Golf R style tail light upgrade installation on the Volkswagon Mk5 Golf GTI

welcome back To Doing It Dodgy, Morris Custom Builds.
In this video, I fix up a pair of aftermarket tail lights, slightly damaged with plastic freight protection film, left on and baked onto the lense.
I then carry out the installation.
Ofcourse there was a midnight run and ofcourse we recorded it! we love the drive!

I’ve just bought these exact lights off ecs tuning and I’m confused because the yellow led strip which I assume is for indicators is on with the brake lights and it’s using my fog and reverse light as indicator lights when I indicate doesn’t make sense I’ve matched all wires together and got it all hooked up please help me

@@coleanderson2337 sounds like you may think you have the wires matched correctly but unfortunately bot mate, the wires send the right signals from the factory loom, you may have to play around a bit, some instructions these days are shocking and misleading 😅

@@jack73ist do you just match the yellow wire with yellow white with white and black with black ?
