Excellent demonstration. Could you play a more complex style like bossanova, bolero jazz, that require higher harmony? Three chord songs are easy, how would the system react to complex harmony requirements?
Thanks. Get more info here:- ua-cam.com/video/0RMMkOvYA0A/v-deo.html You can also use base pedals as I show here if you do NOT want to use or don't have a Midi Guitar:- ua-cam.com/video/heoUF64xeAY/v-deo.html

Can you give me the exact configuration to be able to play like this? (I have the GR30 and the GR55 guitar multiac nylon SA and ketron SD90?
Can we get accompaniment for more complex chords such as extensions, 9th, 11th, sus, diminished, tritone, etc, used in bossa, jazz? This demonstration of basic country music depicts mayor chords only. Please advise.
Thank you for your review. I have been actively looking for this instrument for years. I just now discovered it and I am incredibly excited. I have been dreaming of something that will interpret what chords I am playing and do a baseline. The use of backing tracks is so stilted and seems to be too much like Karaoke rather than a "Live Instrumental Performance". Did you type out your own lyrics? I have 375 songs with lyrics, notes, and chords in Word doc. format that I have compiled, printed, and put into a songbook that I carry on stage for my gigs. Can I load these songs into the Ketron instrument? If the Ketron instrument follows my chord changes do I need the foot pedal. What is the screen you have on your stand that you use in your video to read the lyrics? Can you scroll the lyrics? Do you sell these machines?
Yes, we do sell these. We are the official KETRON America/USA distrubutors of KETRON products. You can reach us directly via email (Ajaminc@Gmail.com) or call 267-323-5005 so we discus more. Yes, this product follows you (as opposed to backing tracks/Midi/Mp3 that you have to follow. But the key element here is the KETRON products sound lile a live band, without the band headaches sometimes :-(
What a great unit but as a SOLO Singer / Guitarist who plays Live I'd like to know ::: 1. Can you use any MIDI Foot Controller and Assign it to perform Drum Fills, Style Variations, Intro Start & Outro Endings etc or does it have to be the Ketron 13-Button unit only ? 2. I can't see how it's possible to do Lead Breaks using this or the SD40 in this Mode as it has to be told what chords you are playing to do the accompaniment as you are playing them ?
Hello, A while ago you mentioned a workaround for using a bigger touch screen wit a SD90. Can You please let me know where I can get this info for this workaround? Thank You in advance.
Coming soon. However as I explained, you can already achieve this with your current OS ... just go into MENU - Midi - Arrange Kboard - RX, and set GLOBAL = 1. Your Midi Guitar should also be set to transmit on Channel 1. More here: ua-cam.com/video/heoUF64xeAY/v-deo.html
After 3:20 you says this can be done by a acustic guitar. Can you please explain how? And is there a firmware 2.03+ for the SD90? I can only find 2.03 (which dont have the Guitar under Menu-Play modes...Thanks
Yes. It can be done with an accoustic Guitar if you use the Midi Bass Pedals as shown in this video:- ua-cam.com/video/heoUF64xeAY/v-deo.html If you want to use the GUITAR, then you can purchase the Fishman Tripple Play Midi converter and install on any guitar!
Hi AJ , I just bought new FS6 pedal and connect it to SD90 but it's not working? what am I missing ? what I did : from Menu -> Footswitch , I choose for example the first switch to be with Start/Stop function but when pressing with the foot on the FS6 nothing trigger the start stop , maybe I need another configuration it's not supposed to be easy ? thanks
Hello, I see that you are using a bigger external screen on the SD90. If I connect a bigger touchscreen on this SD90 or a SD40 can I use the external touchscreen in stead of the little touchscreen on the SD40/SD90? Or can they be used togheter? Thank You an allso for the very good video's.
Unfortunately, you cannot just simply control the unit from an external touch screen - but tomorrow during our live show, we will show a 'work-around'. Subscribe to the channel so you are notified each time we go live and you can remind us in the chat to show this feature :-)
Hello, thank you for the info. Unfortunaly I missed Your live show. Can you please point me to the info for using a larger TOUCH screen with the SD40/SD90. Thanks again. Salleke.
Already implemented (manually). Turn on PIANNIST mode and set to AUTO and Sustain = On. Then to to MENU - MIDI - ARRKbd - RX and set GLOBAL = 1. Everything else OFF. Save as a CUSTOM start up. That's it.
If you want to control the machine (chord progression), then you either need a Midi Guitar OR Midi bass pedals. If you want to play lead sounds (sax, piano .. etc) with your guitar, you will need a Midi Guitar. Now, you can convert your existing Accoustic or Electric Guitar by purchasing the new Fishman Tripple Play Midi adaptor (about $600.00). This ads a hex-pick up to your existing Guitar and transmits a wireless signal to a USB dongle that you then plug into your arranger Module (SD40, SD90 .. etc). Check out this video too:- ua-cam.com/video/0RMMkOvYA0A/v-deo.html
@@AjamSonic I have a casio mg510 and a roland ready strat. I was just asking about guitar mode here. you mentioned being able to just use an acoustic guitar
@@ThePipeous To answer your question in other words, yes, Guitar mode does not require MIDI if you use pedals to control the arranger and don't play lead voices. It requires MIDI if you want to use the Guitar to control chords and/or play lead voices.
Now this is multi-talent at its best.... just a few videos ago, this guy was playing keyboards ... and now GUITAR?? Darn. The SD90 is a terrific module I may add. Guitar players finally have a 'toy' they too can catch up with keyboard players with!

Yes we can.
But sometimes you have to ensure, that the chord recognition interprets it right, to modify harmonies, that it delivers the right bass tone.
Fair play to you ,nice demo of a fantastic module.
