You both mentioned an issue that is relevant and worrying as, not only the young but also veterans find themselves living on the streets whilst migrants are given accommodation, phones, 3 meals a day and access to Doctors and Dentists. Thank you both for highlighting this issue which affects every corner of the UK.
I'm trying to remember the sas man who was at the embassy seige was left homeless 🤔 I'm lucky I have access to my doctor but once I got my pension I have to pay for a dentist and glasses, I could go on a proper rant.
Not Only in the UK.. its a Global happening.. 😕 and it's been going on for years now.. 😒

Am a uk Armed Forces veteran, and there are so many homeless veterans on the street, yet they can't get a roof over them, food, money or a phone etc. I agree with what you say Lee.

There are so many problems within our own country from homelessness to NHS. We need to solve our problems before giving away millions to solve others. Time we thought of ourselves first. Well done Lee and Ange for telling it as you see it

i was homless before i joined the army then again after i left lived in the woods then a minging caravan yet if i got a dingy i would have got a hotel disgusting this country need sorting

I live in a town centre with a lot of rough sleepers. Every single one of them was offered a bed and most refused. My wife often offered them hot drinks and food only to be told 'Cash Only'.

Everytime I see someone like that girl on the street, I wonder what their story is and how they ended up in such a dark place. I volunteered for the Birmingham City Mission back in the 90's and answers for them aren't always simple. But in what's supposed to be a civilised society, we shouldn't have people on the streets, period!

We are supposedly living in a democracy and have the right of free speech. I respect the right of other people to say what they believe in. It's their right. Equally, I have a right to my own opinion and I should be allowed to express it. Just like you Lee and Ange. I believe the migrant issue is totally out of control. There is no legitimate reason for people to cross the channel in small boats from a "safe" country. The numbers of people coming to the UK is unsustainable. Illegal migrants have more rights than British people and that is wrong. I can only imagine what would happen if I turned up with 20 other Brits in a small boat on the beach in Russia asking for asylum and expecting a home, phone, benefits and spending money.

Well said Lee not only the young but our ex armed forces who have put their life on the line for our great country now living in shop doorways etc. let's put our own first, i don't want to seem racist but when you have been paying into our system for all your life and people are just walking into GB and being offered the earth this makes my blood boil.
