If I would like to restore tackiness of a blue mat. what should the ratio be?

I've had my 8550 for over a year now and love it, except I'm still searching for a way to do 1:1 ratio papers for 8.25" x 8.25", or 12 "x 12" on A3+ size paper, they don't have a clue at CS Epson.hence the search on YT unfortunately yours didn't help me, but thanks for taking the time.

thanks so much! have a new et-8550 that was printing everything with a magenta tinge... took quite a while to find your video walking me through a very unintuitive process. turns out the default 'epson vivid' setting was the culprit... changed it to adobe rgb (as someone else mentioned as well) and the problem was solved. i had tried 3 different types of paper, head cleaning, fiddling with ink bottles, etc, and was thinking i might have to send the printer back (what a drag!). all the searches led me back to problems with ink levels or cleaning. . i suggest you change the name of the video to 'fixing incorrect color printing settings in epson et-8550' or something like that! took me quite a while to find this posting. again, thank you!! didn't want my 3' panorama to be purple.

Hi Adriana, Thanks for putting this video up. My Nelco keeps printing about 1/8th of an inch larger than the actual 4" x 6" label. The effect is each successive label is printed a little lower than the previous one. After about 10 labels, the top half of the image is printed on one and the bottom half is printed on the next. I've looked through all my settings and haven't been able to figure this out? Do you know what's wrong or do you have a contact that might be able to help me out? Thanks again,

Hello, I am interested in Epson all in one printers, I want one which can print amazing photos and great print quality. I want it to have copy, scan and wireless print capability. I saw this printer because it has everything and most importantly EcoTank, which will be cheaper to run in the long run. I have 2 questions: How compact is it for home use? How much do the bottles of ink cost?

You might mention the Active box cartridge that needs to be replaced every 3 months to save 100's this keeps the ink from clogging heads or the excess ink has no where to go.

You can contact a business which does custom profiles for a printer and then have accurate colors printed. They will typically have you print their test page on the paper you will be using and with the ink that you will be using. Then you get that profile baked into the computer and as long as you are using that printer with that paper and that ink - your colors will be right. For different paper and ink you would have to have another custom profile generated. Not cheap but it reduces the hassle factor.

How do you deal with licensing Disney characters? It is my understanding that using copyrighted characters is copyright infringement. It could get your book banned and end up in a lawsuit.

How do you change it to super b or a3 on the printer? It doesnt show an option for 13x19. I have it on my computer but not on my printer. I used it before, but cant find it now
