- Hardest song including DLC and excluding customs (of course). So far I'm the only person on Xbox Live to have done it on Hard Score Attack (I know that little girl (Audrey123Talks) that plays this game has completed it).
I'd say this song is harder than Satch Boogie (which is Rocksmith 2014's hardest non-DLC song) as this requires more technical ability but Satch Boogie requires you to either learn it off-by-heart or be extremely good at sight-reading because the scrolling in it is extremely fast.
Btw did anyone else think that this song was called 'Death Metal' at first?
This song kinda makes me wish that there was a Dragonforce DLC pack since power metal is so fun to play/great music that you can show off to.
So yeah this is the hardest Rocksmith song.
I still think I did better in this than I did in Seventeen.
What is Rocksmith 2014 Edition: Rocksmith 2014 Edition is the self-proclaimed "fastest way to learn" guitar. It allows you to plug-in any electric or bass guitar to play with. The game is somewhat reminiscent of Guitar Hero and Rock Band what with the note highway and whatnot but you are not using a plastic guitar but instead a real guitar.

+Shockandaw3d I find Satch Boogie to just have insane scrolling speed, but it's perfectly doable. This I find is a massive test of endurance with that long-ass shred solo.

I think the Avenged Sevenfold song you're thinking of is Afterlife. It's tough as fuck but it's not as much as an endurance task as this one is and the scrolling is slower IIRC. As for Hangar 18 I can get a higher percentage than this one (just though)

To everyone saying that harder songs exist. you are right however a songs difficulty can be defined in different ways. for example : cliffs of dover very technical and moderately fast. whereas this is fairly simple just very quick. the overall difficulty is determined by the player. I personally find this easy. however speed is one of my strong suits. I can play a minor pentatonic scale at 210 bpm. in any case good job
I totally agree with you. All I've learnt from this video is that difficulty is totally subjective. One dude is saying Satch Boogie's harder, a bunch of others saying Cliffs of Dover is more difficult and others saying For the Love of God is more difficult and a whole bunch of other songs.
Personally this is the song I've struggled most with, I usually get a bronze on SA with this while Cliffs of Dover I can easily get a silver and sometimes a gold. Satch Boogie I can get a gold easily as well.

nicely done! I hate this genre of music so much though! the one where it sounds like some dude singing opera and the rest of the band is playing as fast as they can. Takes a lot of skill, can't deny that.
I know that this is not a simple song, of course not... But I find Metropolis Part 1 by Dream Teather harder.
A little tip for those arpeggios at the beginning is to lift off the one you're not using, i believe that the guitarist does that too
I personally think Painkiller is a lot harder, and that's still not the hardest song in the game. Good job either way.

I've been playing on PC (trying to make videos of customs but Shadowplay is being a dick) lately and note detection is a bit off :\. Could be my guitar though.
+AlpaQ Bandicam works well. It just doesn't work on songs longer than 10 minutes unless you buy or crack it.
Nah I just got the thing to work. It wasn't working on manual settings for some reason and setting it to default made it work.
Now I can finally upload CDLC.
+AlpaQ okay. If you record pc, make sure audio exclucitivity is turned off. it makes it so ur program can record audio from the game. i learned from live stream experiences...

Through the fire and flames is overrated, look up some of Jason Becker's songs in rocksmith. They are almost impossible to sight read

this songs not even hard at all, the only thing that looks hard is the shredding and that's nothing if you spend a couple hours working on it, cliffs of dover is way harder than this song and satch boogie

+hamed faqirzai Honestly Rocksmith makes you sound better, I practiced on this game a lot when I first got it. At the start I wasn't improving much until I started playing songs that were above my skill level (basically just maxing out the songs to 100%).
I've improved a lot since I did this video and I'm kinda considering uploading again.
+AlpaQ So you recommend just starting the songs at max difficulty and getting more accurate?
Yeah do it slower than 100% speed of course and after awhile you'll be able to just head into a song and get a decent percentage.

this is easy with a burst of hard. there are plenty of other songs that are hard all the way through, like metropolis, for the love of god, any joe satriani, any rush solo, etc.

For bass I'd probably say Metropolis pt 1 or one of Primus' songs.
I haven't played many songs on rhythm but the hardest I came across would probably be Eight-Ball, Coroners Pocket.
