    Mick should never have had to feel out of place in a match. He might have been the hardest working guy in the history of the business. He became one of the most successful wrestlers in history without having the advantages the a lot of the other stars had. He had to work twice as hard, but he did it. I can't imagine that there are too many people then or now that do not have the utmost respect for him. He might have deserved to be ther more than anyone else in that match.

    Mick said he didn't belong in the match...way to little credit for yourself, with all those stars in the ring, mick is who I cared about seeing most, and most that watched the show with me felt the same. There may not be any bigger gem than Foley in the history of pro wrestling. Much love brother.

      The match was good. The only strange thing is how it ended.

    huge fan on how this podcast is presented, how he looks to the side feels more like a real interview as opposed to staring into a camera

      Yeah I've noticed that since the beginning and I think it's done deliberately to make it feel like a interview format. I like it..

    I freaking hated how Mick lost that “I quit” match to Flair.

    • @josheisert8380
      @josheisert8380 2 роки тому +9

      He had an out. He only quit because flair was going to mame the girl, can't remember who it was, with the barbedwire bat. So if he were to lose at least they did it in a way that Foley only did so to protect a woman.

      @@josheisert8380 it was the way that Ric dominated 75% of match leaving Mick defenseless and sobbing “I quit Ric! I quit! I quit! I quit!” only to have Melina betray Mick the next night on RAW by giving him a low blow AfTER he literally kissed Vince’s ass to save her job. Stupid.

      Brock didn't need Mick, as great as it would've been, Brock was a huge hit from day 1, Orton, Edge, HHH, Taker to some extent, Kane and The Rock... all hit new heights after they fought Mick, almost like he was a mythical gatekeeper of some kind.

      Mick Foley did far more for the business than Flair ever did... Foley entertained everyone, Flair's most memorable wrestling matches were his hardcore match with Foley and the match where he finally retired and fucked off. Flair also called Teddy Long an n word during his time in WWE. The guy is a shithead.
