Awww I'm bawling my eyes out when Esma tell Adem that she couldn't choose between her four sons and so decided to give Fevzi's watch to Adem. That is my greatest part of all the 300 episodes of the bride of Istanbul. ❤❤❤
What a beautifully healing episode. Esma makes her amends with Adem before full-on Alzheimer’s sets in, genuinely and wisely! Adem needed that and realizes the importance of this moment!
Esma u did a wonderful thing , a child should never be deprived of his father , another life lesson, a child cannot pay for what the parents do , they innocent being's
Adem & Emma forgiveness and healing. Tears of sorrow, but transforming for Adem. An old watch that was priceless to Adem and Esma wise enough to give it. Nothing heals the heart like love and forgiveness! Esma, how we have grown to love her character.
Everyone is talking about Esma and Adem scene, but what about Adem and Dilara scene? Adam was so vulnerable with Dilara. Dilara looked like a light bulb went off in her head. Apparently she had never thought that Adem felt that way. It was a beautiful scene and I think it opened Dilara's view on Adem's fatherhood.
If Esma could forgive Adem for everything he put them through, he needs to check himself cause it’s always about him. Forget the past and live for the future, it’s not only him that deserves happiness. He brings these things on himself and blames everyone, he treated Mert like crap that day and everyone saw it but him.
The essence of Istanbullu Gelin is the Joy just after Emotions. Esma and Adem's peace fulfilling was tears nonstop..I cried like a baby & since I was watching the episode alone it gave me the freedom to cry my heart out. Uffff what an amazing scene was that...the first Hug fm Adem to Esma. Tears didn't stop but was good, the fun part followed with Dilara's bday at Faruk's dream restaurant❤❤❤❤❤

Wow. Adem is such a brilliant emotional actor. Above all, this drama is about womens hidden strength courage understanding above all selflessness we women share without a second thought to carry the burden of so many without with hope. Turkish dramas ability to emotions is why I have given up watching British and American dramas. Peace.
It's gotta be the most beautiful, touching, emotional and heart rending scene between Esma and Adem. OMG, God is good all the time and make a way when there seems to be no way. Esma you are so beautiful when finally you lay everything down and embraced Adem as your own son. Words are just not enough to express the vacilation of your heart but Esma you did it by opening your heart to Adem showing him that Love is the greatest gift of all. The watch Adem received from Esma that belongs to his late Dad was just an icing on the cake. Adem, you are finally welcome and accepted into the Boran family. Blood is thicker than water. Better late than never. To forgive is divine. Wonderful lessons in life.
amazing series actor's the best,to incorporate this drama must have been hard work,Genius that's what I call it,you've taken me into the family like I'm living the time with them, thank you to all involved, Hello to everyone from England........
Oh my goodness, I had this feeling when watching the previous episode that when Esma got that watch out of her chest that she was going to give it to Adem. How special is that!?!?❤❤❤ I'm so happy they shared that special moment in time. Also very pleased indeed that Adem and Dilara finally had a therapeutic moment that will help the both of them to move on separately, but together, if that makes sense😊. Love how things are being repaired and healed and restored as this series winds down. Oh, how I will miss this 😢❤❤
Adam and esma I am so happy she called Adam son and she is in her right mind ,ain't God good.he got to experience her before her mind went bad and to get his father's old watch, I always thought adman was a good soul he needed a mother love and he received it before the illnesses took over her mind. Hats off to that performance from them both.🥰🥳
Adem Fikret...loved the way fikret preached to Adem reminding him of his own experience. @5 & 5.12...Adem shone bright at Fikret's words...the man is Handsome with a charming smile..arre yaaaar....what am I saying???? Not only Adem but every actor & Actress in this seriesis mind blowing!!!!!!
It's wonderful, and sad to see, how Esma becomes kinder person, as she is losing her short term memory she is realizing what is important in the long term, the future.
Really she became kinder before that!!!! Sureyya changed her heart!! Even some of her traditions which made her so firm and staunch!! She really was kindhearted/ she gave to the poor! When She was stolen from - by Senem and Kitchen help and when Gulistan burned the crib- she still forgave her!
Aaww Esma she make peace with everyone even Adem is not her son but that she know he is the son of his first husband and she got a great heart she give Adem advice that a mother do Bravo Esma👏👏👏👏
Adem saying the reason gunes left him was “ he cares about his son” well she left him because he’s jealous of Dilaria boyfriend and mistreated him and tries humiliating him in front of everyone. Does he ever takes responsibility?
I love this story .. the emotions are captured .. so Beautifully .. Has it been asked if this is in a book .. english form .. I would love to read it .. So Many Life Lessons .. I have experienced some heart breaking moments within my own family and wish they had the healing heart that have come to this story .. I am not sure how I will handle this series coming to an end .. I will miss them all too much ...
This is kind of a long answer... As it says at the beginning of each episode, "This is based on a true story." It's true that some parts of the story are LOOSELY based on real-life people and events. The two sources are 1) A schizophrenic character from the book "Hayata Dön" (Return to Life) by Dr. Gülseren Budayıcıoğlu and 2) A singer and clothing designer named Ülkü Üst. However, these are just sources of inspiration: The story is not real and almost every character is a work of fiction: There's no Adem, Begum, Emir, Garip, etc, etc. However, regarding the two sources I've mentioned, Sureyya is a composite character inspired by a patient of Dr Budayıcıoğlu. I've just ordered the book from Amazon but if you don't speak Turkish you're out of luck. From the reviews I've read, the main character in the book is named "Sureyya" but the character's negative traits were transferred to Ipek in the TV series. Dr. Budayıcıoğlu has written a number of books about patients she's counseled and she worked with the screenwriters as a writer and a consultant, hence the wonderful psychiatric counseling we've seen with Adem. She has written for other TV series including a more recent one called, Kırmızı Oda (The Red Room). It's on UA-cam but I think only in Turkish. The series is set in a private psychiatric practice and a renowned psychiatrist counsels individual patients. Regarding, Ülkü Üst, she was a seamstress who was a part-time singer with the band "Beyaz Kelebekler." A wealthy man from Bursa, Ali Sarpkan, went regularly to watch her perform. The two fell in love and he married her with the condition that she leave the band. Sound familiar? There were more elements from her life that were woven into this series: Ülkü had a difficult upbringing. Her family had financial problems, she had to drop out of high school and her father died when she was a child. Her mother was just 35 when she married a 65-year old paşazade who could provide for her and her children. Ülkü, like Sureyya, had a difficult time at the beginning of her marriage because her mother-in-law didn't accept her but that relationship became loving over time (after the mother-in-law became very ill). Ülkü was (and I think still is) a fashion designer. She created her own fashion house (Kelebek Moda evi), so it looks like they wove that into the series but gave it to the character Ülfet. Ali was evidently a playboy and lazy rather than industrious like the character Faruk. When the Sarpkan family business had serious financial difficulties, Ali and his brothers were inept in managing the business. Ülkü and Ali ultimately divorced because he was not faithful to her. So, a lot of landmarks were taken from Ülkü's life for the series as well. But again, the story is mostly fiction.
