I just bought my cricut about 3 months ago for this exact reason!! I’m looking into starting up a side business . I’d greatly welcome your template for a great start ! Loved this video . Simple and straight forward !
Aawww so happy for you! The crafting journey is so fun! Oh! All my free templates are on my website here: www.adrianaspapercrafts.com/pages/design-innovator
Which is the best cricut to her and what is the newest one as well? Is the newest the best one?
The newest one is technically the "Joy". Its a mini Cricut machine for those who do small projects.
But the newest full size one is the "Maker". People love it because it expanded on what all it could cut, but really, besides that, its exactly the same as the version that came before it which is the "Explore Air 2".
At this point. Those 3 versions are really the only ones easy to find, and use.
In my opinion, the "Explore Air 2" is the perfect one to get for those on a budget, and plan to use it mostly for paper or vinyl.
The only reason to pay extra for the "Maker" is if you plan to do engraving, cutting thin wood, or fabric.
@@AdrianasPaperCrafts where is the best place to order it? Amazon or on their website??Do you have a link to the best matte brochure paper on Amazon?

Hi! I just wanted to share that I have a regular and very basic inkjet HP printer that I’ve had for over 5 years... I literally just made Valentine’s Day chip bags for my kids’ classroom parties. I used DT photo paper and they were absolutely beautiful. Extremely vibrant and super shiny. The ink does NOT smudge at all!!!
I recently saw someone else with a good print using that paper, so its definitely making me reconsider trying it!
Hi Tanesha which printer do you use
Can you please post a link with that paper? I can’t find it on Amazon
She got it from Dollar Tree, so it is not sold on Amazon.
Thank you for your time explaining. I use powerpoint for my bags.

@@AdrianasPaperCrafts ok so I have a google chrome computer...do you know if all these programs would work on that or should I get an actual laptop?
@@AdrianasPaperCrafts I also don’t have fb can you email me please! Leslie_0108@hotmail.com 😊
A chrome book you mean? Yeah, so with a chrome book, you basically can't download apps outside of what you could get from the Google Play Store. So that means you are limited. With a chromebook, you can only use online programs, like BeFunky.com for example. And in all honesty, you can get away with using online design programs while you're just starting out. After a while though, if you feel the investment is worth it because maybe you have tons of designs to make, then yeah, down the line I would recommend you get a regular computer.
@@AdrianasPaperCrafts yes a chromebook lol thank you sooooo much! I have been so hesitant to start doing this and you have literally convinced me, you make it look so easy!

