@@bcgazero6472probably the fall of the gods. Maybe a recall to Poseidon's "No matter how many gods fall, there will always be another to stand against you."
The reason this theme is more affiliated with Odin in a way is because Odin looms over Thor like a shadow the entirety of the story. Odin has control over Thor as if he were a puppet he could use to his whim because he is fearful of stepping up to his father, therefore naming the song “the hand of Odin”
Knowing the lyrics this changes the whole song from an epic, intimidating march to the theme of one scrambling to avoid his fate. Bear McCreary is a damn genius
I like to think that the reason Thor's theme has the same lyrics as Odin's is because it's not really Thor's theme. The game implied several times that Thor lacks an identity, only what his father and others calls him, a monster and a destroyer, that would explain why Thor's theme sounds like a savage and ruthless Odin's theme, he's the number 1 executioner of the All Father. Even the melody is similar
@@nombrerandom4642Ironically, the crater part of the first battle is where Thor's theme really is, it tells about Thor's vengeance, his cruel raising by Odin, and his fear of war (since it meant the end of his home and family).
This is a great video, thank you! Can you translate the theme of the All-Father? Even if it is not accurate, but I really want to know what is being sung there.
seems to be icelandic, considering the pronounciation, (e.g æ = ai), the use of ö, lack of ǫ/á & ø, the a-u diphthong sounding different/compressed to á, and words ending in -ur rather than just -r
"The fearless will know fear" Bro is like talking to Kratos about his fears, his past and his son
I guess "mightiest will fall" would refer to thor then

@@ArmoredG well, considering thor is basically kratos' norse counterpart,i'd say it fits

I know many of the lyrics are the same but I’d love a video like this for The Hammer of Thor and/or The Allfather
Someone already translated the allfather but I haven’t seen anyone translate hammer of thor unfortunately
@nickdauguste7450 For "The Hammer of Thor" the lyrics are the same as this song, just sung differently to be more energetic.
It's ragnarökin time.
Then he all fathered all over everyone. Chills
Such a manly Epic soundtrack for a soft Grandpa.
It's about Thor. Thor is the hand of Odin, and the lyrics here are reused in The Hammer of Thor.
The lyrics are more about Odin and his fears of Ragnarök though
Also the composer played this theme when he was talking about Odin's theme
@@Omashu2425Odin had more than Thor as his hand. Like Baldur, Heimdall, Magni, Modi, etc.

Richard Schiff really got that scheming look in his eye.
Will you do the hammer of thor?
I think it has the same lyrics
Most of the lyrics are the same, Thor theme adds "bane of Jotnar" and some others i didnt translate yet

It's more accurate to say that Odin's theme overshadows Thor's.
