I am currently doing a commission piece and it's a silhouette of a female face. I am so going to do this and practice on some canvas board first. Love the idea and the effect it created. Stunning and thanks so much for trying it out and giving viewers another option!!!
Jenn, just found your video and blown away..Its fabulous....I paint pet portraits, and after watching this, my mind won't shut off...I have to try this with a fur baby for sure....Thank you for sharing, and love your teaching skills...Your very calming... .
Awe thank you SO much Katie!! I love that you paint pet portraits!! I LOVE my kids LOL I have two Boxers and a cat ;P I would love to see what you come up with for a fur baby!! Awe thank you SO Much for your kind words - they mean so much to me :) I hope you have a blast creating and please do send me a picture after - I love seeing everyone's creations! facebook.com/CraftyJennArt Thank you SO much for watching ;)
I’m a hair stylist but I LOVE making art. So I want to make a piece for the shop. Recently started acrylic pours and now interested in doing acrylic and resin art. When I saw this I knew I would have to make a piece with a face like this but with flowing resin hair. I can’t wait to try this.
That would be a great piece of art in your hair salon!! I hope you have a blast creating one and if you need any help with acrylic pouring I have an eBook for beginners on my store: www.craftyjennart.com I hope this helps and thank you SO much for watching ;)
I bet you'll have lots of fun trying it out :) I have an ebook for beginners that explains my process if your interested; craftyjenn.mybigcommerce.com/acrylic-pouring-for-beginners/ and a link to supplies; www.amazon.com/shop/craftyjenn This will guide you and help you to get started with all you need for acrylic pouring :) Thank you so much for watching :)
thank you for this piece of art ( goddess ) , very creative idea, smart in choosing the colors , very warm i loved it ...thumbs up,,,, i will try to do it, as i already did lots of Acrylic pour & wipe paintings.. i love this technique ..
Fascinating how you swiped a few times to get it the way you wanted, It’s gorgeous, love ❤️ the colours you chose 💕Happy the spray you used came off okay. Marvellous 🌹🌹
I have a Cricut, and have used this silhouette several times.... Therefore, I have a few of the "face" parts. Great to have an alternative so that I can use them, too! Thank you
Thank you SO much :) I just hand painted with gold paint that had no additives in it. Here's a link to a video where I do show me painting in the negative space; ua-cam.com/video/PLRMEo9pris/v-deo.html Thank you so much for watching ;)
Thank you SO much :) LOL No prob - it's all about learning and if I can hopefully help someone else save some paint and headache then my job is complete LOL Thank you for watching :)
LOL I hadn't seen a jelly fish but that's super cool :) I didn't use any string for this piece just swiping with acrylic paint and additives but thank you so much for watching ;)
I’ve watched this more than twice and every time u run that knife over the black I say, no, no, don’t do it, but somehow u don’t wipe off the gorgeous colors and it turns out amazing. How do u do that. I love it.
LMAO that is too awesome!!!! I've heard that a few times from other people watching me swipe LOL They tell me they scream at the screen LOL I've just found that it's okay to keep swiping and you still get amazing cells. I guess if it hadn't worked it would have been a bust LOL Thank you so much and thank you for watching ;)
Whoa that turned out awesome! I so need to start trying acrylic pouring. To me, this kind of pouring look more up my alley then just filling a cup with colors and dumping it. Lol! Off to dig through more of your videos! Hoping to find a wave one! Hehe!
Awe thank you SO much :) Yes definitely give it a try it's super fun! LOL Thank you so much for watching my videos and yes there is a few wave ones LOL The most popular is this one; ua-cam.com/video/xZjdYMFkvwA/v-deo.html
For anyone else who tries this, DO NOT do it over another acrylic painting (re-used canvas) When you pull up the peelable stuff it pulls up your old painting and gesso right down to the canvas!! I managed to get it to stop doing that for part of the painting but have a large area I have to try and fix somehow. AND be super patient and let it completely dry before peeling or you wont get clean lines when you pull by her face. Other then that it turned out REALLY COOL!!! Just sharing my learnings from this.
Oh NO!!! I hadn't tried it on any old canvases myself so thank you SO much for the advice!!! I hope you will be able to fix it :) I'm so happy you were able to try it out!!! Can't wait to see the beautiful artwork and thank you again for the lessons learned :)
Hi Jenn i m from India .. very much impressed .. yr art work is really awesome n very different .. Would like to try this very soon .. thax fr sharing .
This is stunning!! I would love to try this but not sure I have the patience like you do. Jenn this is I think the most beautiful thing I have seen any one create. You are awesome. Can’t wait to see what you come up with next. 🌹
Awe thank you SO much John :) Thank you for all your kind beautiful words :) I greatly appreciate them :) You are an awesome person!!! Yes my brain never turns off LOL Thank you SO much for watching ;)
This is my favorite! In your next project, use painters tape over most of the non pour area, overlap the tape, then only spray a smaller area of the non pour with the rubber. Let the rubber dry. Do the pour. Then remove from the painters tape first. It will remove easier and faster, last remove the rubber since its a bit harder. Keep up the great work!
CraftyJenn MERCI.....THANK YOU SO MUCH HAPPINESS and i loock forward to another video Pity for me that he has the language barrier to follow the subtleties of the tips during the video( .thank you Google translation😉)

LOL that's actually my puppy Casper playing with a piece of wood LOL He likes to pick it up and drop it LOL It's so cute and funny but super loud! I love what your son calls noises in your background LOL So cute! My crafts are everywhere too and I really need to reign them in LOL
Hi very nice work. Love your designs. I have the Cricut maker and I’ve been very successful in using Oramask transfer tape and stencil vinyl from US cutter. Once cut I weed and then transfer to the project. I use minwax polyacrylic to seal the edges before I paint or pour. Then when I peel away the stencil I have nice crisp lines and usually no bleed. Keep up the fun and creativity!
Thank you SO much :) I too LOVE my Cricut LOL Oooo great tip for using the transfer tape and also using minwax! I actually have some so will have to try it out ;P Thank you SO much for watching and you as well keep up the creativeness!!!
Thank you SO much :) Yeah I'm pretty excited for the rustoleum - it worked awesome - I'm trying out contact paper right now to see if it'll work just as good :)
This looks awesome. I'm just going to start my first ever pour and watching all these videos on what I could try is making my head spin. Beautiful work is all I have to say.
This is amazing, I think if you gently score the line before you pull off the template you would get a cleaner edge and it might be easier, but it's just lovely!
