Hi Judy, My name is Mike. I've been a fan for years. Still watch The Walton's, daily. Thank you for bringing wholesome entertainment to the world. We need that again. God bless you, always ❤️
I love that you’re doing these behind the scene UA-cam videos Judy. Thank you for sharing your life and your memories of the Waltons with us. I’ve been enjoying re-watching the series on Freevee. Whenever I feel like I just need a feel-good moment, through these hectic times, I turn on the Waltons. I am 64 years old…. And I remember laying on the floor with my chin in my hands watching every episode as I was growing up. The youngest of six, I wished I could be on that farm with all of you and could relate to so many of the sibling interactions. You were always my favorite, as I’m a tomboy just as you are. You look beautiful. Big hugs to you and a happy Thanksgiving.
Judy, that cake was wonderful. I loved when I first saw that episode in the 1970s. I was a tiny, little kid. You know how cake impresses a kid. They still impress me. Thank you so much for the episode and giving the recipe.
I found the recipe for applesauce cake on the website for The Waltons museum, but I've never tried to make it. Is the raspberry cake available somewhere?
I also wanted to comment on John Dayton's answer to Richard Thomas' 'questionable wink'. Firstly,it is unbelievable how acute his memory is.He is able to recall and retell the incidences, conversations, and reactions on that day. I have always been the eternal optimist my whole life as well, sometimes annoying people with my continuous sunny vibes when I was younger,so I totally relate. However,he was right in saying that "everything works together for good",and that was seen in the very positive wink of Richard Thomas. He obviously perservered, despite some obstacles, and came out smiling in the end!!

Judy, thanks for your channel. It brings back good memories of watching the show with my grandparents. I'm not sure if you have ever talked about this before but in the episode "The Seperation" from season 2, in the scene where grandpa goes back to the Baldwin sisters house to get the perfume he bought for grandma and they show the outside of their home and garage you can see a structure on the far left side of the screen, behind the garage and about the same height as the house. I was just curious to know if you have ever noticed it before. I think I saw it on the episode The Star also.

Glad your cake turned out so well. Nice you touched on the telephone scenes, I've often wondered how that was done. I was noticing how nice your costumes evolved as you matured in the series. Your outfits for the 1940s suited you well , they were so period approite. The same goes for Mary McDonough. Hello Judy,Thank you for sharing how your cake turned out. I was curious.Although it had the extra steps,it's good to know that the work was well worth it! Your spontaneity as you did this baking segment is really nice, and inspiring for all of us amateurs out there!!
The cake looked divine! Like others , since watching you for the last few years, I find myself watching any show, movie documentary etc with different eyes. Your insight and knowledge opened my eyes to a whole new level of enjoyment. At first I was disappointed because it took away some of the mystery and magic of the experience. But now I find it fascinating! Thank you for all you do. Have a lovely Thanksgiving. I know I will. Mary
Did the Baldwin's change Churches from Presbyterian to Baptist early in the series? After that I believe the only other Church mentioned was the Methodist Church when Erin wanted to elope. Please keep the shows coming. Love them all. 😀😀
I love the episode The Matchmakers. Ronnie Edwards who played Corabeth Walton was wonderful in this show. Her acting revealing her loneliness and fears to Olivia so touching, especially her eyes expressing these feelings. Her portrayal of Cora Beth was superb in all the episodes.
Ronnie Claire showed she had a lot of range as an actress. We rarely got to see the more vulnerable side of Corabeth but it was very moving when she had those moments.
I love the sweater you are wearing! I couldn't help notice it went with the color theme of the raspberries. The cake looked fabulous! I wish you and your family a very Happy Thanksgiving 🦃 I love to bake pies for this occasion so I have 7 baked so far and 11 more to go as we have a big family.
In the theater, they often break the fourth wall. When I saw Cabaret on Broadway, Alan Cumming would leave the stage and go into the audience and look for a man to dance with on stage.
In The Best Christmas was the couch in your house the same one used in the Walton house? They looked like the same one and Johnboy even mentioned the similarity. Your reply was moma had extra fabric lol. I’ve always wondered if they somehow altered the Walton living room to make it the living room in your house for that scene.
In Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Ferris breaks the 4th wall throughout the movie. Question about the Olivia's shoes in the Anniversary. For TV, was it on the actors to know or keep track of which shoes they were wearing or did that fall on the wardrobe crew member(s)? When I worked in theatre, the wardrobe folks were generally responsible for that.
It would generally be up to the wardrobe person to put the correct shoes with the costume for the actors and then the script supervisor might also catch it.
I so love your explanations & energy! You'll Always keep me interested in these posts Judy! Thank you & ps Love your top & necklace today!! Always so elegant!! 👍❤️🙂
Judy looking especially lovely in maroon. And the cake 🎂 passed with flying colors both in visual appeal and taste and texture. Blue Ribbon at any county fair for certain. 😊
There is a great police series in the UK (it may have made its way across to you as well). It’s called Annika starring Nicola Walker. Her character regularly breaks the fourth wall and treats the audience as her friends and confidents. It’s absolutely brilliant. I love that fans spot thinks like Richards wink and Michaels shoes :)
Yes! I’ve been watching Annika. We’re big fans of Nicola Walker’s work My husband and I watch a lot of British shows. We watched all of Last Tango in Halifax and Unforgotten that she starred in.

