Or is it so that it has been the plan the whole time that DLC won't be coming in year 6 and it has been there just as a bait. If all the things are like they have told us and everything was ready for that DLC but just the quality (and maybe timing) reasons they decided to delay I'm really interested to see how they are going to build this "extension" for the story without DLC. If the story quality is as good (not really good but the level)as we've previous seasons it is obvious that they didn't even have DLC coming.

This just makes me really wonder when we will get the DLC if we even will get it but it is really nice that they shortened the season sense they are moving the DLC back but my real question is what is the next season going to be like considering the DLC was supposed to come out also why they shortened the season too, maybe it was for time or because they were going to release it this season at least that’s what I think.
For me it looks really strange that they've shortened a season. Usually when you need to do a big change for your development plans/roadmap like now the dealy for DLC it means you need some more time to adjust all the things and set up the roadmap again. Now they do just the opposite and even @roguegold stepped into that trap and buys the idea that "of course new season comes earlier cause there isn't that new DLC and it is less work" when the reality is that this should cause more work as change of plans always do. OR then it is the case that this has been already decided to go like this loooong time ago. And that again leads to severe trust and communication issues between devs and the community.

So a friend of mine and I came back to the game after like 4 or 5 years. We decided to start fresh on pc and spent $30 on the pass, which said we had 9 weeks and now we have like 2 weeks?! These journey objects are not going to get finished in time and I kinda feel screwed now.
Dcd headquarters mission guarantees a chunga then just have the two adds kill you to respawn to the checkpoint it's boring on normal tho if you get a full squad you (apparently get two chunga spawns)

I could not run Reanimated and mods at the same time in the last event. If you put one on the other was disabled automatically. At least it did that for me on PC. I suspect it will be similar with GB.
Yes, this is why RG recommended it as a possible Alternative to modifiers, not running them both. Devs have said they won’t allow them to stack (modifiers and Events) because they already give SO much player power and can individually trivialize much of the game, so stacked would be exponentially worse.

it is around for the duration of these season. New season starts a new pass/journey. You switch between global events and the current season, not from season 1 to 2 and back and forth.

I guess people here do not understand finance and how reality works. Ubisoft is past the point of no return. Even if Shadows sells millions it will not dig Ubi out of their hole. One of two things is guaranteed. Ubi will be sold or go bankrupt. The only reason they arent truthful is because Ubi doesn’t want to lose anymore value on their properties to get the best deal.

@@RogueGold We can hope, still that's 5 months away, super long for "quality" on a dlc smaller than wony that's been in the works for 2 years. Realistically they can reuse a ton of textures from wony so that would take a huge workload off and nobody would notice
and not going to, they already said they dropped the 5th slot with the backlash over seasons. They are still trying to free up server space for stash expansion or alternative stash like having the stash box in the DLC separate. But nothing is promised. I say open up the library system so we can delete items then recreate that exact item later. but i don't know coding, might take up the same amount of space.

Its a paid item on steam and if i remember correctly they changed their tos last year to protect consumers from companies that did not honor everything in the content they sold. Again dont know the exact details of the changes steam made or if they even went into effect.
I just picked up this game again a few weeks ago after not playing since launch, partially because of the new DLC, and I'm disappointed to see the direction it's going. I wish they could have a larger team dedicated solely to the division and not pick them away to work on other projects before going back to it like it's just some side project. It could probably be a decent cash cow if they put more effort into it and garnered more support from the fanbase instead of ruining their reputations by pushing shit off or going silent on spinoffs. Somebody like me who never spends money on outfits or skins doesn't give a shit if they add more cosmetics to the game I want to spend money on new areas to explore and things to do.
My guy you can't pair Master difficulty with global directives otherwise we could've paired the 5x event with re-animated and global modifications and I tried that. Once I activated my re-animated it turned off all new added modifiers.

Alright, so here's the burning question then. If the DLC is postponed indefinitely, what are we doing in upcoming seasons? I understand the Keener story was supposed to move forward inside Brooklyn, so, what now? Do they just hastily put everything inside D.C. now?
