Thank you for sharing your adventure, I have many etrikes and a quad with fat tires. Weight is the real issue, always re-evaluate your cargo.

Wow , you two are legends 🙏🏻 👍, I’ve been a Melbourne boy threatening to get up north to the pointy bit one day (for years), I’m old now so it’s on my bucket list 😊.
Thanks for sharing your adventure with us .
    Stay safe and happy.

Thanks so much for sharing your journey with us. World travellers like yourselves inspire us to reach out and go beyond our cycling comfort zones. We may not travel the world but we certainly can seek out smaller journeys of adventure where bikes and trikes give us an unparalleled view of the world. All the best to you in your future travels.

What a trip! Yeah as others said, a set of 4" fats would have been the go for all that sand and rougher dirt roads. Other than tyres, looks like you have the best of the best trike models! Watched the Jayoe video Azub build- wish I could afford one. I ride a Greenspeed Magnum big wheel which is great and around half the price but no suspension. If I had $10k or more to spend it'd be on a rotovelo carbon or a WAW velomobile and I'd be happy just on the bitumen doing a steady 30- 35kmh.

Well done guys. Where are you heading now?

We are going to explore Hinchinbrook island for a few days on the east coast and then head on our trikes to Alice Springs, all the way from Townsville.

@ mate, consider doing the Plenty Highway, there are less trucks and traffic. It's dirt. I've done it. Do you have room for 4 inch tyres on the front? If so fit them for dirt riding. Put the fatest tyre you can on the rear. Contact me if you want. I have a lot of remote area bicycle touring experience. Good luck.

Definitely. We just made it to Boulia and we are getting ready for the Plenty. Thanks for the tip.

20:00 not to brag but for anyone curious; my fat-trike has 4" tires, I have absolutely no trouble with sand like that.

Most of the Outback is soooooooo desolate.
How did you resupply for food and water???
Also...did you run into any creepy crawlys critters: venomous snakes, spiders or salty's crocs?

Foarte frumos. Voi încerca și eu să găsesc o tricicletă asemănătoare pentru mine. Aici nu au apărut încă, poate voi putea comanda una online!

Looks like a trip to hell for me. Maybe a fat tire bike would work better for that adventure

I meant a fat tire recumbent that my rig right now. I have a power assist motor on it and I’m very happy with it. I plan on getting another trike more set for a road trip with regular tires