Well done Judy. Love these videos. 👍🏻
Thanks so much!
Hi Judy! I don't know why I'm here exactly! But I have been looking for you for some time now. AZ
Welcome… is there a particular reason you have been looking for me?
Nope. Just Judy. Judy. And now I'm here. Ziepke
@judynorton2598 maybe ziepke?
Mary
So glad it hasn’t taken the pleasure out of watching - but rather given you a fresh look.
Thank you, Judy, Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!
Thank you. You too.
Good catch on Livie's shoes :)
Definitely a good catch.
Thanks for explaining about breaking the fourth wall. I knew what it meant, but I didn't know why it was called that. Your explanation was excellent.
So glad it was helpful.
Did the Baldwin's change Churches from Presbyterian to Baptist early in the series? After that I believe the only other Church mentioned was the Methodist Church when Erin wanted to elope. Please keep the shows coming. Love them all. 😀😀
Not sure on the church change. I think for long term it wasn’t practical to have multiple churches.
I knew that cake was going to be yummy!!! Thank you for the insight and interacting with us you're fans!!! Happy Thanksgiving!!!
Glad you enjoyed it.
Thank you for including that snippet of footage of you tasting the cake- I was wondering how it tasted when you posted that video a few weeks ago lol!
Can’t believe I missed that originally!
Very informative segment. Loved it. Thank you.
So glad!
Judy another wonderful review. Thanks so much for the cake recipe and the tasting piece.
Beulah was wonderful in her appearances on the Waltons.
Thanks for watching!
Happy Thanksgiving
Happy Holidays
Thank you.
The episodes with Jenny are some of my favorite. I always wanted to see more of her character through the years.
Glad you enjoyed the episodes with Jenny.
Fantastic Ask Judy!! Best one yet!! 🔥❤️🔥🔥
Thank you.
Happy Thanksgiving, Judy!
Same to you!
Awesome! Thank you!
Did the cake have a little recipe in it lol.
It had Chambord.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Thank you. You too!
In the theater, they often break the fourth wall. When I saw Cabaret on Broadway, Alan Cumming would leave the stage and go into the audience and look for a man to dance with on stage.
Love that. It does happen in theatre, for sure.
Great question. I have no idea. The set was a different space, but perhaps they borrowed the couch.
@ if you watch the episode you will get a laugh when John boy points out the couch
Hi Judy thanks for sharing this very interesting hope you have a nice Thanksgiving

Dear Judy,
Will we ever have the privilege of watching
"JUDY REACTS TO MOVIE CLASSICS" ?
At least one per month?
Happy Thanksgiving!
Interesting idea.
Judy looking especially lovely in maroon. And the cake 🎂 passed with flying colors both in visual appeal and taste and texture.
Blue Ribbon at any county fair for certain. 😊
Thank you!
I was just going over your filmography on Wikipedia and noticed that you appeared in four episodes of Password Plus. I watched some of them, and you did GREAT! Did you enjoy doing game shows?
Thank you. Password Plus was my favorite game show to do.
Happy Thanksgiving Judy, MaryEllen
Thank you. You too.
