Great job my friend! Can you please make a video about transitions (Cymbals, crashes, synths, noises)? It is something I've been struggling to make in Progressive House.
Hi Brenden, hopefully you’ll read this but I stumbled upon your channel and wanted to say what a brilliant professional channel this is. I’ve been producing trance the last couple of years and now moving into progressive house and these tutorials are a goldmine of information. I’m so looking forward to learning from you.
@@DowdenProductionAcademy when you record your automation to a separate track - let's say you play around with synth (track 1) and the cut off to get some interesting sounds you can chop up. The track you record into (armed track 2) is called mud track. So you record mud into it and then pick out best sounds.
@@DowdenProductionAcademy I think it shows my age 😂😂😂😂 I got this from when I used to record stuff with my band in the studio. But it's great if you have an analog synth and record a freestyle session into an ableton track and pick your best bits. Love your stuff btw 👌 taking part in the remix contest too, thanks for all the hard work
Funny thing is, I’ve never seen Ben Bohmers PML tutorial. ;) another funny thing is, he didn’t invent this, it’s been around for a long time, so others are able to find it organically, and lastly, even if I did learn it from another person, I’m not copying it by doing it? If you do it now does that mean you copied it from Ben or me? If you use any of these tips in this video are you copying me? No! Of course not. :) just enjoy making music, mate!
Which songs should I cover next? Comment below!

Great video mate! I’d love to see a breakdown your remix of Space Flow.
33rd remix or Middle earth 🎉
Check out Ellum. Maceo Plex record label. Great and unique sounds. Great videos. Thanks for all this amazing info.
Thank you for your tips! I'd appreciate a breakdown of a track by Emi Galvan. 🙏
SO happy I found your channel! That's exactly the prog house I'm into, I think a lot of more EDM-y type releases get mixed into this definition
Awesome! That's why I always say 'Deep Progressive House' to try and show people it's different.
Yes it's not the hairdresser-y cheddar
That synth sound at 11:00 made me think an army of wasps were coming towards my house.
😂 the compliment I didn't know I needed!
Great video Brenden! I’m looking forward to the remix contest! Thanks!
Thanks mate! Looking forward to hearing your rendition
