I don't know of its a Fort Bragg myth or a fact... but those visiting the operational team D compound, often called the "Red Roof Inn", are said to be required that a burlap sack be placed over your head upon entering until its taken off due to "highly classified and sensitive" .... whatever it may be ... being in sight upon entrance I never visited that place when I was at Bragg, nor have I ever had a reason to, so I don't know of that's just urban myth, or fact. i got to meet and spend time with matt this weekend at preppercon. he's a nice guy, i agree. and he has real bush skills too, his mentor, dave holliday trained him well and dave is a wonderful soul and great human being. my fault with matt is very simple- he sold out his silence on what happened in bolivia with teti, the dogs, cats, crew and their kids, so he could get another tv show, and matt's silence has allowed a monster to commit more crimes and may cost others their lives as 3 men are already dead due to teti's lies and discovery's failures. so, until matt steps up and speaks the truth on bolivia, i hold him personally accountable for all the wrongs teti has done, is doing and will do until the law finally stops teti. that is my humble opinion.

My 4 favorite survival instructors are Cody Lundin, Ron Hood, Les Stroud, and Larry Dean Olsen. People Like Joe Teti and Bear Grylis are just showoffs and wannabes. Also I did like Dave. Despite his "lie" on his resume, he still had solid survival chops.
Joe always tried show dominance over the guys. He wanted to be the Alpha male and even on Matt’s first appearance in season 4, he started tried to bow out his chest toward the guy. What Joe needed was a good ole butt kicking! He wanted to do it his way and no other way. Never really listened to the other guys and if they pushed back in anyway he would whine that it would cost him his life!! Really?!? There’s 10 people around, no one was going to die, let’s be real about it. But all in all, Joe was the type to push other’s button and then when they confronted him with it, he would act innocent and retreat back.

YES- He sued the Special Forces Community & Yes the SF General proved he was a liar. YES- His Lundin sued Discovery for Death Threats to him and the crew. YES- He was allegedly fired for killing dogs and cats on set, then threatening to kill the crew. YES- There is a Lifetime Protective Order against him for stalking & threatening, like on here & worse. Then I noticed lots of attacks from fake profiles and paid trolls, all of them defending teti who was proven in court to be a liar, a forger and fraud as well as a disgraceful soldier by all accounts from his leaders all published in the press. He never served in combat, he never went to SERE school and his conduct in the service was considered by most to be dishonorable and his current activities appear to many to be stolen valor. All of this is publicly published in numerous legitimate news sources and stolen valor blogs dedicated to veracity. So, When I see all the attacks, without cause, without fact, without any notice of the proof and truth of his lies and wrongs, it leads me to believe, these are his fake profiles and paid for trolls trying to attack and distract from his own shame. We proved in court through subpoenas and his own admission under deposition in court, that he did these things and these comments are the same tactics and the same words in many cases. So, it looks like the same smear campaign again. I still have all the records, should we have to visit the courts again. I also noticed that the first comments to appear recently coincide with the time frame teti got his social media page back. And the most recent attacks coincide with the release of his new self-published pulp-fiction novelette that he released to try and use new falsehoods to scam more folks out of their funds. That said, the sight picture looks like he has learned nothing, is a creature of habit, old dog, old tricks and all this is part of his attempt to bully good folks into silence and/or confuse honest people into not knowing what to believe, with one purpose, to keep lying to the public, about military service, for personal profit and gain. Which most consider to be Stolen Valor. I was his Commander, his Employer & got him his first job on a TV set, on a TV show and introduced him to Discovery. All because I believed his lies. When I saw him lie his first minute on TV, I knew there was a problem. He never went to SERE. He never served in combat. He did not have 20 yrs in SOF, he had only 8, all part time, kicked out of 3 units. He did not have 10 yrs of combat, he had 1, only as a contractor, fired from 3 jobs. Then 3 weeks later 3 men died at the beginning of filming his TV show, based on his lies, and he was the producer, star and the "expert" 1 of those men was SF, Father of 5 and my Team Mate for 4 yrs. So, I spoke out. Then we got attacked, in person, on the phone, in the mail and on line. As a result, we got a LIFETIME PROTECTIVE ORDER against him for our entire family and the threats were also to my Wife and Son. It is noteworthy that teti's former Co-Host, CODY LUNDIN, also sued the network for allegedly letting teti threaten to kill him and the crew. Seems interesting that teti's leaders said he threatened people, I said it, and Cody said it. Who's the liar? Then Discovery finally fired him for allegedly slaying dogs and cats on set. And all this is out there for folks who seek truth. But yet, here you are, ignoring any of his disgraceful conduct, and attacking my character without reason, calling me names with no cause and defending teti in an aggressive manner. Why? Are you a fake? Are you a paid troll? Why are you here? How did you manage to find this page, and then single me out for attacks? I have direct knowledge of the facts in this situation, I have good reason to be here. I feel it is my duty to the public and my obligation to my community to speak the truth. And I only speak on his public professional claims, not his personal life. He sinks to dirty, low ball tactics to try and intimidate and bully me into silences. It has never worked, and never will. Each attack is met with truth, proof and facts. So, the more attacks there are, the more the truth of his professional lies to the public will be out there. I think it has to be more than a dog with Joe, because they've killed a lot of animals some necessary and some not, but feels like the dog was the last straw. Glad of it, both Dave and Joe were liars about their resumes, but Dave was better chill with Cody, Joe was too high strong. would like to see Cody do something else though.

