6 months it's just check n i think filter change is in years or stipulated Liters of water.
Jab filter change karni ki zarurat hogi toh middle wala led starting mein sirf blink karega or it will continue blinking
I don't know the exact details regarding will it blink or will be solid red glow as mine unit is still not serviced.

not a good product the filers are not quality filter and the Leds are also not working properly

Just adjust your tds , all problems will go away
though model is 5.5 litre, I'm getting only 4.8 litre when tank is full not 5.5 litre. why?
