    Me this episode:
    "LETS GO Daenerys"
    "Flee Jaime"
    "YES!!! DROGON!"
    "NO DROGON, Don't kill Jaime"
    "Bronn please don't get killed"
    "Bronn don't shoot drogon"
    "Oh no, Drogon!"
    "Drogon don't kill bronn!"
    "Jaime don't do it"
    "Please don't end it here...."
    What a roller coaster of an episode!

    A lot of Dany haters popped up after this episode. Dany listened to Jon and struck a balance. After burning an opening in the line, she really only burned humans who happened to be standing near the wagons or attacking her directly. Others caught fire in the battle, but her aim was to only use Drogon to torch the supply caravan. Technically, she held back. She's still too arrogant, but not completely obstinate.

    This was the most spectacular episode of GOT to date. One little detail that bothers me is the how the remaining Starks make no mention of Rickon's death at the hands of Ramsay Bolton. He was the baby of the family, and his death wasn't that long ago. Robb, Ned and Catelyn are mentioned, but not one word about Rickon? It just seems a little ... strange. Other than that, great episode, and I hope Arya kills Littlefinger. I'm sick of him sleazing about Winterfell. Great reaction as usual!

  • @crisc1049
    @crisc1049 7 років тому +18

    The Starks also have marriages between uncles and nieces, Ned's parents were first cousins. So if the starks have uncles marrying their nieces why can't Jon and Dany have some fun haha those are medieval times, very different from now so 🤷‍♀️and I agree, It was so frustrating watching Bronn fight against Daenerys. They should be on the same team!

      One, slavery was legal in most of the world in midievil times. Doesn't make it right. Incest is gross. Jon and Daenarys being a couple is disgusting. Bron has no reason to fight for Daenarys and every reason to fight with Jaime.

    I don't get a few comments saying: "She's burning people!" or "countless deaths" or whatever. Like, what did you expect? This is war, and she has dragons. THANK GOD she has chosen people around her that set her straight when she has her mad tendencies, but so far I find this battle strategic and fair. They're soldiers that killed and betrayed the Tyrells. Keep calm and dracarys my people.

    • @smartlikewoah
      @smartlikewoah 7 років тому +14

      This battle was a good decision. She took the advice from Tyrion, Jon, and Olenna and came to a good compromise. It's not like she attacked innocent civilians, she attacked the army lol.

    • @melissakessler4323
      @melissakessler4323 7 років тому +14

      Maria Laura Marion-Landais Exactly. They are at war and she was losing 3-0 , she's lost her allies, most if her fleet , the Unsullied are at CR with no food and people say she went to far by attacking her enemies army with her best weapon . She played the only card she had left , and she won that battle .

      "This is war, Stannis did what he had to do in hopes of winning, too bad it didn't pan out"
      or wait, let me guess.. that wasn't your reaction, right? Even though Stannis was actually helping against the White Walkers by trying to bring down the Boltons and unite the north, while Dany just wants the crown cause "muh bloodline"

    • @MrRjizz
      @MrRjizz 7 років тому

      this whole battle was ridiculous, horses charging spear walls, running through fire, I don't think the screen writers know anything about cavalry or their limitations

    • @adamyoung6797
      @adamyoung6797 6 років тому

      To be fair, the dragon breaks up the line nicely. Then the men can get around the line and it's useless. Also, they aren't just cavalry - they're cavalry archers. They can break down the shield wall without running into it.

  • @Maria26
    @Maria26 7 років тому +5

    It's ok to like Jon and Dany together. Their fandom is massive. Not only it's a fantasy world, but they are fictional character who weren't raised together, who hadn't met each other until now. I'm a book reader and there are lots of hints towards Jon and Dany happening. They parallel each other since day 1. It's the natural progression of the story for them to happen...and it is happening! A blind person could see the tension between those 2. D&D also confirmed after the episode that they both are attracted to each other.
    Anyway, great reaction, as usual. I really enjoy everything you're posting. Keep up the good work my friend ;)

    Jaime is not really Cercei's lapdog. He's doing those things because he wants to, not because she tells him to. They clearly planned the sacking of highgarden and how to pay the iron bank together. They are in this together.

      StormWolf - because the Mad King wanted to kill everyone for the joy of it and he was cruel. Cersei killed everyone in the sept because all her enemies were in the one place at the same time. If they didn't abolish the Trial by Combat, she wouldn't have been backed into a corner where she had to do something drastic to save herself. Jaime would be pissed at her using that method to survive. But he loves her, he'll understand.

