Too much heavy breathing Eric, my wife thought I was watching something inappropriate! Glad it's not just me that forgets the climb switch every now and then.
Starting with the hardest... sounds like something Megan would do haha! I'm aiming to do this 2021 once the kids are a little bit older. Can't freaking wait!
Man I always love your videos! Some much footage of riding! Something that to many Mtb you tubers have forgotten! It’s kinda a catch 22! I want some of the others to focus on riding, not their van or all the other bullshit they post!
Awesome. Great video. This is now on my bucket list. (1) What editing software are you using and (2&3) where are you getting and how are you syncing that cool telemetry graphic onto the video?
What software do you use to overlay the ride metrics on the screen? Amazing riding btw. I've been watching your videos for a while. Great skills and I like the personality you bring to the videos. Keep it up.
Love your videos @bcpov! I've signed up for the 2022 TransBC - do you have any tips and tricks to share??? Come to think of it, that might make a good video...
Stage 2 was crazy long! I did a 14 minute stage recently and was dying towards the end. Getting up there towards the 20 minute mark must be brutal. The last stage looked steep AF even on GoPro. I really think I want to do this race in the coming years, it looks amazing!
@@BCpov Do you still think Gimbal is worthwhile on the chest? I just got myself an 7 seems good but everyone else's footage always seems better. Cheers
@@Cinelliguerciotti right on! I saw him here in Auburn, CA and he was killing it. Just wanted an opinion from a more seasoned rider than myself for reference since I've only been riding for 2 years
Wondering what most racers bring with them while racing. How much water and everything else. Guessing try to go light as possible and try to make it to the next stage. Much less having to do it with all that camera gear. Yeesh!
It's nice to be a well rounded rider is how I look at it. Definitely helps your DH abilities when you have strong legs from putting in the work. Helps keep gas in the tank when you are more fit. Bikes make me smile
ha ha ha No shock - no problem. Once I've locked my fork after possesing a bike for a year, promissed myself to either start learning to lock/unlock regularly, or to never lock it, kept to never lock it. That day I jumped small drop but pulled a lot and smacked the front after landing rear first. We are all idiots ha ha ha
No it isnt thank f.ive had my fill of that from every you tuber under the sun covering it riding there carbon axis equipped free bikes while patreon funds there next taco trip . This is quite refreshing
That stage 1 had you cussing like a sailor. Well we know you're human now. Started a little rough but looks like you knocked the sketchies off your wheels and settled into it.
I wouldn't even try my friend if that what is on the video is accurate sign me up.. I might pull a few.like for example how can you come to a almost a stop still be doing five miles an hour.and then come to almost a complete stop and do 12 miles an hour watch the video you'll see what I'm talking about..
Your mud fender wins the award for hardest worker. I can’t believe your lens stayed so clean through that mess!
Suntour integrated fender ftw! The Patreon un-cut video video shows when I wipe the lens mid stage 😄
Hi Bcpov and loam ranger
The info cluster on the screen is awesome. thx
Very satisfying to watch, gonna see them all! thanks BCPOV!
I love these enduro race videos! Kepp em coming man!! :D
Such a good day out there man!
Great racing with you Alex!
man i love trail forks i would have had to make the woods my home because i would be forever lost on the trails
Trailforks is pretty damn handy! Trevor has made an amazing app for all of us!
Too much heavy breathing Eric, my wife thought I was watching something inappropriate!
Glad it's not just me that forgets the climb switch every now and then.
It's bike-porn, nothing to be ashamed of!
That's why I never use my climb switch because I always forget😂
Go TEAM BCPOV 💪🏽🙌🏽 I love these long edits for when im inside riding the trainer. Great work Eric ride LIKE A BOSS!

