Id rather play decent on matched then sh*t on traditional. Most pep/marching bands also play concert in spring so I wouldn't see traditional on that :/
Anistyn Honey you definitely haven't heard good music from trumpets then. I recommend looking up Youngblood Brass Band, Lucky chops, Arturo Sandoval, and maynard Ferguson. Just a few amazing examples of great trumpet players
Hashbrown R34 always depends on the person behind the trumpet. There can easily be an argument that any instrument is obnoxious. But good players make it sound nice.
Thought I'd add this as well. ua-cam.com/video/LFxTZqDp0og/v-deo.html , just came across it, he plays with amazing tone in the high range, if you like the jazz/swing genre, you'll love this :)
Moses Trujillo I would wish they did, I mean being s freshmen snare drummer that can come close to replicating the Top Secret Guys drum Corp. Traditional would be cool but if they can match works too, throw in a bit of stick tricks and you’ll be set my dudes
My brother is in the gray hat playing the snare by the bass clarinet he kept it pretty lit Edit: I just realized at 1:03 (1:04 you can see) my brother smiling he smiled at me I was sitting behind the camera and I waved at him slightly trying to not distract him, then he smiled at me I smiled back
I think I found Logan Paul's doppelgänger
ScenicAmoeba I knew someone would say that! Thought the same thing.
ScenicAmoeba I was about to say tgat
ScenicAmoeba lol
ScenicAmoeba I was thinking the same thing, this kid looks like a younger Logan Paul
But he's cuter than Logan
That snare on the left looks like he's having the time of his life
PhrozenSero
She
His
*-Are you saying that thing is transgender-*
Datboi David W I meant to say he's my bad 😅
"JUST LET ME GROOVE!"
The snares are about as dirty as Donald trumps butt
When you know the song too much
Is anyone scrolling through the comment section to see if anyone else thought the guy in the middle looked like Logan Paul too?
YUP
Yup
He does. Lol
OMG yup
YUP
trumpets why u no take it up an octave?!?!?
Tim Cao my guess is that it was too hard for them so the director probably told them to play lower
coolbird3695 Lol im in middle school and I can play that part a way higher octave
Luis Castro mm sure
Tim Cao ikr
It's high so they should be way advanced to play it so idk why they didn't do it.
the guy playing center snare looks like logan paul
Mountain Bike Madness lol
this sounds like a different version than the one my band plays, and yet I still find myself coming back to the video
Sparrotix sp
Our version is split into two parts, and it sounds like they're playing the 1st part but at a lower octave
Same
I was just watching battlefield 1 tips and i ended up here
same
nutleaf loool, I am here because I was watching Bullet force bugs, damn, yt is in da drugs dude

lol the three guys in the front were lit the whole time
E Ranada
lmao percussion is always turnt during concerts
But the dude on the right looks like he hates life
E Ranada lol no
It sounds better higher.... Also if the tubas had better dynamics... I play tuba and bass guitar so I'm used to playing that song.
Wai no 1st trumpet & tenors ;(
I NEED MY TENOR SAX!!!!ONE111!ONE!ELEVEN!!!111!ONE!
I think this is a different arrangement
I didn’t know logan paul played snare
For some reason matched grip on a marching snare makes me cringe
ItsNovaYT
Same here.
ItsNovaYT yes. Matched on a marching snare is garbage. Traditional all the way 😃
ItsNovaYT yeah, matched grip seems like the grip for the lazy snare or marching snare drummers.
Id rather play decent on matched then sh*t on traditional. Most pep/marching bands also play concert in spring so I wouldn't see traditional on that :/
Sorry that they're playing matched grip, the guys usually play the quads and not the snare
Bass clarinet sounded nice!
The bari sax stands out the most
I love this 🥁I learned just by listening 👌🏼👌🏼
One day the band will meet up in 30 years later and it’ll be like a reunion
Love this song " And drum line
That sousaphone player really got into it
2nd snare from the left lowkey looks like logan paul😂
The middle snare, just say the middle snare.
UndefeatedX jr. ikr
Thank you
so true
Why does everyone always something to say about the trumpets...........
Trumpets sound obnoxious. (Clarinet player here☺️)
Anistyn Honey you definitely haven't heard good music from trumpets then. I recommend looking up Youngblood Brass Band, Lucky chops, Arturo Sandoval, and maynard Ferguson. Just a few amazing examples of great trumpet players
Cpjh thanks :)
Hashbrown R34 always depends on the person behind the trumpet. There can easily be an argument that any instrument is obnoxious. But good players make it sound nice.