    I adore your comments and your reactions so much. Thanks for making my night. Now as for your comments on Jaime. The one thing you have to understand is the nature of the relationship between Jaime and Cersei. It's one of what is called "twinning". It's where those who share a womb have a special relationship and a language. In the books it's said they did have a special language between them. Twins are like that so their closeness, while not something we would normally understand makes perfect sense to them. No one can question it or despise it. While the incest may be hard for us to comprehend, it makes perfect sense to them. I believe there will come a point where Jaime will see Cersei is going too far and will eventually leave. My two favourite characters since the show began have been Robb and Jaime. With Robb gone the last one is Jaime, though Jon is making quite a mark on me.

      I rooted for Jaime, he can fight his own battles, he doesn't need superpowers and inpenetrable plotarmor. It's understandable that they won't kill Daenerys off this soon before she embraces the mad king persona, but they should have let Bronn or Jaime do some real damage. Jaime could throw the spear at her, and when the dragon looked at Jaime, the spear could take out an eye, or something like that.

Or maybe an interesting duel took place there and dothraki had to use some sword lying around to quickly kill the soldier because he was disarmed. We'll never know.

    Unlike Aegon, Daenerys doesn't have 2 siblings to serve as riders for the other dragons to direct their fire. While they can take cues from Drogon to an extent, the risk of "friendly fire" killing her own men is really high if she brought riderless dragons into the mix.

    I'm not entirely sure when all is said and done that ANYONE will be sitting on the Iron Throne. Someone pointed out to me that in Dany's visions while at the House of the Undying that she saw the Iron Throne and it was covered in what appeared to be snow. Maybe it's ash. Maybe Dany comes to her senses and realizes that Westeros is better off without the Iron Throne and just torches the entire city. Or maybe Cersei takes a page or Aegon's book and instead of yielding the Throne she torches the Red Keep like she did the Sept. I could see something like that playing which would play right into the prophecy of her younger brother killing her. The younger brother being Jaimie who has to kill her to once again save Kings Landing from an insane monarch.
    But what if her vision is in fact snow. Perhaps a metaphor for Jon Snow? Jon takes the Throne?
    Interesting.

      could be metaphor about Cersi torching the Keep like she did the Sept in a way to keep Dany from taking the Throne. I'm beginning to think, more and more, that when all is said and done that no one sits on the Throne. In that vision she approaches the Throne, reaches out to it but decides to not touch it or sit on it as she is called away from it. She then passes through darkness and emerges from a tunnel on the other side of the Wall where she enters a tent to find Drogo and their son. Seems to me that the Red Keep is destroyed and she is called North to fight the Night King and perhaps dies.
      This thing could go in so many directions. Dany's visions, Maggie the Witch's prophecy's and Melisandre's visions about the return of Azor Aha -- all three could easily be interpreted to be about Dany or Jon. They are, afterall, both Targaryan's.

