- Kiel McDonald was hired today as the Chargers new RB coach and he is from Utah and USC. He could bring along Marshawn Lloyd in the 2024 NFL Draft this year or even Zack Moss from the Colts in Free Agency who he coached at Utah.
The Chargers could take Terrion Arnold, Joe Alt, Malik Nabers, Brock Bowers, Rome Odunze, or trade down from the 5th overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. What will Joe Hortiz do for the Chargers?
Jim Harbaugh has talked to Austin Ekeler about signing a new contract in free agency with the Los Angeles Chargers. Derrick Henry, Saquon Barkley, Josh Jacobs, Kareem Hunt, JK Dobbins, and more are available for a lot less, with Corey Linsley restructuring his contract today the Chargers have more money, but will they pay a RB?

I hope Spiller gets a good honest look this year. It's season 3 for him already, we spent a high pick on him (3rd round if I remember correctly) and we've still not seen enough of him to make a solid evaluation. Need to find out if he has the goods and Staley just didn't play him, or if indeed he was just a bust from the get go. Personally, I'm ready to waive goodbye to Ekler. Most of last season he seemed to be putting his own contract woes ahead of the team. It showed in his play, too.
Agreed. Staley had his guys. We will get a good evaluation out of him from Harbough.
4th round. Spiller could definitely benefit from the change but the Harbaugh system might also not fit him. So if he doesnt splash and make a good impression on new staff I wouldnt expect much.
Agreed with this! I know it’s only madden but Spiller is a dawg when I use him in madden. My goodness he’s faster than Ek too and his cuts are nice. Just needs some development

Marshawn Lloyd has 10 fumbles in just a little over 300 carries. Most by any RB in the draft, I’m all the way out on him lol.

No mention of Blake Corum? Certainly, a Jim Harbaugh guy.
Definitely, but depending on what happens in the first two rounds, Corum might not be there when we wanna pick him. There are some intriguing prospects in the RB class that you can get in Round 4-6. The Wisconsin guy, the Notre Dame guy, the USC guy. Will Shipley from Clemson.
I've mentioned him a lot in my videos but Blake Corum has no connection to the RB coach, only to Harbaugh. Lots of good RB options and he is one of them tho! ⚡
The "Wisconsin, Notre Dame, Clemson" guys are all in the mix for top 5 RBs, likely gone by day 3. This USC RB may be in play though
@@losc.1587 I'm not so sure about that. There's so much depth at other positions that it's possible everyone outside of the obvious top 2 might slip a bit from people snapping up DBs, receivers, and d-line guys in rounds 2-3.

Our running game is actually gonna be good thats crazy. Might even have 2 1000 yard rushers. Maybe Herbert himself will run for 500.

Pass blocking was atrocious let’s be real. Your bias is showing Marshawn Lloyd clearly ain’t a Harbaugh RB.
He can pass block but it's inconsistent. Lots of RBs can't do it at all so that's why I was saying he can at least do it sometimes haha 😂
@@Michael_Maclane he actually can’t pass block. It’s one of the BIGGEST REASONS HE COULDNT TAKE OVER THAT USC BACKFIELD. He also leads all RBs in the draft class with fumbles with less then half the average amount of carries. He’s seriously a horrible back. I wouldn’t even use a 7th round on him. Chargers already had a 5’9 back with fumbling problems, don’t need another one.
