Greetings Ron! Great and timely video, at least for me! I will be taking my first RCL cruise on Dec 1. Going to double check my RCL app to see if I have done the things you have suggested. Also, I was able to order my "All Who Wander..." door poster! At the time I ordered, the owner was on vacation with her family (understandably so!) so I will not have the poster for this cruise but I should have it in time for an upcoming cruise in January.

Advantage on the app: With app you can snag an arrival time even if all information is not complete.

Hello. Stumbled upon your video & just curious: when doing the onboard expense account, you HAVE to select a credit or debit card? You can't use a cash account?

They want a credit or debit card on file, but you can add cash to your account once on board.
We normally recommend using a credit card- even if you use cash. Mainly because the cruise lines put a hood on cash in your bank account if you use a debit card.

I was waiting to see luggage tags
When you print your documents, there is actually a link when they open on your computer to click for luggage
Can i show up to the terminal way earlier my arrival time and be on the ship before it?
You can try it, but they say not to show up before your scheduled arrival time.
Sometimes it works, sometimes not.
Dumb question maybe. What happens if you show up AFTER your arrival time? Late flight, transportation issue, etc. How strict are they about that?

Hi Sir. I also did the online check in via app. like in the video, my only pending is the health status check. will the edocs be issued after completing this pending item? I havent received my edocs yet. only one I got is the booking confirmation/online itinerary pdf thru email. Thanks in advance!
I don’t remember how early it shows it up, but it is always available with plenty of time

1. Is the arrival time the time of the ship or the local time where the pier is located?
2. When are they going to send the luggage tags that we passengers are required to print out? According to guides I watched, Royal Caribbean will send the documents after checking in. I've done all those things but I haven't yet received those printable luggage tags.

Hi there, thanks for watching out video.
1. Usually the ship's time stays the same as the home port. (For example, if you depart from Miami, you'll likely stay on Miami time for the whole cruise)
2. Your luggage tags will be with your printable documents. You should be able to see these in the same place that you check in for your cruise on the app or website
Do you know if they'll let you on earlier than my wellness check appointment time? We have an infant and need to be on earlier than our 2pm appointment.
That so hard to say. You could show up early and ask or contact Royal Caribbean ahead of time and tell them what’s going on.
To be honest, we really don’t know.
Can I lock-in my Arrival time first, and enter in my Travel Info/Credit Card on another day? Also, if I select an arrival time, does it apply to all passengers in my stateroom automatically?
I believe you can lick in your time, but I’m not sure about it automatically applying to the rest of your stateroom.
That said, they’re tied to your booking, and I think you can do the arrival time for them.
Where do you find luggage tags on the app?
I always print them from the website.
The luggage tags are on the last page of your “edocs”.
So I took my security photo with my glasses on like you did. Did they make you re-due it without your glasses on?
They didn’t make me redo it. Did you have a problem?
@FunTimeTravel I haven't gone yet I called RC they said if there's no glare from the glasses it's fine so I'm leaving it I guess. I did have a problem with the app it was down when I went to check in so I lost the 10:30 time and got 11am because you have to put Everything in before you get to pick a time. O well
If I am doing check in early and my family isn't up yet, do I need to take a picture of them too or can it wait? How do you know when you are done with the boarding check in? Does it say? Oh and what about luggage tags? Can you print those out from the app?
If I recall, you can set their checkin times and do the rest later

I think I printed my luggage tags from my laptop.
I suspect that you might be able to print them from your app, but my phone and printer don’t play nice

How does the photo work with other passengers in your room? Can I take the kids pictures in advance and just upload vs taking a photo right then and there? Not interested in waking them up to do check-in 😂

You should be able to find that on your dashboard
It only pops up once you’ve completed the rest of your check in process
We are 2 people on the cruise do we have to do 2 Check in
Both people need to check in for the cruise.

I believe you do, but I can’t remember.
I don’t think we had any issues as a result of consent.
