To everybody with a Logitech G502: (This may apply to other mice too)
The preset may be causing the lagging effect, so click the preset/DPI button and it should work

2024 September. Very helpful when using Stage Manager on iPad Pro M4 with an external monitor or iPad mini 6th gen.
-- In addition to wireless bluetooth , 0:57 some hubs or docks you can I luse a wired mouse and/or keyboard. 4:52 powered hub/docks there are usba or usbc /thunderbolt ports.
-- Since this video, iPadOS has added more support for mouse and keyboards, customizing shortcuts. My hands-on: Dell wired, Microsoft wireless, Logitech MX wireless ( paired with M1 Mac Mini and the iPads).

Update: they make 3rd party digital av adapters with usb a ports plus lighting charge input. You can use camera and keyboards same time with hdmi aswell

I have a Logitech MX 2 mouse and for some reason when I type it’s messing with the typing
Keyboard doesn' t appear or misclicks? Be sure that "show onscreen keyboard" is selected in assistive touch menu.
Terryss it is shown on screen but I have the apple keyboard connected to my ipad, the case variation and when I type I’m moving the mouse cursor when I click on certain keys.

It’s strange that such a massive game changing feature isn’t being shouted from all mountains by Apple. Great pity their own mice are poor with it. On my pro 10.5 My £14 7 button Bt mouse gives 5 programmable buttons and the mouse speed switch works as well. With just a child in charge of sales and a £10 mouse thrown in Apple could break all records with sales this Xmas.

My Logitech G602 gaming mouse works just fine. No power warnings.

I have an apple magic mouse and it won't pair with my iphone 15 pro max, or my old XR, crazy apple can't communicate with itself. Pretty stupid if you ask me. Thanks for the instructions tho.

You should research a little more. Scrolling works perfectly well with mice. Also, if you speed up the tracking, any mouse will do just fine.

I am 99% sure that the problem with high-tier mouses in wired mode, like the Logitech G mouse you showcased, is that the ipad can't handle the polling rate... like, if you have set up the mouse to work at 1ms latency/polling rate then no chance in hell the ipad will be able to keep up like a normal windows pc would.
No sure if it' s hardware or software, if it' s the latter then problaby... nah, rather HOPEFULLY enough people will complain and Apple will fix this, just like they fixed wireless interferences with dongles and faceID /Screen protectors issues.
A possible fix or workaround:
If your mouse has on-board memory, just like my g203 (meaning, it can save dpi, polling rate, rgb effects in the mouse' s memory and remember such setting when connected to another pc), then one could set a lower polling rate, idk, 50ms or 80ms and try to see what happens.
Me, personally i'm fine with a cheapo little 10€ wireless mouse meant for office with usb-A dongle, which always sits in the UsbA-to-UsbC OTG dongle that my phone, a galaxy s8 came with...
I can't bother changing the mouse settings in the Logitech software each time i reconnect it to the screen, so the G203 will always sit at the desk.
I' d advise the people who wish to buy the best mouse possible for iPadOS which has a fast-scrolling wheel to get either:
-any Logitech Mx anywhere,
-any Logitech Mx Master,
-Logitech G502 (lightspeed ver.)
-Logitech G903 (lightspeed ver.)
or that GORGEOUS Logitech G604.
If you don' t mind aesthetics or rgb that can be turned off, you get much better sensor and features with G series, rather than Mx.
Mx is for using the mouse on abnormal and irregular surfaces like glass, your couch or bed.

It doesn’t work as a pc... the control quality is terrible, it just detects the touch’s, not the directional control itself. They could use this to connect to your remote computer and use it for work or gaming as if you were there. It’s a pitty... it would be amazing. :_(

There's a way. If you download the jail break program on to a Windows OS computer and connect the iPad to that computer the program will break in to the iPad and install its own apps. Those apps include word processing and many other really simple things that Apple left out on purpose. They did not want to make a tiny laptop. I believe in the selection of things and new apps you might want there are the basic firmware drivers for a bluetooth mouse and trackpad. There is a UA-cam video showing how to do it.

I’m about to flex my iPad Pro everywhere using a Bluetooth mouse. Do you have any idea how many people don’t have IPads? I have the Pro 500gb I mean is not the topest shelf tablet like your IPad Pro, at least mine will most likely be equipped with one of them Logitech gaming mouses from back in the mid 2000s odd shaped ones. Typing on the tablet makes me look crazy like one of them glass tapping crazy people in public like I don’t know you ham.
