I want more than just one Samoyed! My absolute fav dog breed and to be honest the most fluffiest and cutest! I want more than one because I have that saying “every dog needs a buddy” and it’s true! I’d be so happy seeing them get along and play, i’m new to this channel and I think Aria is one of the cutest Samoyeds I’ve seen! ❤
IF you really want a Samoyed, I want to make a suggesting for you - join a dog rescue for Samoyeds. There will be one nearby, and then you can foster, and see what a Samoyed is like without committing to having one. They are super cute looking, (and they are), and they have good personalities (in my opinion), but you may find that the personality wanes on you and you will discover that they shed an awful lot and need a LOT of attention and work. I fostered for these dogs, and Huskies, and Border Collies, and Australian Shepherds. I thought I would like all those dogs, and I do, but I don't want a Border Collie - they are too smart for me, seriously. They're very smart dogs, and there's better owners than me for them. Huskies - all they want to do is play, they never want to just cuddle or hang out. Australian Shepherds are high energy, also smart, there's better owners for them than me. The result of me doing rescue, is I found the best most perfect dogs you could imagine. I was perfect for them, and they were perfect for me.
A bit like when you have a Samoyed living in a house and the weather is wet so they have to stay inside the house. They will happily sleep a lot of the day, but are always excited to go out for a short walk and a play. I don't know how they would cope when everyone else has to go out. Maybe a decent walk before would work.
why do you want a samoyed if you live in an apartment? Just want a fluffy white thing, get a pomeranian. Honestly, this creeps me oiut, planning to keep a 60-lb dog in an apartment alone all day, why bother with a living dog?`
