TMNT is tanking hard because of really bad art decisions and truly horrifying racially confused woke bullshit. Ain't no black Irish gonna be a thing being an O'Neil. Screw that. And pastels heavily smeared on a retard-looking goof-fest garbage appearance and claymation-like glitchiness animation? Heck no, HARD PASS, and everyone should HARD PASS. Then they screwed it up by giving the 2018 version an over-simplified bad art style with gutterbrain appearances and heads shaped like vertical bricks... What the hell is that trash!? Really... So bad. The 2012 variety was actually stellar as it had a great appearance, the bodies were not morphed into bizarreness, the size was more akin to the earlier movies, there was some variety in appearance between the main characters, April was properly Irish and even had red hair, Splinter was legitimately fully fleshed out and drove the hearts and root of the overall storyline effectively. Plenty of highly appropriate characters and correct character implementation across the board, highly skilled animation, many over-arching episodes with some stand-alones, and enough grittiness and adequate humor to address a wide range of ages and eras. End result should be that they return to their 2012 to 2017 hardest-hitting overall best and quit experimenting. This is ten true formula that works and lasted the longest. No more need to reboot things. Just make a permanent choice in that specific style and maybe do an increase of it by proceeding to run an alternate version called Mutant Ninja Turtles to progress them out of Teenage so they can become more mature and gritty with more injury and fatality throughout the series. So, basically, return to the 2012 formula to continue TMNT and simultaeneously run a time-forward variant called MNT which has the same style but in a grittier more harsh manner. This 2-series permanent solution will appeal to the most people for the longest period of time and will be a staple to base movies off of. Just think of it as the standardized process just like how Marvel standardized their style between all their universes and characters all connecting to Avengers in some way. It's the only way TMNT can win, and win it should. No more sub-par trash. This is the ultimate verdict. Only complaint I have that can be easily fixed is give the turtles slightly bigger shoulders... 😊
I mean, if nothing else, "permanent teenager" is one of the most accurate self-appointed titles I've seen. The man is still making the same jokes your average stoned out teenager would make.
From what I'm hearing is April only looks like this due to this WHAT the VA is which defeats the purpose of playing an animated character. If she wanted a character to look directly like her, then do live action.

Rogen certainly has the intelligence of a permanent teenager. We used to call them "Super-Seniors" back in my day.

From what I'm hearing is April only looks like this due to this WHAT the VA is which defeats the purpose of playing an animated character. If she wanted a character to look directly like her, then do live action.

@@BWatskins The same people flip their shit when you bring up a white Blade or Luke Cage. @@FxCalibur Indeed it's all about the message and destroying the identity of the character and shove it down the fans throat until shills can convince themselves of liking it. Kudos to that Japanese artist he was just bringing the real MJ
