Wow! I love this interview . Very lucky to speak with her. I’ve always wanted to just have lunch with her in Vegas and ask her all my curiosities that we’re t covered in the book(s) . She is one of the most under credited researchers in my lifetime . Amazing woman!

Elvis is huge here in Australia, I grew up in area with a large immigrant Italian population, he's huge with them en masse.....The new movie is entertaining, it's not aimed at us Elvis tragics obviously, but a good watch though, it looks amazing on the big screen, it's a nice addition to the Elvis cannon, I didn't go for Hanks' depiction of The Colonel though, it was a bit weird, they could have casted better but I guess no one knocks back Hanks.

I've read somewhere that the reason why Tom Hanks portrayed him that way in terms of the voice as well, was to show how "strange" Parker appeared to other people.

Sadly, the Colonel was responsible for Elvis' downfall by not allowing Elvis to do recordings exclusively, not stopping the drug-taking that Elvis engaged in, and, by allowing Elvis to get into film work, which caused The King to lose his musical edge considerably, especially after the Beatles conquered America in 1964. 😐😐😐😐😐

Elvis was responsible for himself as a grown man. If Elvis didn't agree with Parker's management, he'd have fired him.
