If you drive a lot in the city or in heavy traffic, you would love the auto stop start feature. It saves so much fuel that would be wasted while idling.
Glad someone finally mentioned the suspension. I got mine pre owned with 23k miles about 6 months ago. But with some time passed I kept thinking "Damn this suspension is really firm" and I kept doubting if it was normal or not lol. But every review never mentioned the suspension. But yes I feel it pretty stiff lol. It has a smooth ride as long as the road is good, once I hit a bumpy road I can pretty much feel everything unless I'm going 5mph giving it time to gently rollover the bumps lol. Great review thank you
One item the Grand Cherokee should have is the Auto Brake Hold feature. It is a huge convenience at traffic lights in keeping your foot and leg relaxed.
As soon my truck paid off I'm going for the limited how is cooling temperature sensor? Does your cooling temperature go up when you in traffic my 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo coolen temp go up in traffic in summer time and winter from 210 to 229 then sinks down 215
I have a limited x and it doesn’t have the rear heated seats. I think they should be standard on a vehicle that cost that much. My 17 limited 75th anniversary edition had them so you would think the X would.
Idk if there’s truly a “right way” , I have a auto GTI and to shift up gears it’s actually pushing the shifter up rather than down like this jeep. And in my manual Miata it’s down. So I guess it truly varies on manufacturers.
Great review, very comprehensive introduced about the GC, Having the exactly same model and had shaft ticking issue two times else this is a great great SUV in its class. especially good with the natural intake 3.6L pentastar engine sounds.
Not sure, but maybe a mistake @2:33 ? I just bought the exact same vehicle (except I got the Slate Blue) and my window sticker says "LED Tail Lamps" in the Standard Equipment section. lol@6:11 "Chachi feeling", I've never heard that before. :-) I agree though, the 12v outlet cover on my last car was in the same place and I busted it off and didn't even know it.
Great design, modern but somewhat conservative. Safe, has modern technology for passenger safety, infotainment, and convenience. I agree with LeD rear lights but also remember LED are non serviceable so you are replacing the entire assembly instead of a individual bulb. Three cons of my 2020 not dealbreakers of course but note worthy for consideration. 1. Windshield Wipers: The wipers themselves are not the issue but the washer nozzles for the windscreen. The nozzles are a fairy notable protrusion on what is otherwise a clean, sleek and aerodynamic hood design. The fluid also has to overcome that much more distance due to the nozzles being more toward the front of the vehicle. Placing the nozzles a couple of feet closer to the windshield and underneath the hood would get a stream mor centered to the glass and also keep the clean sleek look that the rear of the vehicle tries to maintain. Underneath the hood, In the cowling or even attached to the wiper arms themselves could be a consideration. Lift gate: I don’t like the option of not being able to program different lift heights. Hear me out and those with lower garages or sloped down driveways will understand. With my garage it is not an issue but I would like to have the option to lest say open the lift gate 3/4 travel with the button. This would reduce the risk of scraping the lift gate on garage door and of course scratching. I would have the option to manually raise the lift gate the rest of the way by hand if necessary. Fortunately the JGC is just enough lower than my 2018 Explorer that it isn’t a factor. This could ba a factor in lower parking garages, or lower garage door entries etc..... Lift gate #2: Personally I prefer the older style lift gates with the option of opening just the glass for small items. Enough said! Center Console: When they removed the CD player they had unintended consequences. The CD player was removed due to the more common use of streaming, USB, SiriusXM etc..... CD player was placed back as an option but the redesign had already been designed, approved without the CD player. When they decided to add back in as a $400 ish option the only obvious place was right in the center console. This of course takes up a very major portion of the storage space. The solution is to either life with it or purchase a separate center console storage insert for a vehicle that didn’t have CD player. This of course defeats the purpose of having the CD player in the first place. Mine came as equipped so I didn’t have the option of removing. There are Y/T videos for the swap and not overly complicated. Just remember to keep the CD player stored and safe if you trade in. Both options will give a factory look. I agree with the manual mode and even I missed that. VERY big thumbs DOWN to Engine Stop Start and not just on JGC. I hate it on all vehicles. You control the vehicle not the vehicle controls you. One minor note and I won’t know this for a while. For those owners that purchased the 20” wheel package make a note. Pirelli Scorpion Verde tires. Yes Pirellis are great tires but think about this. Theses are performance tires on a SUV frame/chassis. I will not change them just to change them but as previous reviewers have commented.......”Don’t expect a lot”. These are tires that fit and work but not designed for the platform. Most CDJR SUV platforms have had Goodyear Wranglers and some still to this day. I don’t consider them unsafe but at the same time I will plan for much sooner than normal service life at which they will be swapped to Michelin or Bridgestones. Great review and informative without talking to hear yourself speak!
I just got my car June 10th and I just LOVE IT!! You showed me a few things that I was not aware of...thank you!
Congrats! I’m glad we could be helpful! Enjoy the new car!
I just bought a 2020 limited 38k miles for $25k. I'm loving it so far, great review man 👍
That's awesome, thanks!
Thanks for the review, booked a car few days ago and will enjoy the drive soon.
Great video just bought one picking it up tomorrow thanks so much
Thank you! Best of luck with it!