As a survivalist myself I can say one thing they keep leaving out the main element. Knowledge to the amateur survivor. There are millions of people who never stepped foot in the woods a day in there life.
Now I never served in the military so I do not know for a fact how they operate behind enemy lines. But I saw small clues on duel survival that indicated to me that this guy is a joke. Like when he and Cody was in South Africa and Joe wanted to race through when there was a chance that there was danger looming behind every bush. Did not seem like text book spec ops protocol to me. Which is why I decided to look into this guy. Don't have to have been in the military to see that this guy is full of crap. Now I know why Cody would laugh historically at him, because he knew he was a joke.
I know nothing of survival outside of what I've seen on tv. But I always felt like Teti was a bit of a fake. I hated when he got added to dual survival. Because he just didn't seem like he knew anything at all. Unlike Dave who i wish they would have kept.

I'm even later to the game than you are hahaha... i remember hearing about all of this when it first surfaced, but at the time there just wasn't a whole lot of information released an available. So I forgot all about it for a long time... that is until recently after searching dirt on the Alaska Bush People - another example of Discovery debauchery.... and that rabbit hole runs very deep, and continues to as we speak. We have yet to reach the bottom of that wild journey But yeah, to hell with anyone who harms animals for fun. It's SICK and shows a level of sociopath and psychosis that I think is consistent with deep rooted weakness and inseurity.

Remember the video where Matt Graham used an atlatl to hut a pig. Joe rushed in and cut the pigs throat. Watch a bit closer to the few seconds after he did the already dyeing pig, it will give you a good idea about his mental state. Yet he was scared to be around a snake. Yeah, I found that very odd myself how he was terrified of snakes and predatory cats... although, there was one episode where he was trying to take out a cobra that was looking him right in the eyes. Cody was trying like hell to get Joe to just leave it alone and keep moving. But Joe wouldn't listen. If I can recall, he finally gave up and moved on. It seems that Joe has no issues with attacking and killing things that can't defend themselves against him, such as that pig. I just learned this recently, but a few years back this woman who ran a Joe Teti exposure group on facebook was attacked one night. I believe it happened at her residence top. But an "unknown assailant" bashed her over the head with a firewood sized log... Who would do such a thing, I wonder???

I liked Dave with Cody and I liked Matt. This show isn't about tactical decisions. It was about being caught up in a precarious situation where normal everyday people would be subjected to making potentially life threatening decisions when things could go wrong. I never did think that Joe's decisions fit the mold at any of the situations the guys were supposed to be living out. Out of all I liked Dave. His ideas contrasted greatly with Cody but they meshed well together. Cody took very few risks, where Dave did. I feel bad for the show to have lost the talent but have always thought Joe was a shit starter and unreasonable as a team member

