Dude your vids are my favorite of all the running channels. Running an ultra is tough enough without adding the filming of it also. The music you use makes them special. Also love the google earth perspective you use. Allows us to see the distance and where your at in the race. I don’t just watch because I’m a runner. They are so enjoyable, with scenic beauty, relaxing and actually help my anxiety. Keep up the great work. Mike.

I'm so glad I came across this video because I never knew about this ultra. I grew up coming to Washington to visit family and we always drove up to Mount St. Helens. I just started ultra running and once I saw this video I knew I'd be running it so just signed up for this year's race. Thanks for posting it. Can't wait! 👍

Video is awesome, thanks for sharing. I've done 3, 50k's in the last year and will be doing Mt. Helens in 5 weeks, what was the most challenging part for you? I read many people walk the first 2-3 miles because of the steep climb.
The initial climb definitely has big hiking sections. The north side of the mountain can be really hot and exposed, I hope for you cool weather. It is so fun to be able to run all the way around a volcano in one day.
@@wplate Start at June Lake and go clockwise you get all the rocks out of the way and also get 3/4 of the vert out of the way . BTW the FKT was set going that way so something to think about.

Nice work I have only done it unsupported and did the 25k and a 20 miler not the race yet.
