Johnny Cash was a legendary country music singer, songwriter and musician. My dad loved Johnny Cash (so do I). My dad passed just recently (April 24), so I’m sure he’s already met Johnny in heaven. Rest in peace, Daddy and Johnny.

My dad would play Johnny Cash songs on his guitar when I was growing up. I’d hear him singing em below my room at night b cuz his work room was down there and he’d be practicing. He had a real deep voice too and I have the best memory today of him singin Walk The Line down there as I grew up. I’d get down on my knees by my register and listen to him play at night. He never knew that. He passed away in 2015 but the memory I have of him singing like Johnny Cash and playing the guitar line in this song is one of the best things I will ever remember about him.