I have no doubt that Cody is adept at the skills he demonstrates, but he is not superior to any survivalist that I know, nor to the other survivalist on TV or UA-cam, no matter how many times he claims to be. He is unable or unwilling to face some of challenges that could and do happen in a real life survival situation. If you are a man or woman you assume the same risks as your pardner. You certainly don't have your hand out and accept the rewards of things you won't or can't do. When discussing the pro's and con's of what course you should take with your partner, you don't whine and pout or throw a temper tantrum if you don't get your way. In real life someone acting like Cody (even if dressed properly) would never be invited for a second time by anyone I know after spending time camping with someone who acted like Cody did on Dual Survival.

i got to meet and spend time with matt this weekend at preppercon. he's a nice guy, i agree. and he has real bush skills too, his mentor, dave holliday trained him well and dave is a wonderful soul and great human being. my fault with matt is very simple- he sold out his silence on what happened in bolivia with teti, the dogs, cats, crew and their kids, so he could get another tv show, and matt's silence has allowed a monster to commit more crimes and may cost others their lives as 3 men are already dead due to teti's lies and discovery's failures. so, until matt steps up and speaks the truth on bolivia, i hold him personally accountable for all the wrongs teti has done, is doing and will do until the law finally stops teti. that is my humble opinion.

YES- There is a Lifetime Protective Order against him for stalking & threatening, like on here & worse.
The bottom line is that no good person lies this much and no normal person has this much ash and trash following them. The overall facts and history prove this out. Anyone who doesn't see hasn't looked. Anyone defending is lacking in integrity and anyone attacking for speaking truth is likely a thug or a fake, but in either case, they are ugly and a fool, IMHO. Then I noticed lots of attacks from fake profiles and paid trolls, all of them defending teti who was proven in court to be a liar, a forger and fraud as well as a disgraceful soldier by all accounts from his leaders all published in the press.
He never served in combat, he never went to SERE school and his conduct in the service was considered by most to be dishonorable and his current activities appear to many to be stolen valor. All of this is publicly published in numerous legitimate news sources and stolen valor blogs dedicated to veracity.
So, When I see all the attacks, without cause, without fact, without any notice of the proof and truth of his lies and wrongs, it leads me to believe, these are his fake profiles and paid for trolls trying to attack and distract from his own shame.
We proved in court through subpoenas and his own admission under deposition in court, that he did these things and these comments are the same tactics and the same words in many cases. So, it looks like the same smear campaign again.
I still have all the records, should we have to visit the courts again.
I also noticed that the first comments to appear recently coincide with the time frame teti got his social media page back. And the most recent attacks coincide with the release of his new self-published pulp-fiction novelette that he released to try and use new falsehoods to scam more folks out of their funds.
That said, the sight picture looks like he has learned nothing, is a creature of habit, old dog, old tricks and all this is part of his attempt to bully good folks into silence and/or confuse honest people into not knowing what to believe, with one purpose, to keep lying to the public, about military service, for personal profit and gain.
Which most consider to be Stolen Valor.
I was his Commander, his Employer & got him his first job on a TV set, on a TV show and introduced him to Discovery. All because I believed his lies.
When I saw him lie his first minute on TV, I knew there was a problem.
He never went to SERE.
He never served in combat.
He did not have 20 yrs in SOF, he had only 8, all part time, kicked out of 3 units.
He did not have 10 yrs of combat, he had 1, only as a contractor, fired from 3 jobs.
Then 3 weeks later 3 men died at the beginning of filming his TV show,
based on his lies, and he was the producer, star and the "expert"
1 of those men was SF, Father of 5 and my Team Mate for 4 yrs.
So, I spoke out.
Then we got attacked, in person, on the phone, in the mail and on line.
As a result, we got a LIFETIME PROTECTIVE ORDER against him for our entire family and the threats were also to my Wife and Son.
It is noteworthy that teti's former Co-Host, CODY LUNDIN, also sued the network for allegedly letting teti threaten to kill him and the crew. Seems interesting that teti's leaders said he threatened people, I said it, and Cody said it. Who's the liar?
Then Discovery finally fired him for allegedly slaying dogs and cats on set. And all this is out there for folks who seek truth. But yet, here you are, ignoring any of his disgraceful conduct, and attacking my character without reason, calling me names with no cause and defending teti in an aggressive manner. Why?
Are you a fake? Are you a paid troll? Why are you here? How did you manage to find this page, and then single me out for attacks?
I have direct knowledge of the facts in this situation, I have good reason to be here.
I feel it is my duty to the public and my obligation to my community to speak the truth. And I only speak on his public professional claims, not his personal life. Remember the video where Matt Graham used an atlatl to hut a pig. Joe rushed in and cut the pigs throat. Watch a bit closer to the few seconds after he did the already dyeing pig, it will give you a good idea about his mental state. Yet he was scared to be around a snake. Yeah, I found that very odd myself how he was terrified of snakes and predatory cats... although, there was one episode where he was trying to take out a cobra that was looking him right in the eyes. Cody was trying like hell to get Joe to just leave it alone and keep moving. But Joe wouldn't listen. If I can recall, he finally gave up and moved on.