Thanks for all of the info. I do agree about the weight of the glossy paper. Were you able to find a lighter weight glossy paper?
I havent found one that I love as much
I am often recommended the Epson brand glossy paper, but I worry I wont like it, so I've just stuck with the Office Depot one for now.
Wow you are awesome!
Thank you
Thank you, your video, very informative, when it comes to weight, I am trying to get a paper, the glossy paper, what is the weight that I should look for?
I've got another video on the Koala Glossy paper. Definitely suggest checking that out.
I prefer paper anywhere from 28#-40# for party favors.
Hi just came across your video. Very interesting and motivating. Thanks much
Went on to walmart and amazon but not finding that paper.
Which one? I mentioned a few.
The whole time while watching this video I was thinking to myself man this girl really looks a lot like Adriana... then I realized it really is you! 😅😅
Anyways! Lol love the video! You had lots of helpful information and tip! Thank you!!
😂😂😂 thanks Vanessa 😊
You are so detailed on the video. New subscriber.
Welcome welcome!!
I would like to be part of your Facebook group.
This is a great video. When you ship your bags do you ship them flat, with the sides creased?
I used to freak out if the sides of the bags creased, but now? I've learned people really don't care, as long as they get their bags on time, and in good condition lol. So if there is space in the package, I don't crease them. But if it's a full box with tons of stuff, bags are getting creased.
Omg I have been searching a video that will help me with starting a party favor business and watching your video got me more excited and happy to start buying the stuff I need if you have any UA-cam video or if you can please help me with more info on what things are must haves I’ll really appreciate it
I have a website with a ton of resources for you, and it sounds like you'd get a lot of use out of my FB group too! It's "Adriana's Paper Crafts Group".
Thank you so much I appreciate it I will go check it out right now
Since I’m a beginner do you have a video of what should I get and what brands are good ? I seen about the paper to use but what else do I need ? Like supplies what printer is good for this etc?
On my website, I have a few blog articles about printers, and under the "how to make a chip bag" blog article, I list all my favorite supplies.
I also have a UA-cam video from a few years ago about all the supplies I absolutely think everyone should have.
This video is so helpful 💖 thanks for sharing all your tips 🙏🏽 What program do you use to print these?
These days, I strictly use Photoshop, however there's a world of programs you can use.
Check out a list here:
adrianaspapercrafts.com/blogs/faqs/faq-how-to-make-chip-bags
Thank you for this informative video Adrianna I love your videos you taught me the most about chip bags! But I do have one question when I bought new fresh ink I was only able to print 15 chips bags at the most with glossy paper and my chip bags came out perfect and glossy without smear but I already ran out of ink is that common or do I need to change something?
I'm glad I could help!
I've noticed that name brand ink cartridges run out ssssooo fast. That's why I buy off brand ink cartridges. (I have a video on that here on my channel). From there, you just have to make sure that the paper you use is compatible with the ink you are using. Some inks are "pigment" or "dye" ink, and aren't compatible with all paper types.
Thank you for the video! Can you tell me how to get measurements for the things I want to make labels for? Chip bags? Donut wrappers, soda cans, Capri Suns....etc

Hello I'm a beginner and I came across iur videos and u have answered alot of questions I had and I thank you so much I want to do this business because none I Kno is doing it in my area my last question is can I use a ipad air with a wireless printer for this business thanks so much
Hi there,
You can use an iPad and wireless printer, yes.
Love the video, can I please have a list of the SUPPLIES again please
Thks in advance
I've got them in this blog post: adrianaspapercrafts.com/blogs/faqs/faq-how-to-make-chip-bags
Hello Adriana, I purchased the Walmart super bright paper you recommended and I was wondering what paper setting do you print it as? I did a chip bag with a hot pink background but for some reason it’s printing red, the printer I have is a Hp Envy 4500.
Hey there, I dont change my settings at all when using regular paper. I think whats happening is actually normal. That happens because the color on your screen is different from the actual ink color. They will never match 100%. What you can do is go into your design program, lighten up the pink, and then try printing again. Keep in mind, it may look CRAZY on your screen, but print out perfectly. Its a pain, but this is what I have to do pretty often.
Hello! Thank you for your great video! Can you give me the template for the chip bags that you talked about please?
Hey Trina! Everything is up on my website, so you can download a ton of stuff all at once 😊 www.adrianaspapercrafts.com/pages/design-innovator
Hi I was wondering what kind of paper do I use to make chip bags I have a hp laser printer
You can use any computer paper really, but here are the ones I like: adrianaspapercrafts.com/blogs/craft-tips/printing-paper-i-recommend
If you want the gloss finish, which paper do you recommend?
Koala glossy photo paper (Amazon), Office Depot glossy brochure paper, or HP glossy photo paper (anywhere)
I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS YOU ARE REALLY GREAT AT LETTING US KNOW EVERY DETAILS I DONT HAVE FACEBOOK I WANT TO TRY YOUR FREE CHIP TEMPLETE
What is the best double sided tape for chip bags cause my bags came apart
Strangely, I no longer have a favorite for this lol. I use the double sided adhesive from Dollar Tree, but I have also gotten some from Joanns, or Amazon
Thanks for the advice . If i have a templet what do i set my printer on to print my chip bag out through canva ?
The printer settings should match whatever type of paper you are using.
For example, if using glossy photo paper, then set it to glossy photo paper.
hi I just watch your video and really like how you explain on how to make the chip bags step by step. my problem is on where and how to do it on the computer, im not computer smart. so if you could give me some pointer I'll appreciated

