The Marine Band’s 2020 summer concert series included a brass quartet-consisting of two cornets, tenor horn, and euphonium-which featured dazzling technique, beautiful melodies, and lush tone colors common to the British brass band style popular in Europe and the UK. The program includes original works for brass quartet as well as arrangements such as Karl L. King’s circus march, “The Melody Shop,” and Herman Bellstedt’s Napoli.
