A most enjoyable video, brought back some wonderful memories. I was a Fireman at Mile End and remember working light engine to Belair to get passenger portion of the up Mount Gambier, you showed in video. We,d work that to Adelaide station, later on in the piece was Keswick passgr terminal. Also in clip the Port Stanvac fuel train, worked that too, when at Mile End, as for railcars, I drove them when I transferred to Railcar Depot as Driver in August 1985.
That freight train with the tanks heading down the Noarlunga Line would most probably be heading to the Port Stanvac Refinery just north of Lonsdale station. These trains ceased in the late 1990s.

The 2000 class with it's destination numbers back in the 1980's .... 73A is a Noarlunga Centre service. 71A Tonsley service.
I'm sure all this Jumbo car were all scraped in June 2016 :(
