I'm come from Montreal, got some pretty bad ass Land Rovers 20" rims for my BMW X3 2012, and after searching multiple "customs wheels and accessories" places like crazy , they where all telling me that nothing exists, impossible to fit them in your car (not that the bolt pattern and PCD where exactly the same fitment) I came to see your video and I was like "alleluia" !!! - obviously, I had to get a stud conversion kit (75mm) from ebay since they deliver to Canada, that converts m14x1.25 (BMW) to m14x1.5 (Land Rover) with Flat Seat Lug nuts and they fitted like a glove - thanks again for your video, very helpful
thank you for that , i cross threaded one of my bolt in my F10 , now i need to change the tyre but am scared of it cause what if the shop guys will break the thread while changing tyres, can u let me know a best steel lug nuts set for F10, cause am not sure abt the size. .
Great video. I have a set from ECS sitting at the house waiting for me to install them on my F22 M240i. Looking forward to getting away from the lug bolts.
Nice... I might consider doing the same on my E60. What I did notice is that you are not running them with some kind of locking wheel nut or something similar... Where I used to live, it was super common for people go round and steal your wheels off the car if they are not locked down, so have always had some kind of lock on all my cars since... what are you thoughts on these for where you live? or leaving your car somewhere. Would be great to get an update.
That’s not true. It depends on the socket, if it’s coated and how careful you’re being. You don’t use an impact to torque them. Just to spin the nuts on quicker. And you can easily do that without damaging parts of you are careful.
Thic F30 took me 2 min to put all 5 on with my hand and then torque wrench. Impact is unnecessary. The shop I run and own deals with exotics. We do not use impacts on tires. Ever. I would fire any one of my techs on the spot if they did.
Update: Use red threadlocker loctite. The blue is medium strength, the red is max strength. :)
Common misconception. If you use heat and proper methods, you can in fact remove them.

@@ThicWhips can confirm. I used red loctite and was still able to remove them when I had to swap my hub out.
Yup, should be able to remove them. If I recall, there is a green that is permanent.
So why did you use blue?
Shout out for the breaker bar tip for a solo install!
👌🏽
Or just do one stud at a time with the wheel still on the car lol

man those black rims look so good
im a little dissapointed. I came in here thinking you were going to show us how to turn ourselves into studs when I read your thumbnail.. 😂
Future video idea
I had the exact same stud kit on my e60. I should've put em on the e92 before I sold the e60 cause now I miss em
update: reordered
That’s one of the best upgrades I did to my F80, make my life easy👍🏼

Do you have to remove the studs every time you replace rotors?
No
Great upgrade....to your face...Mustache looks on point! Haha. Studs look great too
😂😂😂🤙🏽

Do you change your wheels that often?
Kyle's M235i asthetic purpose
I have a F22 230ix with M Sport 18" wheels...what size studs did you use? I too, am looking for a close to stock appearance. Thank you Ryan
Kyle's M235i no, but I find the studs more convenient than dealing with lugs when I do take the wheels off.
My question is, how strong are they? I got a 1000hp 2JZ E90 and want to do this kit but not sure if the studs can handle the power lol
Ya boi needs to do this, love aggressive they look
Nice job mate , this will be happening on my F30 - looks great and super practical
Does the studs conversion ever need to be replaced? Will it last the lifetime of the vehicle?
beautiful car man, question for you, is there any waiting period for the thread lock tight to set or is it good to go right away
That mustache tho

Honestly the car doesn’t sit out unattended at all. It’s mostly being driven or in my garage.
look nice! Could you recommend to me what size nuts and lugs if I have using the spacer 12&15mm for my m3 f80 ?
Awesome video, simple and to the point. Love the setup! Not gonna lie, I took a little offense to the statement at 1:48 😅
😂😂
What prevents wheel theft using these? Wouldn’t want to not have locking bolts on my BM here in the UK
My garage
Problem with mine is i have to adjust the handbrake shoes through the stud hole ...so would need to remove one every time
You’ve definitely mentioned this before, but what rims are those? Looking for something in that style
Variant xenon 🤙🏽
those stud can u install them in any bmw for example say e46 will they work ?
Does the black paint on the lug nut wear away with each tire swap? Longer lug bolts is the way I went with spacers
More than likely yeah, depending on how much you are scraping the studs of course
@@ThicWhips I'm talking about the lug nut where your socket touches, not the stud contact
What’s the perfect size for me l my 325xi
Why do you need to take the wheel off, cannot you take one lug out and put the conversion kit on and one by one?
What tint do you have on your bmw need to get mine aswell!
Joshua Quiggle he has full 20% ceramic with 50% on the windshield, I have the same tint and it’s killer!
Wtf I just came on your Chanel and just saw you uploaded a minute ago a few seconds in the vid that’s pretty neat
Yaaaaaay a video for all BMW owners :)))
What impact sockets do you use??
I’m not sure of the brand, they are coated so they don’t scratch the wheels. Got them off amazon.
What are these wheels ?
Variant xenon
...Why do you not have an Impacter wrench for taking off your wheels?...
I do. Just wasn’t charged. Lol
Impacts damaged wheels/nuts finish. Would never use a impact on my advan wheels

Can’t fire me. 🤪
I love you