0:45 dem sousaphones be jamming
Ayy the bass clarinet, I play the bass clarinet and I'm in 8th grade
Me too
Now try to play traditional grip instead of match grip
Xander Casey first they have to be good at match, look at the snare on the left
Must not know what traditional was used for
Pretty good for a small band, they play seven nation army better than our 10th graders!
I could see the bari sax in the right corner and I screamed! That what I play! It’s heavy but def worth it!
My fav
dude i’m in the one act play and we had a spirit parade today with the marching band and now i can’t get this out of my head i- help
The snare drum with the hat is 👌🏻
I love that songs tap
Great
Pretty lit🔥🔥
Yes
Any one notice Logan Paul in the middle
I've read through the comments of like all seven nation army vids and I've never seen so many people wanting the trumpets to play louder!😂

muy motivador
Guy on left is getting into it
the bass drum in the back looks like ksi and the snare middle looks like logan paul
Considering how good we are now, i hate how this is the only video of us that's popular.
BASS CLARINET YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!
why dont you use traditional grip
Moses Trujillo because they aren't good enough in match grip, look at the snare on the lefts technique
Dylan Catlin sorta does since most percussion techs/instructors don’t teach traditional until the student is skilled in match grip
I'm honestly disgusted by it
Honestly traditional just looks cleaner too
Moses Trujillo I would wish they did, I mean being s freshmen snare drummer that can come close to replicating the Top Secret Guys drum Corp. Traditional would be cool but if they can match works too, throw in a bit of stick tricks and you’ll be set my dudes
Our school memorized it
Japaneseenterprise thank you!!
Hey, our Band plays this exact same one!!!!!!!!! 😄
What type of snare you use?
DOUUUUPPPEEEE
the dancing instruments... bari sax and the tubes😂
Yea if only our band was this good
I love this song because its a good cheer song.🐮🐄🐶
The gal on the far right with the Bass Clarinet has my respect
Snares were kinda dirty and would like to see traditional grip.
It cool
Bass clarinet player realized they don’t need the lier lol. They play the same thing they entire song. #BassClarinetGang
Ayy bass clarinet
We play this arrangement as well and there was supposed to be a trumpeto solo at the end. Im sad now
Percussion is the best of all(person on right is having the best time of his life)
Top top top
the tuba was fire sounding
-no- Yea it was cool and the snare were good to
That kid in the middle of everybody looked so confused XD
No marching? Marking time? No gaurd?? OUR DANCE FOR THIS SONG IS AWESOME!
Its either they all have to go up an octave or all of them go down an octave
Plz post more

I’m at least responsible for a thousand views on this video because I love this song and the version😂
I see the tubas doing all the work

Lol the bari sax all the way on the end
WAY TO GO TO THE BASS CLARINET!!!!!!!!
It always looks weird when snares use match grip
Anyone know why they are using match grip and not traditional? I thought traditional was used for marching band.
Amora Ac anyone know why your judgmental all breathes
Y'all taking about the lower snare, but what about those low af trumpets??
Why no traditional grip
Tenor drum?
They don't have it memorized it is literally the easiest song ever
LHSSteelersFan Bruh lmfao right?
What's not to like about about dancing sousas?
Is this Naaman Forest HS?
That sousaphone player is going all out
smooth criminal
I like the tuba dancing kid
French marching band during WW1 (colorized)
match grip on high school?
0:52 the guy on the rights face
My brother is in the gray hat playing the snare by the bass clarinet he kept it pretty lit
Edit: I just realized at 1:03 (1:04 you can see) my brother smiling he smiled at me I was sitting behind the camera and I waved at him slightly trying to not distract him, then he smiled at me I smiled back
Your brother did great!
Does anyone else wonder why there's a base clarinet in there marching band?
0:38 i bet those kids/teens in that bus are like.. wtf?
I sense a wild Bari sneaking from behind the camera
