They shouldn't be struggling at all. They've pushed the genre and music in general forward and inspired more people that I could imagine. The day that this band ceases to exist will be a very sad day.
This guys are the best in the metal modern scene IMO. They've contributed so many good things to the genre. They have been nominated for the Grammy Awards and even a fucking fossil was named after them. This guys deserve this and more.
I also have to give Paul props for how he treated the Arsonist question. The way he avoided to say "our troops" and instead mentioned the children was both smart and right. I like Paul, he's a really bright guy.
Tommy puts more than you know into their albums. He is the force of BTBAM, Paul is the supporting actor. They are all equals tho, nothing can be gained without the support of ur peers. Except Tommy Rogers or Paul Wagggoner Dusty is probably as good as Paul, I like him a lot and Dan is best bass player I ever heard. Blake, well, fuck, I am pissed off I never got his autograph, he is the best drummer I have ever heard and I heard a lot
Do they not refer to themselves as "bitbam" internally? That's what my friends and I always called them.. rather than saying their long long name every time.
What I think is great about this interview is that they are true to their roots. However they shoild embrace their older work. Witoit the older shit they wouldn't be where they are now
you can answer them with "what influenced you to interview us. For that matter why are you an interviewer? What inspired you? Was it Princess Diana or Kurt Cobain, or did u have no other skills but to talk into a phallic object?"

+1 seen them last week and they opened with alaska the end.
10 years later and they still kick fucking ass. Here's to 10 more!
looking back, this really is a fucking killer interview. kudos to superskum
Oz fest 06 made me go buy Alaska
Blake could be thor...
The biggest take away point from this video for me: They aren't tired of what they're doing yet
silent circuit was also kind of storyline-ish, most of the songs were about dreaming if i'm not mistaken
I've never seen so many vids with zero dislikes, BTBAM is universally praised and they deserve every bit of it.
teelos lol
Hearing Paul refer to Arsonist as old and shitty was pretty tough to hear.
interviewing between the buried and me by the trash cans.
12:48 No, he's not kidding. He is not, kidding.
1:21 I couldnt hear what Blake was saying for I could only bask in his beauty
paul and blake are gods
I also have to give Paul props for how he treated the Arsonist question. The way he avoided to say "our troops" and instead mentioned the children was both smart and right. I like Paul, he's a really bright guy.
Thank you Ozzfest '06, for inspiring BTBAM to write the epic that is White Walls.
I think Dan and Tommy put a lot into it too. You can really here it in their solo projects.
What he said.
Great interview, you can see they enjoyed it too
I can't wait til paul waggoner is old as shit and has grey ass long hair...that will be sweet
As of 2019 he has now cut his hair 😂 let's hope he let's it grow again.
@@BTBAM819he traded his hair with Tommy. Now Tommy has long hair and Paul has short and they both still look amazing.
awesome interview... finally an interviewer that asks decent questions. :D
Dustie is wearing a Converge shirt at the beginning of the video....awesome.
Third comment on this video, but I had to just point out how epic Blake's comment was about Arsonist.

Make a documentary!!!!
"he's right, we don't play the song anymore, but that's mostly because it's old and shitty." lmfao
So down to earth, and so talented at the same time.
Paul is a genius
BLAKES BROTHER MADE THAT VIDEO?! Oh wow it is so fantastic. And they better do more concept albums. It's so good
Blake's more talented brother*
Love these guys!
"Between This And The Great Misdirect"
Great interview
Pretty informative
What is the first song?
Probably not, but it still serves the purpose of signaling who's turn it is to speak so they don't all end up talking at the same time.
that bear is ....
Do they not refer to themselves as "bitbam" internally? That's what my friends and I always called them.. rather than saying their long long name every time.
Both of them look as though they didn't get any sleep the night before. Poor dudes.
What I think is great about this interview is that they are true to their roots. However they shoild embrace their older work. Witoit the older shit they wouldn't be where they are now
I'd say a lot of them can be answered like "I'm Batman" or "Because I'm Batman".
I get the feeling the mic he holds doesn't do anything since I hear no change in volume when he moves it...?
you can answer them with "what influenced you to interview us. For that matter why are you an interviewer? What inspired you? Was it Princess Diana or Kurt Cobain, or did u have no other skills but to talk into a phallic object?"
all my money all my money to you
come do a show in portugal!
obfuscation.
Thanks man
Damn Blake is such an OX
Opening song?
Man these guys aged fast
Weird, i swear colors is like a storyline of music. hard to listen to just 1 song
No Blake is not high. Not at all.
