I am Thai, and it's true that there are often conflicts online between Thai and Cambodian people. However, I believe this is just a small part of our societies. I am pleased to see Phnom Penh developing positively, as I understand the immense hardships they have faced in the past. Keep progressing, Phnom Penh!
Ur always welcome back, we may not be the most developed country after the genocide - but we are quickly growing and we hope you can find wonder in Cambodia. The people of Cambodia will always welcome you ❤
What an amazing shopping mall that is. Better than what we have here in Oz by a fair margin. Great presentation too champ. It is great to see that Cambodia is making some rapid progress with its development. I can only wish it well. Getting excitable now with the news you are heading to KL for a while. I really do enjoy watching content from there and Malaysia generally as, I would say do many others that view this channel. There is so much more to see and do there. Cheers mate and stay CHAMP 🤩
@@tshavfengvang7831 Cambodia is basically another puppet of China. China has pretty much tied up southeast asia. They played a part in myanmar coup for sure. I've been to cambodia and anything and everything that is anything there has some sort of root in china. You would think who really can afford anything in a mall or condos when people there are still poor as hell. Aeon 2 was far out and more than big enough. This aeon 3 is so unnecessary
I’m glad Cambodia is developing and improving but I fell in love with the traditional markets and the beautiful people . I hope they keep the smiles and warm friendliness
The very large mega mall of Cambodia 🇰🇭. Is truly spectacular perfectly. I would forget mall of America 🇺🇸. I rather visit an see this gorgeous gem of southeast Asia. My great information for today. Have a great fabulous wonderful day.
During the grand opening, i was there. The traffic jam was so bad because approximately around 100k people was heading to Aeon 3 at the evening during grand opening, traffic jam last for 1 hour when I returned back home.
I have seen some comments stating why the mall is silent. Aeon 3 has finished its project and is the new mall, so not many shops are open yet. Additionally, the population of Cambodia is only 17 million, with just 2 million people living in Phnom Penh, which is relatively small compared to other major cities. Moreover, the tourism industry has not fully recovered yet due to Covid’s impact. However, people will be at Aeon 2 (another mall) during the weekend if you want to check it out.
Excellent review thank you. I do still like the way you don't have to travel far from the modern to be immersed in the traditional street vendors/markets, best of both worlds.
WORLD SHOCK IS COMING... from the Watchman River channel brought me here. He talked about different parts of the mall. Got me in the mood to check out different malls around the world.
Have you ever visited Toul Sleng museum to learn about history of Cambodia during the darkest time from 1975-1979? Cambodia used to be the pearl of Southeast Asia. Due to mass genocide, it has made Cambodia lag behind neighboring countries in term of development. Almost half of Cambodians population were killed. Most of them were scholars and well- educated people. 😢 It was so hard to develop country without having human resources. Now Cambodia is starting to rise again with rapid growth as we have more and more human resources now. It was very sad that you had to see the poverty in Cambodia.
Thank you 😊 I’ve only been to the killing fields to learn about this tragic history 💪 Its very sad this happened and hopefully we can only go onwards and upwards❤️
Oh my gosh it’s so big. It’s very beautiful and modern. I gotta check it out! I hope they don’t charge me too much for parking motorbike like Aeon malls!
You still be charged for parking in their place unless you park outside the mall 😂. Anyway, you just pay 1000 Riel or about 0.25$ for parking motor bike.
This looks really good! I am happy for the Cambodians they are doing well. This has been the story of developing Asia in the last few decades. Even I am sometimes surprised by how much economic progress they are all making. The gap between the developed countries and the rest has really dramatically narrowed. There are indeed many formerly developing countries that are now beating Western countries on certain metrics (e.g., see China), and a lot of people in the West, accustomed to being constantly told by their media how superior their system is than everyone else's, are in for a rude awakening when they realise how false this narrative is, and the rest of the world has caught up.
There very few people going to Aeon3 since it a bit far from the main city area and the traffic there is a mess. but it still a new highly developed area. Hope to see people there more in the future.
Very nice mall, but not many shoppers. The clip shows a parking lot with few cars. I don't know if it's a normal day during filming? That's understandable because most people at work.
Honestly, I love malls, even when travelling. I like coffee shops, air conditioning, people watching, ... I don't shop much. Anyway, thanks for the video.
But Chip Mong should have built it in the way of ICONSIAM in Bangkok to showcase Khmer food and products. But they just built on a piece of land out of nowhere just like a mall in California and these malls here are going out of business because of lack of relevance.

Beautiful mall, but this one still looks very empty, I always look forward to visit this, but is just too far from the city, doesn't look like too much attraction besides the glass bridge. Japanese Aeon invested very heavily in these three Aeon, each bigger than the last, highly unlikely they can breakeven. Parkson, I think from Malaysian was suppose to compete with Aeon 1 many years ago, but that die before it arrive. Chip Mok also build very large mall recently but the onle I visit also have few customers. The mall next to Olympic park is also large, but is basically dead already. So only Aeon is standing.

Ken. Instead of showing the new universal AEON shopping mall, I rather see on your video a Khmer classic tour of beautiful moderm Phnom Penh with old French Khmer beautiful buildings built back in late 1800s and early 1900s such as the Royal palace, the National museum, the Central market (Psar Thmey), the Mediterranean style railway station ad the recently restored French Monument Aux Morts etc.
