We went up Teide (obviously not to the top as it was completely clagged in with fog and was that wind!) the day before the snow came. We managed to catch a glimpse of it from Puerto the following evening. What a beautiful sight with the snow on it. Home now back to the rain!
So glad you went to the Lido today. I could see tiny little people by the main pool on the Valle Mar webcam but they were so far away that I couldn't tell if they were workmen or holidaymakers so thank you for confirming. Looks like it won't be long now until it's open again. If I had my way we would go to the Cafe de Paris every afternoon for tea and cakes, don't go on holiday to diet!
