Just back Visitors from the Arkana Galaxy!
Nice! Spread the word!
Another great conversation with these guys. Sign me up for that Solomon King soundtrack.
Same here!
Loved this interview. Deaf Crocodile is my favorite partner label by a landslide.
They’re pretty fantastic! Can’t argue that.
Thank you so much!
Oh God, it sounds like Felidae is finally getting a U.S. release. I'm so pumped!
Here’s hoping!
This is what I gathered from the first few minutes of the interview. Felidae fits with all the hints and descriptions they gave.
Really great interview! I'm excited to see/get in Visitors/Arkana. The special slip has great artwork, plus supporting what they are doing is a no brainer!
Agreed on both fronts!
@@TheDiscConnected I've known Brian Level for a long while now - years before we started Deaf Crocodile. I used to help him with his art sales for a number of years. I quickly described an idea for a Deaf Crocodile logo and he magically turned exactly what I had in mind into reality. He handled ALL of the artwork for our new PIED PIPER release (other than the KS exclusive from Dave McKean obviously), but he did the OCN slipcover, the standard edition, the booklet art, even the disc itself. He's fantastic.
@@deafcrocodile REALLY great artist! Love it!
Love these interviews! I wonder if the mystery "deranged Don Bluth" movie they're teasing is Felidae... 🤔
Either way… I’m here for it!
@@TheDiscConnected Definitely! I'm all kinds of intrigued.
Such a great label, through and through. Would love to see them get a hold of Karel Kachyňa’s adaptation of The Little Mermaid from 1976. It would fit so perfectly with Craig & Dennis. Thank you for the great video!
That would be incredible! Thanks for watching!
1:05:08 you know I've always wondered how these companies are pumping out box sets so fast! Although most of the transfer & restorations ain't always the best either!
A LOT of those are licensed from other companies. That and some of them are literally taking YEARS to complete.
That's just crazy when he said he could spend 3 hours on a 1 minute clip of the movie! Great to see my name in the credits😂
@@movie_av_impulse they really do. Some of these restorations take an entire day for a fraction of a clip.
@@TheDiscConnected completely mind blowing this is why interviews like this are so important. Movie lovers like ourselves can really take the time to appreciate the hard work and effort these guys put in!
@@movie_av_impulse EXACTLY what I’m trying to do!
What is this animation film they're talking about at the beginning?
Unfortunately… I don’t think we know for sure yet. I hope it’s coming out soon!
Wonder if they will ever do Sadko (1953)?
That’s a great question! I know they check the comments here so maybe they can respond.
@@TheDiscConnected The Ptushko films come directly from Mosfilm. We're hoping to release more, but it depends on what their restoration/preservation schedule is.
Oh yeah! Gonna save this!
Enjoy, my friend!
I love Deaf Crocodile! I’ll need to back Visitors from the Arkana Galaxy. It sounds/looks amazing.
It really does!
I hope we're not "dead" yet!
@@deafcrocodile never!
@@deafcrocodile Arg! My co-workers know me for my notorious typos. Fixed!
And also, you're not dead by a long shot. The films you choose to restore are nothing short of amazing. Your content is top notch.
Great interview! Deaf Crocodile is putting out such exciting stuff.
And they are all brand new for basically everyone. Love that discovery aspect.
great interview as always ryan. love their label. sad i missed some of their titles in the past. i picked up pied piper last week.
They have been stupendous! So glad you enjoyed this :)
