I always liked watching PFR and was always amazed at the ingenuity of farmers. My cousin who are farmers say when they needed a piece of equipment that they didn`t have or couldn`t afford they usually after some throwing around ideas came up with something. I`ve done similar things in the carpentry game. My old journeyman used to say ``If you don`t learn something new everyday ,then it`s a day wasted.`` RIP Doug.... you taught me well.
We had that exact Swather. The door handle on these fail...leaving you trapped inside. Of course you always have a hammer in a cardboard box with your header parts you just picked up at Case Ih because you can't find a Versatile dealer...so what do you do? Love these videos.
Thought about putting an 18ft combine header on my 4750 (feed auger would gnarl it up a bit) but ended up getting into an HW340 with a 16ft disc, never looked back. hahaha
I'm not in farming but I really enjoy these videos.
Same here. Been watching the PFR since I was a teenager. Lots of cool stuff on here.
