- I have been farming wyvern so much this wipe! It has been hard the last few days. I have mostly been playing bard and lock. I played a few games of rogue and it was cinema. I noticed most pro rogue players are no longer using ambush. Instead are using stealth with dagger mastery/thrust or jokester with poison. It has been pretty enjoyable you just need a good set of lightfoots with additional move speed.

Why do you have 30 will? Anything 15 for poison is negligible from the way I understand poison weapon modifier. 7 true magic dmg + 15 will makes poison tick for 9 after 5 stabs, even when I had 20 will I was still only ticking for 9. What does your poison weapon tick for with 30 will?

It can spawn in that room but it is 1 out of 1000 chance! 99% of the time you will only find a lockpick haha
So is additional magic and true magic all that matters here? Does poision weapon not get anything from other magic stats such as will or magical power?
@@Dendell22 correct. Poison weapon does not scale with anything. Get 15 will and 7 true mgc dmg and your poison will tick for 9. The ONLY thing that increase poison dmg is add/true and 15 will
@@Skorm. you could get it over 9 of you had gear that has both add magic damage and add true magic damage couldn't you?
@@Dendell22 No you cant. Read the modifier on poison weapon. Its .5 per 1 mgc dmg. The only way to get it to 10 is to have a legendary choker. Mixing add/true does nothing. The reason you go true instead of add is because the poison will tick for true dmg which wont be negated by anything

Yeah of course! I basically make sure all my jewelry has additional or true magic. I like to have my action speed at least 25% or more and ensure my physical power is positive! :D This was just a budget set pretty much all dex and additional magic jewelry! Also make sure to have a good pair of lightfoots or laced turnshoes

agi dex and a little bit of strength
@@asackrat right I get that but I’m wondering what his priorities are. Some people stack true, others just want 15 str then dump into agi/dex, etc
@@khlfff2 yea what he built in the video was those 3 he prioritizes dex and agi mostly and then but some points to get strength to 20. Usually for rogues you want to focus your dec because stilettos and rondel daggers do a crap ton of damage already with the extra perks that you get (mostly Dagger mastery and poison) so the dex will take you a long way especially if you can get your strength to 15 so you don't have a negative modifier
