Another brilliant show Tim. Great to know that the channel is not monetised. Also thanks for the support for the UK. Never in the field of human politics was so much destroyed by so few so quickly 🤷♂️
I'm still a big believer in Britain. It's been through worse and come out stronger. Hopefully, I'll be visiting next February, so I might get to say hi. Best, Tim
Great show, thanks Tim. I didn't catch it live unfortunately; I never was a night owl. As for our Skoda, it's a wreck but who cares as long as you have a nice watch on, right?!
A platinum sub would need a unique but easily understood name for the watch and materials. How about the Rolex Inobtainium? Or has that name been taken by another sports model?😂
I expect a very good future for four anniversaries, the SD43, the Polar anniversary and both of the Apollo 11 50th anniversaries, moonshine gold and the steel 6969. They just might take some time to be super hot fire 🔥.
Experiencing a panoply disappointed emotions because there was no Halloween show. A watch materials segment (e.g. titanium vs steel) would be some consolation.
@@the1916companywatchreviews I was really looking forward to a Halloween/horror movie show. I just don't see the issue with occasional fun episodes, especially if the show is not monetized. Now we have to wait another year for the possibility. I hope whatever this show gets over 15,000 views was worth it because things like Halloween episodes (occasional pop culture commentary, etc.) are what make this channel different, fun, and relatable (especially because a lot of the watches are not all that attainable/relatable [Rolex, AP, PP, etc.]).
I wish to collect anniversary watches, but can’t always afford the more than USD 15K at each purchase. I usually buy a watch every two years. Currently I have the following anniversary pieces: Apollo 6969, SD43 and Monaco Gulf (its a a special edition. I guess it was issued on the 50th anniversary of the Gulf Monaco). I am on the list for the latest Polar.
If I knew the answer to that, I'd have hundreds of thousands of views! It's written and performed same-day, so maybe it's just not polished enough. Best, Tim
@@the1916companywatchreviews Oh, it is polished. It has wealth of information, great commentary and insights. May be more interaction with a live audience, Q&A type would raise the numbers?
I was asking a friend why are used Rolex watches more than brand new ones, he told me you just about cannot find a new Rolex. Is this true? Why are the used Rolex watches more??
In order to get a brand new Rolex from an authorized dealer, you are put on an extensive waiting list which may be years long to get the popular references. Unless you have a pre existing relationship and purchase history with them that is. Some people choose to circumnavigate the nonsense and will buy a new model 2nd hand on the grey market. The demand is high so the sellers can get away with up charging an arm, a leg, or even a kidney. It’s not only Rolex that is affected by this phenomenon. Good luck getting a Nautilus or Royal Oak on your wrist for MSRP... if you go grey market you won’t have an arm to wear it on 😅 In short, low supply HIGH demand
Hey Tim, just looked at Tom Cruise's Rolex President Day Date, 18karat, in the movie Rain Man... would be great to have a show featuring Rolex in the movies, beyond Bond. No one look. Trivia question: How much did Cruise's character sell his for in the movie in 1988? If you know answer post IK (I know) only, please!
It wasn't Tim, but we did a few videos on this years back. It would be good to revisit again with Tim! ua-cam.com/video/FoWbiatS2Z8/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/hEa5YnFspI0/v-deo.html --Team WatchBox
Is it just me or is there a lot more Rolex content on Watchbox recently? I hope that Watchbox isn’t becoming one of those that are just out for views by limiting to Rolex.
12:40 Omega has a green Seamaster since ‘50s. Hard to say it is a Sub imitator.
Datejust is the face of Rolex globally among none watch enthusiast community.

First!

no worries, the UK will be joined by US on November 8

@@the1916companywatchreviews That would be amazing 🙏
Great vid Tim, but if I wear an Omega with the Silver Snoopy would that qualify as stolen valor?
I don't think so. It's the silver "Snoopy" not the silver star.
Best,
Tim
Submarinum or Platmariner? 😅
The second 👍
Great show, thanks Tim. I didn't catch it live unfortunately; I never was a night owl. As for our Skoda, it's a wreck but who cares as long as you have a nice watch on, right?!
the only Omega Speedmaster I want, and that merits collecting is the "Ed White" version Cal 321 Speedmaster... that movement is drool!!!!
I always look forward to watching the Watchbox every Monday with Tim. 🎃
Do you think the price of the latest Snoopy would keep dropping under $22K so I could grab one. I just live it and its a grail anniversary piece.

Thank you for another wonderful episode for us watch lovers to enjoy.
Thanks Tim & team

Another awesome watch reviews. Thank Tim

Yeah, I would have loved to shoot a Halloween show. A horror movie theme would have been more fun, but who would have watched?
Best,
Tim

It’s too bad that platinum Daytona has a paragraph on the dial
This show is the highlight of my week
Excellent as always!
Wish you’d do these 1-2 hrs later; we on the West Coast could join live. Still wrapping up Mondays at 2.
I´ll take the new ZEITWERK.

If 116710BLNR is called the Batman, I would like to call 116506 Platona as the Mr.Freeze ❄
Unbelievable quality and no prompter. How is this show not watched by 100s of thousands?

They say JLC don't get the attention they deserve. But, in reality, they only get the attention they want.
Bréguet is such an underrated watch brand…
I know someone with that platinum Daytona and I was able to handle his watch - it weighs a ton!
PLATONA! DAMN
What watch is Tim wearing in this video? That dial is so blue
At that price I'd probably go Patek.
Submarinum
Tim I always love to watch your programs because of your deep horological knowledge and way you talk about watches 🙏🙏🙏🙏thank you so much

Hopefully next year Rolex will make a Platmariner \ Subinum the 70th anniversary 🎉
You kept saying 40th anniversary in 2006 for the Patek, yet it was actually 2016! Oops!
What happened to the mask Tim?
Why Rolex did not celebrate the Airking anniversary so far ?
Why the UAE 50th anniversary watches were not much on demand ?
