Cesar Muroya created a unique editing format to extract the essence of the game without losing the drama involved. Contextual information is also an innovation appreciated by viewers.
This format is not intended to substitute the full version but make Snooker more accessible to new fans. The fluency and atmosphere of the game stay in a shorter-length video, allowing even experienced fans to enjoy Snooker at any time.

That was awesome to watch! Beautifully done as always Cesar.
what an absurd mutation of snooker
Totally agree pal ☘
Dominic Is such a nice guy!
"Blue Ball Shoot Out" sounds like an xrated gunf ight....
Just discovered, Cesar and I love it. More please!
I'd pay to see Peter Ebdon (slowest) playing Mark Selby (second slowest) in a Snooker Shoot Out
I will get my pillow & fast forward
for a sleep over pigamas & blankets
😂😂
😂ebdon wouldn't pot any
That was fun! I always get a real kick out of the shootout
Great effort by Kenna
Didn't know this was a thing haha Very refreshing
The pacing is perfect for Ronnie, likes potting at a quick rate. But that ding ding ding going off while trying to line up shots would be nerve racking.
I wanted to say that, but you beat me to it.
@@TomJones-tx7pb -I’m sure we aren’t the only ones thinking that.✌️
Wow, it's like a world full of Ronnie's!
youre so goated muroya
That's not for me Cesar! My hearts racing! ha ha ha!
I wish Stevens had won a world championship
Great video, i was hoping you would do another shootout video.
I still think a lot of players don’t use the clock enough. Matthew Stevens could have ran down almost 90 seconds more on that break, when in the balls like that surely run it down as much as possible. A few extra seconds won’t ruin your rythm
Hi ,you pointed out a intresting factor, how do we get through to him?
What did I miss here? At 10:05 he sank the red right?
Nope. Watched it frame by frame. One ball hit the blue and the other one goes below black ball point.
I’ll say the shot-clock introduces an element to the game that I’d prefer to live without. It gives it a very “American” feel. Rushed for no reason. (And, I’m American.) The extra crowd noise was an additional unpleasant surprise. Hate to be the pooper of parties but, in my recent binge watching of Snooker, I’ve finally found something I don’t like. Otherwise, I totally love this game. Thank Cesar, for all the great videos. I don’t want to take anything away from your contribution!
What are the rules on Snooker Shootout?
Get it in the pocket before the time runs out!
@@deltavee2 yeah, from what I see it seems like a basic snooker, but each player has 10s to make each shot and the match has to be done in a certain time, that's it?
At least one ball must hit a rail on each shot (as in pool). There is no miss; all fouls lead to ball-in-hand being played from anywhere on the table.
Am i missing something? Isn’t potting two reds a foul?
nope if you're on reds you can pot multiple on the same shot and they are each worth 1 point
edit: this is true in real snooker as well
@@daaaannk4362 that's what i thought, but how come he only gets awarded 1 point after potting 2 reds?