The next one is even longer!!
Riding that stuff blind at race speed ... much respect!
Great racing, Eric!! Those trails look tough, but a lot of fun with your riding group competition. Ride hard, stay safe !!!
Great video Eric , wow that stuff was steep and that last trail was technical. I can’t wait for the next one, thanks .
Great Stuff Eric 👌😉
Starting with the hardest... sounds like something Megan would do haha! I'm aiming to do this 2021 once the kids are a little bit older. Can't freaking wait!
Megan likes to pick the steep stages for sure!
Gotta love the long stages!
Wow that looks such a nice trail to... Good effort eric
Just incredible Eric...damn 61% grade on that one section!!!
Just reviewed this video...geezus, 82% grade WOW
Lol... ya it's steep in parts!

Haha, fair enough! Variety is important though :) Hopefully you guys don't get bored of this by day 6!
Great video. I like when you compite
Awesome race and footage.
Blind race seems like a better show of skill and reactions.
The telemetry is awesome too.
🚲👊💯
Telemetry is good but I'm not sure it's exact lol, -82% seems a bit too much 3:22 :D Or it's actually really really steep ^^
Makes me want to try a couple of enduro races! I hate when people won't let you pass. I like al the photogs on the double black stage, just waiting...
great video as always!
Definitely needed low pressure in the front tire on the double black! Nice job!
Bro excelent video!
go dude! push yourself
Super excited for these videos, I want to do this race but I think my "toward the bottom of sport class" skills may not be up to the challenge yet lol
The level is high at these races for sure!
Chasin' Jason MTB there’s a B.C. bike ride for weekend warriors
@@Todd_Gack BC Bike race is XC...no thanks lol
4:27 Dubstep of 2014 😂🤘
Haha, lots of interesting music happening throughout this race!

crazy awsome
So cool! My little sister got 4th in the womens! She wasn't lying itvlooked tough! The telematry was so cool
Love the telemetry matrix display. Puts more reality into the video. BTW, is part of a camera or an insert into the video?
hey muddy paws, I do in post with virb edit

wow man insane. id bring my parachute

Hey Adrian, I'm using Virb edit!
I know this is a older video but you need to do the UA-camr race at the transBC it would be great to see all of you guys race again. 2022
I love onyx hubs! It’s like being a stealth bomber
Yup! Love em too!

It's a pretty wild race for sure! I think I do prefer knowing what's coming, but racing blind certainly adds to pucker factor!
Think I could do races like this on a dh bike with converted drivetrain?
Arctifox Drew they may have suspension limitations
Arctifox Drew you could... but we had to climb 3500-6000ft a day
Would be nice on those steep stages for sure, but as alex says theres a ton of pedaling during the transiations and on the stages as well.
Bro awesome video!!
Bro how u put all the km/h in the video
Great Video @BCpov I really want to do this race perhaps in the next couple years! Are you using Gimbal or Hero 7?
I'm using a gimbal on my chest and a hero 7 on the helmet :)
@@BCpov Do you still think Gimbal is worthwhile on the chest? I just got myself an 7 seems good but everyone else's footage always seems better. Cheers
Is this the same race Trail Peak did?
Yes it is!
@@BCpov is he as fast as everyone says he is?
I do believe he's a ripper. Seen videos of him riding my local trails in Oakridge Oregon. He's comfortable with speed for sure. 😎

*well done bud*
Lots of other you tubers there, I'll talk about it in the last video :)
What does the grade mean?
Do you think you lost some time because you had your shock locked out?
Definitely. I was getting kinda sketchy on those roots!
I was watching the grade status and it was just haywire.
82 % grade was maxout on steepness looks like. That's no joke. BCBR seems like a snooze fest compared to the Enduro. 🙈😀
People asked what's harder, bcbr and this.. It's hard to decide since they are so different.. but in the end I'd say this is harder by a long shot.
It's nice to be a well rounded rider is how I look at it. Definitely helps your DH abilities when you have strong legs from putting in the work. Helps keep gas in the tank when you are more fit. Bikes make me smile
I hate my climb switch. Because I'm an idiot also.
Hah.. was a little rushed getting into that stage...