Makes sense!

Just bought a 2021 Cherokee Latitude Plus I love it
Ok so that is supposed to be 2021 I’m sure you realize that. Lol

Nice review!
I love my jeep grand Cherokee
One item the Grand Cherokee should have is the Auto Brake Hold feature. It is a huge convenience at traffic lights in keeping your foot and leg relaxed.
Agreed with you on that! It’s a nice luxury to have. I believe the track hawks have them so I’m not too sure why the rest don’t.
Love that color! Beautiful vehicle!
Thank you!
🤣 Muy bueno! Me gustó mucho y más los bloopers. BTW, el perro quería dar su opinión
Muchas gracias. Nos gusta tener bloopers a veces para darle más humor
I'm thinking about getting one .The black on black or silver on black
Nice! They’re great cars best of luck
I bought overland last month.
Great job!
Thank you!
Beautiful color
Right!
The car drives but "im not gonna get into that" lol jkn nice review

This isn’t our personal vehicle but I haven’t heard of that happening with this model and year of the Grand Cherokee.
I have a limited x and it doesn’t have the rear heated seats. I think they should be standard on a vehicle that cost that much. My 17 limited 75th anniversary edition had them so you would think the X would.
New word learned: Chochy. 😂😂
Hahahah I always use it 😂
Ratchet Wrenches great review tho! very detailed, I am seriously considering buying one of these after watching
59ersfootball we greatly appreciate that! It is such an amazing car I think you’d be making the right decision! Good luck with your purchase
Ratchet Wrenches update. I bought a 2020 grand Cherokee limited. Thought I’d let you know 😀
59ersfootball congrats!!!
I don’t want a jeep nor will I own one but I enjoyed this video
That sucks mine didn’t come with the led strip just halogen leds
Damn that’s unfortunate, I know there’s some specific packages
The sport mode has the + when you pull down because that’s the “right way” in a manual car 2nd gear in down so I guess they’re used to it.
Idk if there’s truly a “right way” , I have a auto GTI and to shift up gears it’s actually pushing the shifter up rather than down like this jeep. And in my manual Miata it’s down. So I guess it truly varies on manufacturers.
Typically, American automatic column and floor shifters go up from 1st, 2nd, etc. That's the way I shifted my '70 Dodge Challenger when drag racing.
We have the same jeans. Are those vans?
Nick Jones lol nah they’re actually GAP
Ratchet Wrenches well they are nice. I like your style my man 👍🏽😎
Nick Jones appreciate that!

Appreciate your feedback!
Good review. Thinking of getting one in Russia, how does it hold up in cold weather?
Thank you! And it is great in cold weather. The heated steering wheel and seats is a real nice touch
@@RatchetWrenches awesome, thanks for the reply!
Congratulations. for this film. The next edition please in spansih. OK. Thanks, Best regards. Julio Pérez MD. Bolivia
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it. Are there no Spanish subtitles on the video?
My son just bought its nice and lovely vehicle
Agreed! And I wish him luck with his new purchase
He just scaled it down.5 at the end.lol. Nice vehicle though.

Hmm you might be right, we made a mistake. But hahaha I love the word “chachi” best slang for “cheap”! And exactly it’s poor placement
I got my ‘20 GC at the same dealership lol
Nice, Enjoy your new car!
You know what's crazy the Cherokee has more rear leg room
I know right! Maybe from a slightly smaller cargo space / trunk. Not sure exactly

Hermosa camioneta
Nice
Thanks!
I have the 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee limited edition too, but I don’t have the ventilated seats. Is there a setting to turn them on?
For this Cherokee there is only heated seats, no cooling
What happened to the paddle shifters? Do they no longer come like recent models?
I’m not sure what happened to them on all models but I believe the SRTs offer them
The jeep for a tall (6’-7”) driver like me or ridder is way better than Explorer. Especially the driver foot & leg room.
I love it

notification squad where you at?
Appreciate that!
Thumbs up 👍
Lol small car it’s a midsize lol small would be compact size which is renegade / Chevy trax type of suvs
Limited is $46K in Miami
I get 19MPG going 60-70mph on a long highway. You might get 23MPG going downhill with a midget driving and zero cargo.
When are they gonna start having real car guys doing these reviews
What makes you think we’re not “real car guys”
What is that supposed to mean?
Real you are, people geezzz...loved your demonstration, great job!
We just bought our own 2 weeks ago, love it! I had a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited before, 14 years, no problems...
The gravel was too distracting to keep listening to the video. That and mispronounced and misused words.
We didn't notice the gravel issue until after we posted it. We made not sure to do that in anymore videos going forward
