    I’m unable to hold a steady voice . It happens subconsciously I guess the minute I’m asked to sing , technically I know how to read music and pitch wise too I’m good , yet I sound wobbly despite my practise ;(

      I found it helps me with that issue if I imagine that my sound production is occurring several feet in front of me beyond my mouth.

    Mr Trimbre how to understand the notion of breath stop comparing this to italian idea of singing sul fiato? I tought that when i start to sing the atack must be automatic and natural, and you talking about diffrent point of breath stop, it is confusing.

    • @Tenoretrimble
      @Tenoretrimble  4 місяці тому +3

      sul fiato means "on the breath". It does not mean the breath should be moving in the belly, but that the belly should be still and the voice should respond to the closing movement of the ribs in the lower back.

    Following your videos and book, I have been spending a lot of time breathing deeply and trying to release the neck and jaw.... the moment I started even thinking about my molars - my jaw tensed up... not sure these are worth it at my stage.

    What do you mean by stopping the breath against the teeth, exactly? It's all a bit esoteric.

      It's just a matter of using the perfect amount of air. Of course, breath still flows out, but it FEELS like it doesn't.

    Love your videos. Do you have any tips for singing more clearly in head register? Like tebaldi did or Birgit Nillson. They were so powerful, yet perfectly clear.

    Nasality is a result of incorrect breathing, correct?
    More development equals clarity?

    • @belcantobrasil
      @belcantobrasil 4 місяці тому

      If it is nasal and continues nasal even when you close you nose with your fingers, it is because of a shallow breath.
