or hear) if there are any differences in lasting patent leather (due to possibility of creasing?) and to see a craftsman of Your skill make a pair of stilettos using same technique.

Making these shoes is very difficult job, but filming the whole process nd editing it is MORE difficult job.. God bless u, nd our country.
