- Finally finished my 1964 Triumph 3ta 500cc, with 5ta barrels and head,Aprillia upside down forks,Greeves petrol tank with brass racing cap,one off oil tank and cap,and black powder coated suzuki wheels,stainless steel hand made exhausts, I'm quite happy with the result, now all we need is a good summer !

How did you make a triumph 500 sound like a Harley Davidson? I've owned one ; it never sounded anything like that.
It could be the unequal length of the pipes or a crank rephase

"Bobber" in 1964 would have referred to a member of HMG's constabulary. As applied to a motorbike it is a modern term.

I think that's a stainless steel exhaust, as long you have jeans on, it only warm your leg a bit
