Thanks for streaming this tournament I watched every game. It was a genuine privilege listening to your mother commentating on each one, she really brought it to life. Thank you Mrs Cramling, please do more!
Your mom did a wonderful job with the commentary and I’ve always enjoyed watching the videos you include her in. Keep up the good work Anna and pass on a thank you to your mom for the excellent commentary she did!
It's a blessing to listen to someone who seems happy and filled with positive energy and/or excitement. When she talks super fast and starts laughing it is completely adorable. Very charming and intelligent young woman with a ton of personality. Very thorough explanations as well.
Thank you for this series Anna! I’ve really enjoyed it. I’m sure it was hard enough playing and then having to make videos so thanks for the effort you’ve put in!
Anna please do more tournaments with recaps like this!! I’ve been so excited to watch these every night when I get home from work, it’s so fun to get to see serious classical chess talked through this way. Your storytelling really makes it shine!! Please do more of these, I would love to see a series of Anna traveling to different tournaments!
I really love these game recaps you did for this tournament. I don't know much opening theory et cetera, so most other chess analysises go over my head about what opening names et cetera that the people are playing. Instead you focus on what a certain opening does for the different sides, and I really like that. I also like that you explain every move well and that we also get the drama of how you felt during the game and everything. I have been enjoying these recaps a lot the last couple of days, and I would be very glad to see more of these from more tournaments. Glömde nästan att jag också kan skriva till dig på svenska haha, men nu har jag skrivit klart ändå. Lycka till och ha så kul på nästa turnering!
Awesome GG ! Thanks Anna. I have not played otb for ages but I cant wait to go to the chess club in the city to play otb again. Its your positivity and determination that inspires us. Onwards and upwards all the best especially for the next tournament.
I'm sorry you didn't accomplish what you wanted to, but I was so happy to see your recaps, and I hope your next tournament goes your way. All the best!
I loved watching you compete in the Reykjavik Open and enjoyed Pia's commentary during your games. I kinda just stumbled into the event on Twitch last week and I started watching your games and now here I am learning to play chess!. Big thanks and I hope you continue to play competitive chess.
I love watching your recaps. I wish I could calculate that far ahead! You probably just want to relax after each game but you take the time to share and to teach, so thank you veery much! Great job.
I didn't think I would like the recaps of live games, but I did enjoy them a lot. It helps seeing you mature with every game and also have the goofy love for your mom :)
I’m new to chess but had so much fun watching your enthusiasm in this tournament! Your videos are encouraging new and experienced chess players around the world! Well done!!
Thank you for bringing this content, you and your mom made us learn so much. I loved this little journey and I hope to see more tournaments of yours this year! :)
Anna, thanks for these series, it has been super awesome to watch. You kick asses. I admire how you can analyse the games whichever way they went (no frustration, just great energy). Please join more tournaments, will be cheering for you!
I loved this series. I watched every game and followed your analysis as closely as I could. I've said before that I understand your analysis better than most others. I hope you continue to play OTB tournaments and provide what is becoming your trademark analysis. Thanks so much.
Really enjoyed this series. Clearly you have a strong command of chess analysis, perhaps one of the benefits of streaming so much. You remind me of your friend Johnny, the chess guy in NYC and the enthusiasm he has for sharing what he is thinking in the moment.
I just found this channel on day one of the tournament and I’ve really enjoyed hearing your commentary on your matches after the fact. Looking forward to more professional matches and other content in the near future!
Great job, Anna! I am anxiously awaiting the next tournament that you plan and follow you as you become, yet, another grandmaster within your family! Keep up the good work, and your wonderful positive attitude! You have many people supporting you, including your mother and father, who have raised not only a brilliant child, but a very good person. ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you Anna for sharing your matches. You may not have done as well as you had hoped but I very much enjoyed your recaps. I am learning so much from you. Keep strong and keep going!
20 points of rating nothing to you! This experience is more important than the rating! You did amazing! You should be proud of yourself Anna. Don’t stop playing Tournaments. Loved this Series!!❤❤❤
Thank's for the video - I knew you by reputation (and the sub battle with Blitzstream ☺ :) but since you started back classical chess i subscribed to your channel because these videos are super interesting - it is nice as well that you have a cam to show some key moments on the chess board with your opponent - great ! thank's Anna and all the best for the next tournaments !
For your first tournament back, you did great! It's understandable that round 8 was disappointing, but you fought so hard in that game still. Some solid games and some good learning experiences. Thanks to you and to your mom for all of her commentary. It was really fun to watch you play!
I've really enjoyed your videos during this tournament. They are informative, entertaining and your honesty and humility is really heart warming. Bless you. Oh, and well done for your efforts, as you get in the swing of tournaments again, you'll only get better!
She's talking about which Rook she wanted to move in jest, but then I think she makes a really important point there. Visualising the final position knowing how you want it to be and playing towards that is pretty high level!
Really enjoyable series of games and thanks. I watch a few UA-camrs replaying the games of the super GM's (including at the same tournament) but none of that content has the narrative quality of you playing an over-the-board tournament with all it's highs and lows - and a cool final win.
Anna this series has been awesome, just like you are. I hope tournament organizers are supportive of streamers in their competitions. Watching you as well as Dina, Alex and Eric has been great fun, and super informative at the same time.
I have enjoyed your (and all the streamers) return to classical chess. Being able to see thoughts and analysis of long over the board games, you get to learn alot.
I want to echo a comment I’ve seen on previous recaps. Your analysis is easy to follow and packed full of concepts beginners/intermediates need to familiarize themselves with. Thanks for these and I’m looking forward to future series.
Good series, I think it's both entertaining to watch you review games and how you placed in the tournament itself, but I think it's also really good for newcomers to see how tournaments are carried out etc... Hope to watch you in many more tournaments in the future!
Thank you for the wonderful recap videos and the daily commentary from your mum. Would love to see more of these tournament recaps in the future! Feeling quite inspired to get back into OTB tournament chess myself after watching the Reykjavik Open for the last few days
Good for you, Anna. That makes me happy. I have been getting my but kicked by a 1600 level bot, but most games have been very competitive. I had fun. Thank you so much for sharing! The last game was definitely a good one, but I actually liked the game where you blundered and lost in rather rapidly. From a viewer / learner's perspective, there's value in seeing that kind of loss. Congratulations, and have a safe trip home.

The chess analysis is great, but what really sets your series apart is your description of your mental and emotional state at various times - I was sad here, I was scared here, I was happy here. Many thanks for making these tournament videos.

Great to finish on a win. Sad you didn't achieve your goals for the tournament, but I'm sure you're just settling back into the competition groove. Thanks to you for entertaining recaps, and to your mum for insightful commentary. I look forward to your next challenge.
You're playing good Anna. Reykjavik is very historic when it comes to chess. That's where Bobby Fisher defeated Boris Spaasy in 1972 for the world chess championship.

it was so much fun following your tournament! be less low on time :P
On any other channel it would be super weird to hear the chess player say "My mom said this is a weird move"
Here its just awesome
Great to finish on a win. Sad you didn't achieve your goals for the tournament, but I'm sure you're just settling back into the competition groove.
Thanks to you for entertaining recaps, and to your mum for insightful commentary. I look forward to your next challenge.

Really enjoyed following along with your tournament, Definitely hope you do this again soon.
You're playing good Anna. Reykjavik is very historic when it comes to chess. That's where Bobby Fisher defeated Boris Spaasy in 1972 for the world chess championship.
thats the only reason of reykjavik 'historic' moment LOL
loved this series, thanks for sharing it :)
Anna thank you for these videos! I loved watching them and your attitude is awesome. Genuinely inspiring!
