    Hi Dmitri, I wanted to tell you that you are the one who made me discover ASMR, as I did not know what it was before, and searched for massage videos to relax, and one blessed day i came accross your channel and you opened a whole new world to me, incredible videos and amazing artists who have helped me to get through some very bad moments of my life, and it's all thanks to you. That was a long time ago, at the first year or so of your channel. You have all my gratitude for the work and effort you put into it and the amazing quality of your content. I'm happy you decided to come back and keep doing this, as you do it best. You truly are the daddy of ASMR , thanks for all of it.
    Edit: Holly mamma, there is the white balance card in here, my favorite Item! (your imitated sound of rain put to sleep more times than i can count) Tonight will be an easy night to fall asleep, Thanks Dmitri!

    I feel like what you said about sounds and society is so true. I've lately become much more aware of the...bombardment or anarchy of sound that we encounter on a daily basis. Taking a moment to enjoy asmr or even just enjoying peace and quiet in my own home really helps me feel calm and content nowadays.

    You nailed it with that intro, my man. You'll always be the King of ASMR to me. Not only because you showed me what it was, but also because you're the literal best at this craft and no video you've made has gone past my radar since I've subbed.

    Most underrated objects from Dmitri are the Clean Canteen with water moving creating different sounds and the most OP object was that cylindrical container that held printer ink and Dmitri would tap the top with the massage sticks. That object got me through the HSC. Never forget. Dmitri is the king.

    The heartbeat of a mother carrying her baby in her stomach is the first asmr
    Even the whispering , the deep sound of voices , the scratching , the crinkling .. every sound we've heard inside the belly
    I think ASMR experience and the feeling of peace and joy , the sensation of security came from the remembrance of this moment in our life

    • @Eagles_Eye
      @Eagles_Eye 7 років тому +40

      Seelverado tbh i hope No baby is ever gonna be carried in a stomach, acid doesnt seem like a nice thing to swim in

    • @dontcallmepeanut
      @dontcallmepeanut 7 років тому +2

      Seelverado No. It's a defensive reaction that humans don't use anymore, due to having little to no hair. Cats use it for intimidation to look larger by lifting their hair. This is the same sensation for them that ASMR is for us. Humans have just utilized it in a reproductive way; via relaxation, etc. Your peculiar theory is cute, though.

    This starts out with the best explanation of asmr I can imagine. Dmitri...first asmr I ever heard...still the greatest of all time. ''In the chaos of this world..its so chaotic...all of the sounds just bombarding our senses...here we can come somewhere quiet and allow people like myself to lead you down that path of what it is that is beneficial to us. Very simple things. Very simple things...is all we need. Just these sounds''. Beautiful

    I liked that introduction as I'm always appreciate food for thought. Its funny you bring up medicine and sound because when I'm sick or in pain I tend to view more ASMR videos. Its not a voluntary thing where I say: I feel like hell I'm going to watch one to feel better, I just gravitate. I've never thought about the healing capabilities of sound consciously. Certainly something I kept in mind while I watched this video.

    Greetings Dr.D from Ireland. I've been listening to your videos for over a year now to help me relax. I suffer from anxiety and depression on and off. Sometimes I get tingles and sometimes I don't. But either way, your voice always has a calming affect on me, that helps me bring the focus away from my thoughts and ease the tension from parts of my body. I also appreciate alot of the stuff you talk about in regards to mental well being and over all health. Sincerely thank you for making these videos and sharing your gift of ASMR. P.S Would love you to do a new video with the exfoliation gloves.

    On a side note i love how human and empathetic you come across in all your videos, its one of the reasons i subbed to you for

    I resonated to what you said in your intro, I believe as we are made of energy and sound is a pure form of energy the link is intricate to our core nurturing mechanism. Just as a baby within its mothers womb is comforted by the resonated vibrations of its mothers voice, I believe the root of ASMR is a link to an identifiable connection to our life's beginnings, starting right back to when we began our life force within the womb.
    In addition, as children often daydream this to is triggered via sounds or visuals, I believe our processing of these things assist in that connection with all things that universally link us to the fact we are spiritual energy.. Chi..
    ✨Life is Magical✨
    I really enjoyed this video thank you🙏 for your gorgeous voice which has a fantastic natural calming reverb which seems to relax me immediately.