  • @blackkatt777
    @blackkatt777 7 років тому

    What Brandon said to little finger was the same thing little finger said to Varys when they had that convo by the throne before little finger left. Peytr was shook, that's why that smug smile wiped off his face. Bran's not tipping his hand because he's not supposed to change the outcome, but he's just going to play his role in what's gonna happen, which is why I think he gave his assassin sister the dagger to use on Peytr later, cuz he knows when and with what she'll do it with.
    Okay, Sansa knew, from little finger himself, that he and Lady Olenna killed Joffrey, she knows he can't be trusted, so why didn't she tell Arya who killed Joffrey, just like she didn't tell Jon about the army reinforcement coming to help them fight the Boltons? He asked her to her face why should he wait when they got nobody else coming to help them? She bitched that it wasn't enough, so he asked her then what solution do you propose? The bitch didn't say a word. Had he'd known she sent for more he would have waited and worked out a better strategy. When he asked her later why she didn't tell him, she said she wasn't sure she could trust Jon. TF is she pulling here?! Now she sees that Arya has a history and kinship with Brienne too, whom she thought she had as muscle. If she's up to little finger tricks to keep the north kingdom for herself, she now knows for sure Bran will see it and maybe Brienne may not be able to protect her from her sister, or won't.
    Even though Dany has a good heart, she may stand down from accepting the throne when she is able to finally take it (maybe a foreshadowing vision of truth she saw at the castle of the undead). Here's why: 2 or 3 things may have to happen within the next 2 episodes. 1. when Tyrion was being told that he needs to speak to Dany about her behavior, because maybe she is starting to act power hungry and a little mad, I believe she may just try to burn Jon with her dragon and he may refuse, or do and Jon won't burn. The reason why I say he may not burn is because of the song Rhaegar used to sing about his child being the reborn promised king. Jon died and was reborn through magic, so therefore he may not burn from dragon's fire, just like Dany. Which also, once proven of his real father, Dany may offer him Rhaegon to ride to the north to help with the white walkers.
    2. The reason I think Dany may decide to rule next to Jon as his council instead of as queen, is because she will feel like he is the rightful heir and that she has a fear of turning into her father, going mad. The Targaryens inbred themselves. Dany is a direct result of that, so was her father, so was Joffrey. Jon has Targaryen blood, but his is mixed with Stark blood as well. In my opinion, he may be the safer choice....Unless they get together, which would blow that theory out the water.
    3. Jon stopped Lord Davos from telling of his actual death and resurrection to everyone. If Drogon tries to burn Jon and can't, and the brotherhood meet up with allies of Dany and Jon, the priest may be able to see it all over Jon that he was reborn again since he's done it so many times. He may verbally call it out when he sees it. That may lead to Dany or anyone who was ever told of Rhaegar's songs of the promised reborn king to put 2+2 together.
    Of course, I'm just taking a natural guess here, but the previews seem to lend themselves to the possibilities. What do you guys think?
    Oh, oh, oh....Okay, what is really grating my cheese right now is, HOW THE FUCK DID THE DOTHROKI ARMY AND HORSES GET TO HIGHGARDEN ON THE SEAS AND EURONS' NAVY WASN'T AROUND TO PROTECT THE LAND'S BOARDERS FROM ATTACK?! Now unless Drogon burned them all down before any could make it onto shore to go report, still....something that enormous and an army that loud not being heard from the shores? Ain't buying it. The writers must be like, "Look we ain't got time for these pesky details, we only got a few episodes left to fuck some shit up, so.....keep it movin'!"

    I have given up on hoping for the satisfying deaths for the characters, so somehow I have the feeling that Cersei will be killed by Euron Greyjoy. She's playing with fire there and perhaps now that Jamie is captured (IF he's captured) Euron will make her marry him, kill her and then... voila, a new king on the Iron Throne. But... she has the Mountain... Ugh, I don't know!

    The other 2 are still at dragonstone. They arent needed. By doing so she respected Jons decision. She did only use 1 dragon, and only to defeat her enemies in an open field free from countless innocent lives, cities and castles. Plus I doubt she will be able to properly control 3 dragons at once. I guess it can also be served as a statement to her enemies. So they will see that she isnt playing when she says she has 3 dragons. 1 dragon caused this much destruction, imagine all 3.

    Also, I hope that those long arrows don't have poison on the arrow head. That means Drogon will die the same way Khal Drogo( whom he's named for) did, from a shoulder infection.
    Cersei had her fortune told when she was a child and the woman told her that she would have 3 kids and they will all die, and that she would die by a brother. I believe it's her twin brother Jaime and not Tyrion. Jaime will have to do it to protect the people, and I think he'll see Dany's people testify of the things she did for them and come to realize that his sister is not what's good. He is a King's guard and must do what's good for the throne, not his sister.

    • @smallsnonya7267

      blackkatt777 well technically he is no longer a kingsguard thanks to tommen, but he is the captain of the lannister army since cersei never gave him that position back (hence the lack of black armor like the mountain) but i do agree about Jaime taking out Cersei. Her using wildfire to destroy the sept was what the mad king planned to do to all of kings landing had he lost, which is why jaime killed him in the first place. The reason why Jaime lot his honor is the same way Cersei took the throne. So either hes going to kill her, or arya is going to steal a face and kill her i thinj

    You're correct...Targaryens were known for their incestuous ways, strictly for keeping the line pure. However, neither of those two know about Jon's parentage. So that rationale really wouldn't apply... it would just be incidental. And I don't believe Jon or Dany are the type of people who would be comfortable with the idea of incest. Besides all that, Jon is a Stark. He will always be a Stark.

      That being said I wonder if the Iron Bank is still going to support Cersei. Now that Dany has destroyed a large part of the Lannister army, with the Dothraki and only one of her dragons, and has taken Casterly Rock.
      Cersei is no longer a sure bet. The Iron Bank has to be second guessing themselves.