It was about being caught up in a precarious situation where normal everyday people would be subjected to making potentially life threatening decisions when things could go wrong. I never did think that Joe's decisions fit the mold at any of the situations the guys were supposed to be living out. Out of all I liked Dave. His ideas contrasted greatly with Cody but they meshed well together. Cody took very few risks, where Dave did. I feel bad for the show to have lost the talent but have always thought Joe was a shit starter and unreasonable as a team member
That show died when they fired Cody. Now we know why Cody was so stressed out working with Joe. Cody is such a mellow passive guy, but you know what.... He stood his ground. He didn't let Joe push him around. Poor Matt Graham let Joe do whatever he wanted, and how many times did Joe insinuate that Matt was a gay beta male. I couldn't even watch last season.
Matt Graham is INCREDIBLY knowledgeable as well! He knows exactly what he needs to do. Joe tended to be more motivated to signaling the rescue though.
Cody was the only guy on that show that wanted to share body heat with his partners. Cody was the only guy that looked for aphrodisiac plants to slip into his partners food. Cody was the only one who said he had to be careful or he was going to turn his partner on. I don't know any MAN who act's like that. Cody is a joke to straight people, especially when he talks about the “babes”. I bet Cody's gay jokes is an insult to gay people.
I don't miss a grown man who throws temper tantrums, when he doesn't get his way. A grown man who bitches and whines about his partners hunting, and yet he has his hand out to stuff his fat face. He makes friction fire so what, so do Boy Scouts, so do all the other survival guys on TV and UA-cam.
Goodbye and good riddance as far as I am concerned.
I have no doubt that Cody is adept at the skills he demonstrates, but he is not superior to any survivalist that I know, nor to the other survivalist on TV or UA-cam, no matter how many times he claims to be. He is unable or unwilling to face some of challenges that could and do happen in a real life survival situation. If you are a man or woman you assume the same risks as your pardner. You certainly don't have your hand out and accept the rewards of things you won't or can't do. When discussing the pro's and con's of what course you should take with your partner, you don't whine and pout or throw a temper tantrum if you don't get your way. In real life someone acting like Cody (even if dressed properly) would never be invited for a second time by anyone I know after spending time camping with someone who acted like Cody did on Dual Survival.
cody was rightfully unhappy that the producers made him do the legit survival stuff while making teti look like he knew something. cody is good at what he does. teti is a liar and a fraud. the network knows this and is covering for teti so they don't face negligent homicide charges for the 3 deaths that resulted from their gross negligence in hiring teti.

I never liked Joe but is this true? Besides tmz I've seen nothing concrete about this .... And discovery said they cancelled the show before this incident. Can someone please send me a REPUTABLE reputable news report on this....
Good riddance to Dual Survival, not just Teti. The show had turned bland and was a far departure from when Dave and Cody hosted.

wrong- he flat lied about being SERE so he could get hired on DS, his contract hired him specifically as a Survival Expert. I know, i have a copy of it. he lied about survival schools and skills from the military to get a job on tv and profit off that job with other deals and endorsements, too. that is called stolen valor. it is a felony. teti also used forged military documents, to include forged DD-214's, that is also a felony. teti lied about years of combat experience when it was only 1 as a contractor and fired from all 3 jobs, and those lies got him a tv show named after his business, LONE OPERATOR and 3 men died on that show for his lies. some would call that criminal liability for negligent homicide... so, no, normal folks do not lie like that and that's a helluva lot more than fluffing... so, sorry, you're incorrect.
I'd like to see you teach us survival skills.