I have heard of people using their tablets. I just personally think its easiest to use a desktop or laptop.
Love ur site, i want to join so i can learn more im new to how create chip bags, water bottles, ect
Love your video! I did not see your link below for the Assemble video. Did I just miss it or did UA-cam censor it for some silly reason?
I have 2 chip bag assembly videos. This one is detailed: ua-cam.com/video/5lDC32iUjHc/v-deo.html
Hi. Love your video. Are you allowed to use google pictures to sell tho? I'm very confused on that subject....
Right. There is a ton of controversy on the subject. It is always important to note that you arent selling the artwork/characters themsleves, but the materials and time put into the physical product.
You'll see a lot of limitations on Etsy where your shop can get shut down due to copyright infringement, because of other sellers reporting you. Its definitely tricky.
Hello, how can I prevent the ink from coming off the bags? I used gloss paper
The #1 think to do first is confirm that your printer is compatible with your paper type. I dont just mean that the glossy paper says its for "inkjets" or "lasers". I mean, go to the website listing of your printer, scroll to where it lists the paper types that your printer is capable of handling, and see if your glossy paper is listed there.
From there, you need to be sure that your print settings are set for glossy paper, and to print on "high" or "best" settings.
How do I keep my images from smudging when I use the brochure paper? I’ve used the HP but it smudged bad while putting it together
Usually when you see smudging, its a result of dirty print rollers.
Be sure to:
-Clean print rollers (using the printer settings).
-Always use the appropriate print settings for the type of paper you use. For example, if your printer doesnt realize you're using thick paper, it wont adjust itself accordingly.
-When using glossy paper, be careful not to press directly onto your print out with your hands, similar to how you hold photos by the sides!
Have to let it dry
Hi, love your videos and you just got a new subscriber. I will like to order a fairy garden theme chips bag.
Hey there, thanks so much for the support. You can order custom designs directly from my website: www.adrianaspapercrafts.com/collections/custom-items-any-theme-can-be-done
I loved this! Thank you so much. I am inspired! I had a question. What about copyright infringment? I am so worried that If I make the character bags that I'll get a letter or shut down. I know so many people do it. I see all the disney stuff on etsy. What are your thoughts and opinions on this?
I'll admit that the creative world is so split on that. You have those that will advise you to completely stay away from any licensed characters. A good alternative is to buy clipart from graphic artists that is similar to the character you are looking for, but is not exact. And then, you're going to find those who type out the whole "I am charging for my time. I do not claim ownership of the images used". I can tell you...typing that out does not work lol. They can still go after you. In regards to Etsy, you may see thousands of licensed characters on there, but I can tell you for a fact that thousands of Etsy listings are being reported daily, either from customers, other sellers, or the owners of those characters. Etsy will give you 3 warnings, and remove 3 listings before they kick you off for good. If you have a website, those large companies might find your shop and actually contact you. My personal belief is that these huge companies will mostly just try to scare you out of selling their images, but they won't go all out and sue you unless you don't heed their warnings. So you have to make a personal choice and decide for yourself how you'll work.
I have a question so for the HP brochure paper do you have to use a HP printer?
No. Not at all. Of course, HP will say that the best results will come from using HP paper with an HP printer, however, thats just a sales tactic. You can use HP paper with any printer.
You are so awesome
Which printer do you recommend for making chip bags and Rice Krispies and juice labels?

Hey!! Thanks sooo much for the vid! Can I have the info for template please!!! Thanks 🙏🏾 in advance
Hi Adriana thanks for the awesome videos. I have purchased your template and I want to try cats for my sons first bday however after watching and purchasing the glossy I think I wanna go with matte because well you know kids lol. The pen and gear one on your blog post is sold out can you recommend an alternate? Thanks so much
Anything similar will work. I always pay attention to the brightness of the paper, and the weight. So any brightness level that is as close to 100, and a weight between 24# - #32 will work.
