I’ve had a hard time deciding where I want to live and what I want to do with my life and it’s caused me to sort of freeze and almost do nothing out of being afraid to make the wrong move. I let the fact that my friends seem to have that all figured out affect me more than it should. Comparing yourself to others, especially after looking at social media is so bad for your mental health. I’ve gotten so hung up on the fact that I moved back home as an adult and in reality, I should be grateful that I even had that option and that I’ve been able to spend the time with my family. I got to spend time with my dad before he passed away and I never would’ve gotten that time with him if I hadn’t moved home. This goes to anyone reading this- it doesn’t matter what age you are, as long as you’re still breathing, you have a chance to change your life for the better. People think you have to do this in your 20s or figure everything out then and it isn’t true. That’s the biggest thing I’ve learned. Don’t let other people who don’t matter affect how you feel about yourself. Things happen for different people at different times. Maybe it takes you longer to figure it out but it doesn’t make you any less of a person. Nothing frustrates me more than seeing people define everything by age and tell you where you’re supposed to be by a certain time. Humans aren’t one size fits all. We end up where we’re supposed to be when we’re ready.
chloe you inspired me so much! im a dancer and i did ballet most of my life, but thanks to you, i accomplished my dream and tried out jazz, lyrical, etc. I never thought I was good enough, but thanks to you, I worked as hard as I could- guess what?! now I'm on a dance team!!
Chloe, you are wise beyond your years and incredibly poised. Your parents did a wonderful job especially given you had such an unconventional childhood. Take your time sweet girl, 23 is so so young! I went through a break up at age 20 and I was single for three and a half years afterwards and it was such an amazing feeling how I healed and was so happy and comfortable by myself. It has also made me take my time with my current relationship and has made it that much better. Good for you Chloe!!

I’ve attempted sui*de 3x bc of the losses etc. i had cancer treatment they promised me would not affect my eggs at 29….that’s all they can think of that ruined my eggs. 29 years of schooling, 11 years debating having kids….I would do anything for my 1 miracle and be able to afford my second cycle of IVF. So crazy seeing you at 23!!! I haven’t seen you online since Dance Moms. Am from Pittsburgh and was older so I didn’t watch it religiously but I did catch some of it. My advice is to do the things you really want before kids bc you want to be able to devote your entire life to them…but I don’t think anyone ever feels “ready.” I would tell people not to wait too long. I so regret listening to people telling me at 26-33 to wait, stay on the pill, I’d have plenty of time…. Nothing was further from the truth. For now my 2 year old pup I’ve raised alone since 8 weeks keeps me here. Also YESSS DO THE MARATHON!!!! I did Pittsburgh and Erie marathons and did the Pittsburgh half maybe 7 times. My back and knees are too bad now but man I used to love running. Even 5am through Frick park, 10pm…ahhhhh I need to find something else. I used to mountain bike through frick. Tennis too!!! I lived tennis through high school. It was my life. I got out of school early for it and played constant tournaments…ended up playing college tennis.
Having lived in different places in my younger years, I moved back to my hometown and couldn't be happier. There's nothing better than being close to your family, friends, roots.

I wish I would’ve started in my 20’s bc I wouldn’t have had to deal w all the infertility and miscarriages in my 30’s. Am alone now but 29 years of schooling, 11 years debating when I wanted to start trying and 12 years of therapy so that my baby won’t be affected by my childhood abuse put me in a position where I love every second of being a mom. So much better to be up w a crying baby than up crying bc I lost one. But when I had loss after loss and couldn’t pay for Ivf without raising money, I tried to end my life 3x and could have knocked every single person out that told me to “enjoy my 20’s, I had plenty of time, not yet…” Here I’m expected based on my AMH, FSH and AFC to hit menopause at 39. Those people telling me that nearly ruined my life. Had my 20% chance little miracle work out and my life is complete, and I’m more than happy to put my child before me for the rest of my life. I don’t need anything else. Did you have an unplanned baby or how at 36 did you not expect it to be extremely difficult? I am a single mom by choice and sleep about 3 hours on the best nights. My son sleeps like I did at that age…not at all. Still put in 14 hour shifts at the hospital bc in my residency you only get 6 weeks of leave.

Wow i don’t know if you’ll see this, I HOPE! I graduated from a Texas University a few months ago, and im living at home now as well. It has been amazing getting to be home with my people, but you described it to a T. I could move back to that town if i wanted, but im not in a rush. But i have been struggling so so hard, seeing my friends getting their adult jobs. And im beyond happy for them, but there is a sense of, “Wow, im really not there yet.” But… we are also living in a climate that living with parents is probably the most preferable for people. For me and my family, it’s easiest for me to be living at home so taking that as a blessing can be a hard bite to chew, but im making it work. It’s nice to hear someone else going through the exact same thing, the exact same age. Also, when it’s someone you grew up watching! I danced as well, and I wear hearing aids so the true dancing and tumbling aspect was extremely hard for me. My teacher and fellow dancers were kind about it, but no one can understand a hard-of-hearing dancer array of issues until faced with them. You were always my favorite on the show, for just being the most prosperous and the TOUGHEST. You’re a role model for someone like me, and this video is a message a lot of girls our age need to hear. the thing about kids you described is so relatable omg. my whole life i’ve never had the biggest interest in having children, but for some reason when i was 23 (24 now) i went through this phase of constantly daydreaming of what it would be like to be a mother and have kids and it made me so excited, even though i don’t want children for many many years. something about being 23 apparently makes our motherly instincts kick in i guess 😂😂

the thing about kids you described is so relatable omg. my whole life i’ve never had the biggest interest in having children, but for some reason when i was 23 (24 now) i went through this phase of constantly daydreaming of what it would be like to be a mother and have kids and it made me so excited, even though i don’t want children for many many years. something about being 23 apparently makes our motherly instincts kick in i guess 😂😂

Ive wanted a baby since i was 14. I met my partner in college and i was 32 before we had a baby. ♡ no need to rush. In the uk the average age is 30 for a first time mum. Theres women here in their 40s having babies . No rush ♡

I'm in my late twenties but waiting to have children, when I get "baby fever" I have a little basket filled with a few baby things for when I do have kids one day! It helps curb the "craving" 😉 people will say "oh there's no right time to have kids!" But I promise you'll know when you're totally ready! Listen to your intuition always and don't compare yourself to others, that's gonna be harder for you because you're a dancer but you are right where you're supposed to be ❤
